  • I wish there were more people with this sort of mind set, or at least understanding of it. So many people live by these overpowering morals and are afraid to think for themselves and to come up with new ideas. Don't blindly give all your faith to one man's ideas, because if it's wrong, then what do you have? Our society was formed by people who thought for themselves and made up their own beliefs. We should never stop questioning the way things are.

  • Totally agree. My only argument would be I don't believe people should commit suicide based on depression, there's ways to get help and be happy. But I am not against suicide, I think it should be legal. I can understand it for someone who's become paralyzed or is just old and in pain. By nature, Human's were only meant to live til age 40ish. We are extending our life spans in fear of death. Who knows? maybe its not so bad.

  • Thou shall not kill...yourself included!

Satan comes to steal and destroy.

Anyone with a conscience should never want to benefit from someone who committed suicide. You can't see that because you are under the spirit of evil in this world.

I hope you enjoy the praise that certain lost others give you because it's your lot!

Jesus Christ saves and brings eternal life to those who believe and follow Him.

  • @RPM11111

blah blah blah you are just repeating another man's words. weather it's god's or not. It's not your words. Don't be afraid to think for yourself

  • @tripvids420

Some people's words are worth repeating. U think because u speak utter nonsense that it's cool because they're ur words? Besides there's nothing new about ur words - look at all the likeminded wanabee-different -for-different's-sake lemmings u attract on ur one little video. The world is full of young upstarts that think because they swim against sensibility they're somehow new or special in some way and u most likely won't learn that until it's too late to do anything about it.

  • This would never work and is a retarded idea. You would have to be able to somehow determine an individual was never going to be happy again with their life ever again. That is impossible. The organs you're harvesting from a person obviously suffering a mental instability or illness belong to someone who could recover with health. This is like saying let's harvest the organs of cancer patients.

  • ug. I am speechless.

  • fluently*, not fluent. Sorry.

  • I really envy you.

The fact that you come up with such amazing things to say, and the way you say it is so fluent.

I may not know you, but I look up to you, and I have since I first started watching your videos.

  • that was amazing. im surprised there's not more comments. after seeing so many people I love die after suffering im pro euthanasia. They do it in other countries why not in the US?

  • pretty gutsy idea.. props

  • One word, wow.

Although this is very much not probable or "possible" it is very profound.

    Just, wow.

  • This is improbable due to the fact that the human race as a species will not easily contemplate any death to be of and or free will. Though some have a double-standard of the death penalty, in the end it it always "some" that make our race have different P.O.V's. And as I see it a suicidal person would not want anyone else to know of there actions. Also the government will always intervene and speak upon what is not righteous, though they contradict thier own good will at most times.

  • The idea of giving people this option is intriguing. Much more humane and pain free compared to slitting your wrists. But yeah never gonna happen so why even talk about it.

  • Because change comes slowly.

  • woah very interesting maybe we will find such facilities in our not so distant future seems like a good idea, but i think that people who commit suicide do so out of an inspiration if you will at a point where they've sunken so low so deep that they want instant death; having to go somewhere and fill out paperwork and stuff like that would only discourage people from suicide i think n to constantreasearcher34 kudos my friend it is fuking marvelous to rise from the deepest darkest hole imaginable

  • Instead of phone booths on the street we can have suicide booths like Futurama! But yea anyone who is waiting for the "after life" sorry but this is all we have so don't waste it !

  • A. you don't know what death is

    B. death is not essential

  • yeah it is look at it from a natural point of veiw read emmerson and throeau

  • sickening idea that devalues the "donor." People with terminal disease don't make viable donors and I hope your not suggesting people with depression just go ahead and do it to extend another's life. Lastly, organ transplants are not a cure but merely a treatment which may extend a life sometimes not all that significantly. Sorry to oversimplify because of the small space.

  • Suicide almost always takes place during a period of serious depression when the person is not thinking clearly. They don't see possiblities - only their immediate difficulties. If suicide was committed only by fully rational people, Mac, your idea might have validity. But they are not rational, at least temporarily. I can't think of anyone in my experiece who once contemplated suicide that would have been better off having done so. Most go on to happier, more productive lives.

  • What a fantastic idea.

  • "Suicide should be celebrated". I've been depressed and down that road. The only thing I am thankful of is that I never made that kind of stupid decision. Suicide should never be celebrated; suicide is saying: I give up after reaching a very low point in your life. No, finding the light at the end of the tunnel and finding the strength to pull yourself out is what should be celebrated. Life is sacred; not to mention suicide is one of the most selfish acts you can do.

  • i agree but tell that to someone with a incurable disease in agony.

  • While serving in the military, Jack Kevorkian suggested that blood harvested from dead soldiers could be used to save others by using it to provide transfusions, as blood supply is often in insufficient to meet the need in battlefield conditions. The suggestion was rejected, I suppose as it somehow violated the dead or was considered ghoulish, although undeniably practical.

  • that would actualy be a great idea. to counter the arguement soldiers could sign a form saying that they would like to save another person with their blood. they give their lives to save the people back home. i dont think they would have to much a problem by doing one last good thing before they depart forever.

  • I disagree. It's easy to say "those people" and become detached to the reality of the situation. What if your father or mother or sister came home one day and said: "I don't want to live anymore; I'm going to commit suicide"? Would you not want to stop them? Would you not want to get them help? Statistically Suicide is usually a tragic response to a treatable illness; usually depression.

  • Government sponsored death? Mmmm no thanks.

Though something like this may hasten the Eugenics initiative.

You just never can tell when you see one? lol

  • "Anticipation of Death is often worse then Death itself..". ;-)

  • Oh, and I wasn't saying YOU Mac had an obsession with Death in society--I was making a general comment regarding society has a silent obsession with it, and wondering why we as a society seem obsessed with it.

  • I would like to have heard the whole 12 minutes of this. Very insightful. :) Its a crime and psychological disorder to try and kill yourself.

Why the obsession with Death as a taboo topic in society? Its as natural as a fart and it will happen to everyone whether we want it to or not. People get very emotional about it like when someone they know is dying--emotional bond aside, could that be because its a reminder of their own mortality or a simple reaction to things out of their control?

  • Consider also Metalica's Kill 'em All CD, Rush's "The Pass," "Suicide Solution" by OZZY, "Don't Fear The Reaper" by B.O.C., and the hits keep coming.

On that note, what do you mean there is no one to talking about it? Are you kidding? There are hot lines, forums and everything to deal with these issues.

Oh well, see you on the other side :)

  • Have you considered working for Obama? Read about Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, you will love what he has to say. He is TOTALLY on your side, and he works in the White House.

  • I wish I could remember the name of a wonderful documentary about the taboo of death and how some cultures embrace death , even celebrate it rather than keep it hidden. Had something to do with dance, like "the hidden dance" or missing dance.

  • agree totally but wont ever happen
