This episode was supposed to lead into some major plot points for season three, had Disney not changed it and added Annie. Jack was supposed to find out that he was the reincarnation of a knight, and Fi was supposed to be the one to defeat evil as she is the last in the line of witches and something about being her father's decendent.
Sorry theater geek butting in. While most of this stuff is accurate to how a real theater works, being allowed to go around the theater unsupervised and play with the props and costumes is totally unheard of. They shouldn't even be in the dressing room area unless they had permition from the other actors sharing that dressing room before hand.
@RialVestro This is the 90's, they're the children of relatively famous people, and they're related to one of the actors. I'm pretty sure they can get away with it. Besides, not being allowed doesn't mean they don't do it anyways.
@AlashiaTuol I've worked in a professional theater for 6 years, being related to one of the actors wouldn't matter. And they wouldn't be able to do that stuff because there would be cast and crew working around them the entire time. There's no way in hell that kids would ever be running around unsupervised in the theater like that. You should check out a series called "Slings and Arrows" it'll give you a more realistic idea of how a theater operates.

It's kind of a side effect of having actually worked in theater, get a different perspective on things that I didn't even think about the first time I seen this episode. You probably think the same way when you see your job portrayed in TV wrong while no one else notices that it's wrong. My grandpa who is a retired police officer points out mistakes in police dramas on TV.

When i watch movies like the devil wears prada i laugh at things that make no sense- but always know there are the exceptions. I mean its not like they said go wild but also no one really had a problem when i ran around the props out of boredom or hung out in the back during rehearsals.
@TracyToxxxic Yeah but you're old enough to be able to put the props back where you found them. Everything is layed out back stage for easy access. If something ends up out of place because some kid moved it then we can't find it for the show.

Yeah, that's the story. I think he actually did die in a car accident, but it was caused by Bricriu (I think...if not, it was some will-o-the-wisp). I don't think they ever REALLY explained what happened. They were going to do that in the 3rd season before that storyline got scrapped. Either it was just a cover, or it was t he truth, but it was caused by the paranormal. I don't remember.
the witch thing is on fi's dads side they were gonna revel it in season 3 but fi left :( and i dont think her mom knew that but yeah and what the other person said lol

One thing I loved about this show is that is subtly foreshadowed future plotlines and characters at least one season in advance like Fi's attraction to the paranormal like her father and Clu's brother Carey. It's very good continuity.

The reason you probably don't remember this episode is because while this show was one Disney channel this episode was only on like 3or 4 probably because it references the occult.
its because they give alot of hints as whats to come in season 2; Melinda talking to Molly about Fi's attraction to the paranormal and their family name being in the magic book both answers we find out threw out the series
