Blasphemy! Luna Dial is possibly my favorite track in the entire Touhou Project!
This remix is good, though I give the original points for being better, especially on the final bit of the melody. IaMP's uses primarily piano and ends up a lot softer.
I tend to enjoy the piano parts of this little IaMP version of Luna Dial. I think one of the things that really put me off of the original was that it was supposed to sound like rock but like...it didn't. Though I REALLY like =NeutraL='s arrange of Luna Dial in their DARKNESS and GRAVITY albums.
I'm not sure. Maybe I'm looking at it the wrong way. ZUN did say in his comment that he was trying to make it sound like rock but hey. Maybe I'm focusing too much on what it was supposed to be rather than what it is. I guess I'll listen to it a few more times. xD
This sounds a bit Capcom-ish, don't you think? O:

Don't get me wrong - I like the piano, I just think the original does it better. I don't think the original was supposed to sound so much like rock...
...but then I love the original so much because it reminds me of a clock. The song just really feels like a clock, or like time itself. *shrug*
If we want a true rock remix of Luna Dial, Ezel-Ash provides. This comes across as softer, which, while good, I still prefer the original.
