That was great! I was ONEdering if you could demo some Hi-Gain stuff, through a Mesa Recto or Marshall with The PRS One. I heard it can do that well, but I haven't hEARd it for my own ears. THANKS!
i don't own a mesa recto or a high gain marsahll, but i'll try to do my best with a blackstar HT, setted in the highest possible gain, as soon as possible...
@UkeOfEarl Is so true. If you heard one of these recorded on a classic Blues Rock Album you would be hunting around trying to get 'that' tone! I bought an SEll because I heard a PRS P90 through a classic tweed amp and it was the EXACT tone I wanted from a Tweed amp without excessive volume or pedals. It delivered this an so much more - was a fantastic purchase. Strangely enough owning Gibson and Fenders already I thought it great to also be able add a PRS inexpensively...!
@UkeOfEarl ..Bought myself a used Prs Soapbar single cut simply to get the sound from the P90's for playing bottle neck .I listened to Tim Holt playing with the James Mc Murtry band on "Live In Europe" and when I heard the sound he got it was good enough for me.. Have had lots of Gibson's . Strats, you name it., but this little guitar is as finely made as any of them..Terrific qualities when even played acoustically, which is always the tell tale sign of any instrument worth it's salt...:)
as said at the end of the video, amp is a Fender HotRod Deville 212, and pedals are Marshall Bluesbreaker BB2 overdrive and Danelectro Cool Cat Tremolo.
really liked the sound of your gtr, can't say that about most prs i hear on youtube...great sound!
