@simon44 Buffeting is not caused by small screens. Tall screens induce turbulence and therefore buffeting. A peaked helmet will give some lift however.

I have been considering buying a KTM Duke. Can you please tell me approx. how long you can ride on this beast without our arse taking a toll? I have been going on all days adventures on my DRZ400 and it hurts....bad!
With a helmet like that and wind protection as little as that does your head not buffet like mad?

oh thats a good reason ;-) i got the 2010 smc and i can ride it down to 2500rpm or 2000 and it doesnt surge ;-)

why do you rev the engine so high if you dont accelerate much? just pick the 6. gear your engine will say: thank you ;-)
