  • What kid I'd sport is this? These same guys probably like to shoot bambi and kill pigs with knifed. Disgusting

  • Rodeo is not abuse... I have done it all my life! It isn't how these people put it. Really it isn't. I have done it all me life and not ONCE have they hurt an animal or porson.

  • @Westernchicksroxx The video doesn't lie. Those are actual rodeo animals being harassed, injured and some even killed at rodeos by rodeo people. This has nothing to do with 'how we put it'. The video clearly shows what rodeo does to animals.

  • @Westernchicksroxx

Doesnt look like the calf is having a great time....not at all. Men are not supposed to have dark hearts. We need men to be strong and reach out to show love, respect for animals and security. Not fear and domination towards animals who can not fight back. I dont know the history behind the rodeo but I am pretty sure that it did not start out as a game. If you are a woman in rodeo then you should be even more ashamed. If not, I will be ashamed for you.

  • rodeos are not rodeo abuse!

  • even after they know that the poor thing is hurt, they drag it around and throw more ropes around him. I hate how poorly rodeo animals are treated, especially during the wild horse race. so many horses buck so hard that they go into shock and fall dead! People need to get a life instead of murdering God's beautiful, innocent animals!

  • so sad i feel for these animals they have no choice in how they are liven their lives i know i sure wouldnt want to be in their places haven people rop and drag me to the ground in most cases hurting me. i we has humane choose how we want to live them has animals are viewed to have no feeling of pain and have no choice has i said my heart goes out to these animals

  • @TheCraziewolf Thanks for your post.

  • the steer's leg might be broken, but the rodeo industry takes better care of these animals then they do their own selves. you guys should find better things to do then try to get team roping outta the prca. it ain't gonna happen.

  • @jwebby90 ""but the rodeo industry takes better care of these animals then they do their own selves"" No one in the rodeo industry is chased and roped for fun and prizes. No one in the rodeo industry travels in trailers, crammed with other animals, standing in their own and others pee and crap. No one in the rodeo industry stays for days on end in barren dusty or muddy pens.

  • First of all, the heeler didn't mean to run the steer over. Rodeo is a way to make a living for those guys, and they couldn't give that up then. And the reason the steer was carried out on a piece of fencing was because a stretcher for cowboys wouldn't be strong enough to carry the steer out. Oh, and by the way, good for you for not supporting the US Army who is out right now defending assholes like you.

  • @TheCowboyrockstar We support the Army. We don't support the waste of taxpayer dollars and the Army's image filthied by supporting animal abuse. If rodeo was a way to make a living, why do they have to pay to do it? They can use the money they waste on entry fees--which are a gamble that they'll win at least that much--to buy food, pay bills, etc.

  • there could be millions or dollars on the line for the roper depending on whether or not they get a time. i'd rope a broken leg for a million bucks.

and obviously you havent played football before, if an opposing player is hurt athletes use that to their advantage. if a corner has a broke leg i promise tom brady would throw it to whoever that corner is covering. its called winning.

  • @asutx14 Thank you for validating the utter disregard rodeo people and its supporters have for the animals' health, safety and welfare. You just proved what we've been saying all along is correct.

  • shut up

  • @mr5hole 'tradition' is not an excuse for cruelty. In some countries, its tradition to sell women and have their genitals cut and sewn to be torn open by the purchasing man.. but that kind of thing would be fine by you, right? Torture and suffering doesn't matter, as long as it's been happening for a long time!

  • @kezzaFIDDY Gosh FGM disgusts me. Have you noticed all these unspeakable acts of cruelty are perpetrated my males?

  • all you 'rodeo loving' assholes need a reality check. This is animal abuse at a high scale, the way you speak throughout the comments just proves your mentality. Only people who do not give an absolute shit about animals and the way they are treated, could do this, you are definatly NOT so called 'animal lovers'. I hope you all rot in hell

  • Animals are also living things .. and they shall be dealt with simply disgusting and should be banned .. damn what traditions there are in America! But something is also typical for the Americans .. the animals do me just sorry!

  • Why can't they just stop the horse after the calf is roped isntead of dragging the poor thing?

  • you call your selves human??? animal have rights you know...by acting like that we are worse than animals......torturing them and having fun?? is that even human?? damn it !!

  • You realize that most of these events came out of necessity? Ranchers had to rope a calf and tip it over in order to tag, brand, and vaccinate it. This is an absolute disgrace. This organization needs to open its eyes and understand where we are coming from. Accidents happen, and you seem to be judging a lot of them as events that happen on purpose. The people that support rodeo far outnumber those who don't. Doesn't that tell you something?

  • @lizardo2013 This steer's injury need not have happened. There was no necessity here - just greed and cruelty.

  • @SHARKonlineorg this steers injury was an accident i like what yall are doing but sometimes you go over board i didnt even notice the poor steers leg till you said something whats to say the riders didnt either i mean come on i dont believe in roping in shape or form in think its cruel but on there defence they may not have know he was hurt that bad granted yes they should have stopped as soon as he went down im not denying that but you cant prove that they knew his leg was broke

  • @lizardo2013 i do support rodeos for everything BUT calf roping and steer wrestling i dont believe in either of those im mean common who would want to run as fast as they can just to have a rope thrown around there neck its not a sport as you said once apon a time it was necissary but not anymore now they say its a sport its not a sport to rope babies and if you see i made a disagreement with shark on this video but it wasnt because i agree with this "sport"

  • @lizardo2013 it was because i dont believe they honestly hurt that calf more than he already was and thats they way they were making it seem that doesnt make it right now if they lived on a ranch to where it was necisary for them to do it then so be it but this isnt something that has to be down they do it for a (sport) and this is the only part of rodeo i dont agree with i mean common would you run as fast as you can just to have a rope thrown around your neck???????

  • This is a fucking tradition!

    R.I.P Steer

Fuck all people to do this !!!

  • Go F**k yourself shark, Rodeo is an american tradition , i have been doing it since i was 12 and will do it till I die, and although I do not agree with broncs being tazed It is harmless to the bulls

  • @mr5hole And yet shocking the bulls is against PRCA rules.

  • @mr5hole

what does mr5hole stands for? oh, i know, it stands for mr arshole. You must be really dumb saying rodeo is harmless to the bulls, after seeing a video with a steer who's leg is broken. Go one and be dumb till you die. And i hope you die in de near future, really painfully, as the animals used in rodeo.

  • @mr5hole so do you read bull minds ? u sure do know a lot about what hurts them.

  • I hate animal right activist like these people, theres more to the story then what is actually happening, and when you are roping there is so much happening, you cant keep track...The heeler also roped the steers unbroken leg, and released it as soon has it was caught, for a "time".... then the rodeo official step in to help the animal.. I believe people should get their stories straight before accusing...

  • @Wranglergirl88 You got it very straight. Thank you. There's so much going on, they can't keep track of what they're doing, which includes breaking animals' legs and then the broken leg has to be roped anyway so the 'human' can get a 'time'. No thought whatsoever about the animal, only a 'time'. Thank you for validating what we've been saying all along about rodeo animal abuse.

  • @Wranglergirl88

    stupid stupid idiot

  • @Wranglergirl88

I hope you die very slow and painfully, in the near future. And go to hell.

  • no one cares how bad you want this stopped its not going to happen give up

  • @23bullriding Scared, aren't you? Sorry, we won't 'give up' as long as you're abusing animals.

  • @SHARKonlineorg No dont give up, use guys at these and other rodoes are totally sick in the mind if you think putting an innocent animal in this situation to make make use feel like strong powerfull men is ok. Its an efin joke that its actually aloud in the 1st place, GO ANIMAL ACTIVISTS!!!!! KEEP THE GOOD WORK UP AND PUT THESE ANIMALS (MAN) OUT THE GAME! YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEUK TO ANIMAL CRUELTY SSSSSSSSSSSSSS

  • @MyBabiesMyHorses Thanks for your post. We'll be there for the animals as long as they need us.

  • @23bullriding

    you are so wrong.

  • corrida in Spain, rodeo in USA, dogs fights in many parts of the world, mice lab research in EVERY parts of the world AND lawyers highly paid to write LAWS. Please remind me who go and watch this so called entertainments?

  • So sick to watch. If they where doing this to lets say a dog they would be in jail. These "men" should all be put in jail for their crimes. They are no better than Mike Vick.

  • @ChrisCR1 Your observation is very true. When rodeos bring in dog acts to entertain the mindless in the stands, those dogs are covered under cruelty laws. However, livestock is never covered under cruelty laws when on the rodeo grounds. That's why they can harm these animals all they want and not be held accountable.

  • @SHARKonlineorg Been watching alot of your videos today. What I like about yours is that they are not staged like some videos from other animal rights people. Some of those video are either staged or very very badly misconstrued facts. What I have seen on yours is just how things happen in plain sight. Doubt you will but I hope you dont ever drop to the levels some others do for a "wow" or "shock" factor. Keep it real and keep up the good work.

  • @ChrisCR1 Thanks. We film what's right in front of our eyes.

  • ouch my neck hurts really bad maybe thats how animals feel when they get roped -_-

  • and these people claim to be christians, i hate rednecks and christians

  • i beleive that there are rodeos that are not this but the place that are need to be STOPED

  • i have no problem with eating cows it is the food chain but behaving like that is just so wrong what have they done to you? plz thumbs up to this comment i want this sport to stop.

  • @wildwyoboyz

and what do you think is going to happen with that calf? is he going to be well threated with the small change he is getting full better? NO he's just going to the slaughter!! would someone go there with ANY sport?!?! NO precise.

and another thing: Mostly people do sports becouse they like it, right? Do you think these animals like it?!?!? well I think the most horses like barrel racing and roping, but this calf obviously DON'T like it!!!! he's death scared, poor thing :(

  • THE AMERICAN QUARTER HORSE ASSOSIATION! omg and to think i never knew. those betrayers

  • i rodeo and i love to rope and not all rodeos r like this and yes we do take great care of the animals used and they get vet checked every day and i have seen worse.

  • @flaxy121098 ""and i have seen worse."" And what have you done about it?

  • @SHARKonlineorg

well said SHARKonlineorg these type of people make me sick!

  • hey why do u think your so perfect talking about rodeo like this...i also agree with wildwyoboyz...

  • @BNBILLIE4AZ So you think it's all right to harm some animals as long as they keep it to a low number?

  • The reason is he had to much slack any real roper would have no slak so that is that guys fault.

  • its just like any other sports... people nd the animals are going to be injured. what is the percentage of the animals injured at all the rodeos in the whole country compared to the number that are used at all the rodeos... i dont know it but im sure you do and i bet its a very low number..... you should focus your time on something worth while. you wasting time is all your doing.

  • @wildwyoboyz No, we're not wasting our time. Because the animals that constitute what you consider the 'very low number' do not deserve to be mistreated by you and your kind.

  • I have a quater horse wait no i 6 and they all are train for barrel and team roping ! so yeah what are you going to do about it!!!!!!?????

  • @samigirlful You had to stop and think you had more than one horse?

  • That doesn't look like love to me.

  • I literally found myself screaming at my laptop. This is horrendous. ;O

  • All rodeo things are wrong! Was the steer okay? I really want rodeo to stop, it hurts even kills animals.

  • hey retards the thing had a broken leg what would you do if you had a broken leg and was being dragged around.... fuck you cowboys

  • I am a logical animal rights supporter. I know better then to be radical and blame every source... but I do not find these things right. Human beings seem to have forgotten what sort of things we could not have done without these animals, and what we wouldn't have. I believe that every animal should have a good peaceful life, even if it is going to be eaten as a steak or a chicken sandwhich. Nothing living deserves to go through this

  • @KieraTakaTocala We concur. Thanks for your post.

  • @KieraTakaTocala WELL SAID I APPLAUD YOU

  • @KieraTakaTocala I agree, I'm an animal welfarist, not rightist. Not all humans have rights enforced and trying to ensure animal rights is just illogical, but we still have a responsibility to them to look after them to the best of our ability

  • Look i'm not going to be the guy that cuses but, is it cruel to eat a peice of meat i know that in fact the steer in this video was more than likely processed into meat to feed some starving kid somewhere. The fact is you think your organiztions videos help but, they don't rodeo is always going to be a sport people are always going to want to see horses and the other livestock. Your organization should focus more on other things that are actually cruel like dog fighting or bull fighting in spain

  • @racingbrady It's nice that you didn't cuss, thank you. However, we will continue to focus on rodeo as long as animals suffer for your entertainment.

Torturing any animal before its death is cruel. Whether it's going to be eaten or not.

  • i do rope... i think it is wrong to rope after that happend but i know its okay because these people do and did take care of that steer. so this video is an insult to us cowboys!! and our animals

  • @laechcim9087 You think it's wrong? Then say it's okay? As for being insulting, nothing is more insulting than people who abuse animals and people who defend those who do.

  • @laechcim9087 It is only an insult to you because it shows how cruel you are to the animals! If you truly cared for the animals, YOU WOULD STOP! Ignorance is bliss I guess. If you rope, then how would you feel if someone came up to your animal (if you even own one) and broke its legs, or neck, or shocked it right in front of you? If you rope, YOU SUPPORT ANIMALS CRUELTY AND SHOULD. YOU HAVE NO MORALS WHAT-SO-EVER.

  • oh okyday

  • that isnt that graphic at allit happens all the tiime

  • @drunkdude86 We refer to it as graphic for the decent people who don't normally watch other humans harming animals for entertainment and who aren't indifferent or apathetic to it as you are.

  • Poor animal, and they keep torturing the poor calf. What an idiots. Why roping it eventhough it was clear the poor animals had a broken leg? These people should be ashamed of themselves calling this a 'sport' and having fun torturing animals. Idiots.

  • They continued to rope the animal to prevent any injury from its DISLOCATED HIP, and that is NOT a piece of fencing that is a cattle strecher. So PLEASE stop twisting things the way you do. You are not as manipulative as you think you are making yourself look stupid.

  • @lovemymoo How thoughtful. You're concerned about us looking stupid. Too bad you're not concerned the PRCA continues this abusive event that causes an animal to have broken legs, dislocated hips, etc. and the need to be hauled off on a stretcher. You may think we 'twist' things, however, the truly twisted part is the mindset of rodeo people who harm animals for entertainment and prizes.

  • @SHARKonlineorg You shouldnt assume that i am also not concerned for the animals, because you would be mistaken. I would like whoever yall are to get the facts straight and stop lying. Not all rodeos are like the ones you put up on youtube and people need to know that. Through rodeos i have earned over five thousand in scholarships that will go to an education so i may give my animal currently, and others a nice life on nice land.

  • @lovemymoo We don't assume. It's apparent you're making excuses for what happened in this video instead of being outraged that animals are harmed.

btw, what are you doing about abusive rodeos?

  • @lovemymoo Great excuse. Broken leg or dislocated hip, you don't rope a calf after that. And yeah, a cattle stretcher and after that it was shot? Thank you little bull but sorry?

  • Don't mind the sport at all, but you gotta admit, this is kinda messed up. At least they took the calf out on a stretcher and didn't just drag it out though. No matter what you do, it's not like you're gonna change rodeo anyways, it's an American tradition.

  • @66SiK It's not an American tradition. It's the 'tradition' of a certain segment of the populace.

  • That doesnt seem very fare

  • that last time he is trying to heel the steer, he is trying to trip him so the official can subdue him so he doesnt hurt himself more

  • that average title is worth millions of dollars ..you kno ur ass woulda keep roping at it if u was gettin paid that much too sooo shut the hell up.

  • @ropergilbert No decent person makes money off the suffering of animals. But thanks for clarifying that it's money, not animal welfare, that is the major concern of rodeo people.

  • @ropergilbert You just admit that it's all about money, not about the welfare of animals. Makes you look REALLY stupid. And real 'men' wouldn't keep roping, no matter what money is involved. Not everybody is for sale. Only stupid fucks like yourself.

  • geez, I can't even stand to watch a fish suffer:( I gave up fishing after having a fish clinic:) I LOVE sharks too and am also totally againts finning and any other abuse.

  • grettagrids: Thanks for your post.

  • You guys have no idea, this steer would have been killed anyways... for the beef that you guys would eat. The horse couldn't stop to not step on the steer even if the cowboy would have tried to stop him. The steer was carried out on a stretcher for the steer, Not a piece of fencing. You guys make me laugh so hard at your pure stupidity and the fact that you listen to everything this guy says.

  • greendayfreak2011: You think it's acceptable to abuse an animal that's going to slaughter anyway?

  • this must be stopped. the horse is not blame to , only humans are fully responsible. they have to be sued to animal cruelty.

  • hey when your runnin one for 16 thousand a night and 40 thousand and that steers probably gunna end up goin to mcdonalds anyway i probably rope em to bud

  • krausmister20: Of course you would. In rodeo, money and ego always takes precedence over animal suffering.

  • ok i have to say thats fucked up

  • ok watever but also when the horse steped on the steer it could have broke it that way... And not all injurys are from the ppl another steer could have kicked that one...

  • kailey2526: Right. Blame the horse. Not the people who put both of these animals in this situation.

  • some are but others are NOT... That steer could have broke it leg just starting 2 run out @ the start... And if they did care about the steer the would have just dragged him out and not take the time 2 get him out of the arena safey...

  • kailey2526: Rodeo wouldn't even stoop that low anymore to drag an animal out without a sled of some kind. They must keep up the appearance they 'care'.

  • dude there is nothing wrong with team roping there is even wrap on the horns so we dont rub them raw that was an accident the steer just got jerked wich broke the leg and he fell and the heeler ran over him on accident ya no? there is nothing wrong with it not abuse its just another sport look at football they break legs is that abuse?

  • danyelle0713: ah yes, remembering a steer from a two-year old video.

This steer has some distinct markings. Please send us a picture of it being happy.

  • check out my cartoon rise of the bovine!!

  • How sad :( I team rope but would never rope a poor cow with there leg broken I would kick Im partners ass for that!!! How sad :(

  • disgusting, poor creature.

and ejbmom, you are sick. how can you eat something that was once alive and happy?

  • Yes, it does mean more money-that is their job. When people excel in their job they are paid more-fact of life. If you were to look more closely at your video you would that the dodge pickup man tried to rope the back right leg. Since you know nothing about team roping you wouldn't know that. I don't think the steer minded being carried off on fencing-what would you suggest? To waste my time on someone who has no common sense is stupidity on my part. I smell a steak on my grill-yummy.

  • ejbmom: Since team roping leaves the animal standing, your logic that he was trying to rope the right leg while the left leg is swinging broken is laughable. How was the animal supposed to stand with the right leg roped taut and the left broken? Yes, the stupidity is entirely on your part.

  • You consider an accident brutality? That was the NFR! No team roper wants his steer to go down-NFR or at a jackpot. Even the hotshots that you scream are so brutal are not that bad-have you ever been shocked by one? It isn't a policeman's tazer gun not to mention the hide of bovine is a little tougher than that of a human. If you knew what you were talking about you would fight a real cause like child abuse.

  • ejbmom: Big deal this was the NFR. All that means is more money. The steer's leg was clearly broken, yet the 'professional cowboy' wanted his time so he roped the broken leg. Wow. Great manly cowboy displaying his version of respect and love for the animal? More like loser moron with dollar signs in his eyes instead of common sense.

  • the dang steer could have just been limping there was no proof until the doc came

  • colbygilchrist: Yeah, the steer was swinging its leg making believe it was broken. dang, silly steer trying to fool the 'professional cowboys'..

  • ok so maybe they wernt payingh attition to that leg everyone makes mistakes aight maybe you should quit messin with ropers we love what we do an would do anything to just rope every second of the day all you do it seems is sit on a damn computer finding ways to put down ropers maybe you should go get in your little bubble pick some flowers or something get off the damn computer GET A LIFE

  • colbygilchrist: Perhaps you should get off your computer, learn when you're roping to recognize when you've broken an animal's leg and cease to torment it further.

  • maybe you should suck it

  • colbygilchrist: Looks like we pegged you right. Thank you.

  • rodeo people do not abuse animals. i guess when these animals have blankets on in the winter and fans in their pens/stalls in the summer is considered abuse. you don't report on the lengths that real cowboys take to protect and take care of the stock and their horses. Why? Do you know a cowboy is only as good as his horse is? That is their living, odds are the horses will go to the vet before the cowboy goes to the doctor. You don't know the life of a true cowboy like these 2 men.

  • ejbmom: Whatever care these animals get outside the arena is no defense for the brutality they suffer in the arena for entertainment.

  • You shark people are clueless.

  • ejbmom: As to why rodeo people abuse animals? Yes, in that case we're clueless.

  • How the hell would you know that the contestants knew the steers leg was broken these two cowboys spent all year and this is their one shot and they were not going to watch for the steers leg to be broken and ones again here you go again babbling random words that are just speculations

  • scaryclownshoe: These are so-called professional "cowboys". The heeler is right behind the swinging, broken leg. It would be impossible for him to not see it. For him to continue, and you to excuse it, proves the brutality of rodeo and idiocy of its supporters.

  • I HATE THIS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • this is soo mean. I personally think its ok to do team roping but when the steer breaks its leg and u still try 2 rope it u need to be sent to jail. I dont even eat cows cuz it makes me sad =[

  • i do not think that they (rodeo people) like their animals they shock them, they treat them badly. TREAT ANIMALS THE WAY YOU WANT TO BE TREATED

  • that wasnt bad we had a roping steer break its neck while roping...it just kept running and ran into a gate..we ended up eating it..hmm yum!

  • i dont see you gettin your dumb ass up there doing it. You sit behind a f*ckin camera sayin what ain't true. You dont do jack shit except make people feel bad. I yall dont like rodeo, dont even film it. Bring it up with the PRCA or something. Dont post it on here. I dont see your shit on tv. so obviously you dont prove jack shit. and prove me wrong. If you can, go ahead. But you wont. i stand behind my sport 100%

  • 4evercountrycowgirl: I see we've changed tracks again. You rude and disgusting person, you're on our site. You don't like it? You can't handle the truth? Get lost. Our footage has in fact been on local television stations around the country, as well as national and international media. The PRCA is as corrupt as the rest of your industry. Go ahead and stand behind this cruelty and corruption. That says everything about you.

  • whoopdy doo. one rodeo 3 animals were killed SHARK. but aniamls cant be preserved forever. they are all gonna die. and wouldnt you rather have them die then suffer? I have a broken back right now from a rodeo. I along with 4 other people were hurt that day. How many animas were hurt/killed? none. but im just sayin ya know, not all rodeos are the same.

  • 4evercountrycowgirl: That's your response? You claimed more people are hurt than animals. We have documentation proving you wrong. We're in the process of posting it now, and plenty is already up. You on the other hand merely tell an anecdote.

  • i watch your videos to get a good daily laugh... thanks

    PETA (people eating tasty animals)

    Get a life.

  • p2thumper07: Yes indeed, you are a rodeo person for sure.

  • ok, to those of you who think this ISNT fucked up, you need to get yourself checked into a hospital..

they break it's leg, and then continue to rope it.

    this is sad.

  • thats horrible shit.....

  • SHARK, do you rope? Have you ever been to an event you've worked your butt off your whole life to get to? You're adrenaline is rushin through your body so hard and you don't want to waste a run, and at first you can't tell the leg is actually broken immidiately, yea its injured, but injuries happen, frequently. And they didn't even complete the run, so whats the big deal? oh yeah, and you say oregon wrong.

  • Girlyballer2: You're a real twist, aren't you? You rodeo people are some kind of sorry excuses for human beings.

  • you fucking jackass its not hard to see that the cows legs is broken i would like to see you out there running for you life with a broken leg and a horse to step all over you.

  • id like to break your fucking leg you stupid cunt and see if you think its cruel or not! Rot in hell you sick bastard!!!

  • What the fuck!!! ok the steer broke its leg. rodeo animals break therir legs all the time its not cruelty!!!! get your facts straight!!!! Pussy mother fucker!!!!

  • barrelgirl95: Yep, yer a rodeo person fer sure.

  • your the pussy mother fucker i would just love to see you out there with a broken and bite around and not call that cruelty

  • this is awful. Some rodeo places need to be looked at seriously, but once again you seem to say ALL rodeos are like this - i really dont think that all Western riders behave like this. In this video its Awful though, and i am behind you in this video x

  • JacqueliineHiill: I'm glad we can agree on this one, but take a look at what this is - the NFR.

Look, rodeo isn't ours, it's yours. We can point out issues, but you and those like you are the ones who have to make the change. Our videos are your evidence, but you have to provide the grit and guts to get together and say "enough is enough."

We're pointing out the issues, and in many cases the rule breakers. Those of you with ethics and a conscience need to work together to make change.

  • You city people need to worry more about your hair and nails and probably your weight. Get a life. You people are funny. If you think this is cruelty hope you all are vegitarians. If you only knew how they kill the animals for the meat you eat. These animals could be used for this or we can just go cut there heads off and eat them.

  • 08stahly: Thanks for showing the world what trashy people you are.

  • well, do you eat meat SHARK? I honestly want to know

  • Girlyballer2: No, we don't.

  • Hi Steve ! It's Claudia (youre traducer) just want to say : that i admire poeple that does that for animals and i'm really happy and proud to traduce for you ... i'm trying the microphone today ! Thank you and have a nice day !

  • PocoZeph: Thanks Claudia. We are very grateful for your very kind assistance, although the rodeo folks probably will not be very happy.

  • Absolutely shocking and inhumane abuse of animals!

  • I just got a new lariet for my birthday I cant wait to use it.

Of course I'm going to use it on a fake roping cow, I would never hurt a poor defensless baby animal just for the fun of it like those rodeo jerks do

  • Back to the roots means maybe you should trace your lineage and see where it takes you, probably back to some form of rodeo, farm, pioneers, etc. I want numbers, numbers are better than videos. Show us numbers on injured steers, and steers that have died as a result to team roping.

  • cawhorses: What if tracing your lineage brings you back to a southern tobacco farm? Slavery is over.

Whatever happened in the past need not happen now, and that is especially true of animal abuse. Besides, real ranchers wouldn't allow their animals to be so abused. They'd be driven out of business.

We'd love to see animal injury and death reports. That is top secret information for rodeo associations. By all means, encourage the release those reports. Not fake statistics - reports.

  • Oh excuse me SHARK, but doesn't PETA have the same kind of opinions? Maybe I shouldn't be so irritated by the comments here, but I think people should know the facts from both sides of the matter. If controversy was what you were after by posting these videos you've got it!!

  • cawhorses: We're not looking for controversy. We're exposing rodeo animal abuse.

  • This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen. You took a video of a rodeo and turned it into a crime. You need to get back to the roots of this sport. Get over yourselves, rodeo is not abusive, and those animals are taken care of better than most peoples kids. You should spend some time with those 2, 7 time world champion team ropers and see how their animals are treated. Why don't you peta people go and protest people beating on their children, that's a more common than rodeo abuse!!

  • cawhorses: What does getting "back to the roots" (whatever that means) have to do with what is going on here? You're saying this steer was treated better than most kids? Perhaps most rodeo kids.

BTW, SHARK isn't PETA, but then you'd have to have some grip on reality to understand that.

  • dude this is the national finals rodeo these cowboys are gonna hit it as hard ass they can to win

  • cplking: You are absolutely correct, because rodeo isn't about the care of animals. They are simply a means to an end, no matter how much they suffer. That's what we've been saying all along.

  • omg pause at 0:28- its leg has simply snapped! thats disgusting, its only a baby!

imagin if these animals were human too. he is probs the equivilent of a 10-12 year old child, maybe a bit older/younger. imagin a young boy being hit and slapped and kicked, then chased by adults, who may be serial killer, peados, rapist ect. they pin him down, breaking his leg, then make him run on it. this is a little boy, at school maybe, with friends and family. but its not a boy, but a calf. sickening.

  • where are you guys out of becasue id like to come have a chat with yall

  • cjccodman: Illinois. Can't wait.

  • what are they supposed to carry a steer out on they cant use a stretcher, its a steer so just shut up everyone is tired or hearing you bitch about rodeo

  • cjccodman: You're tired of hearing about the suffering of rodeo animals? That's really too bad, cause we're just getting warmed up!

  • Amen Brother!! Rodeo isn't violent or abusive, it's one of the last true sports around!!

  • cawhorses: Yours is rather a pointless protest, isn't it. As the video documents, rodeo is both violent AND abusive. It isn't, and never will be a sport. In a real sport, all participants are willing. In rodeos, they're running for their lives.

  • cruel sick bastards who do this. So what's the point? Poor defenceless animal. Hope it grinds these assholes into the ground when it's older... if it survives that long.

  • tectonic08: That was unfortunately a fatal injury.

  • All i have to say is if you had a chance to win a 40,000 dollar check you would rope that steer if he had broken two legs.... so fuck you asshole and find something else to bitch about!!!!!!

  • orange90procharged: Dude, just because rodeo people have no souls or ethics, don't pretend everyone else is as low as you. Most people get real jobs, and aren't so lazy and shiftless that they're willing to abuse animals to avoid real work.

  • bresett8486: A fine rodeo representative you are.

  • hate this violence.

  • fuck u its because of people like you that theres gonna be no rodeo one day and there will be alot of fucking pissed of people and i am one of them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 69teamroper: Here's a thought for you. Why not try to clean it up? Why not put a stop to things like this incident, and the steer busting and the shocking and jerkdowns and such?

  • shit happens its just like someone breaking there leg from playin foot ball and they still get hit when there on the ground
