  • Put in an artificial reef to make it pit!!! what good is a wave if it doesnt barrel? :(

  • @gunnannug im not trying to say these kids are not good im saying is that there is wasted talent i think you miss understood my comment im saying that there are others that work just as hard and do just as much but are not reconized because of the sterotypes i am from hawaii i know the surfing world pretty decent i grew up going to breaks like crouching lion kaʻawa lefts pounders but you wouldnt know these breaks unless ur from hawaii so untill you can actualy surf stfu

  • i surf with Josh Burke all the time..the dudes a ripper.

  • Whats wrong with the ocean...?

  • Garotos Prodigios-BR

  • I know josh burke in real life

  • @LostX100 no one cares.

  • @bacura101 no what your mother said.

  • @LostX100 and?

  • There's a lip so someone throw out an air!!!

  • @CruzeOrSnuze

    they are not sponger XD

  • I surf with Josh Burke, dude's fucking sick 0_o'

  • no arials?

  • all of them has second names of famous ppl

  • Ok honestly this kids are good but for some reason you only see white kids surfing in these contest and they have a certain surfer look if you know what i mean im from hawaii and i see plenty local kids that would work these whit boys in surfing but just because they dont have the look it wont make good tv when you watch surfing footage it always has that stereotypical white kid so i think theres a lot of wasted talent

  • @kaneoheboi808jaja dude are you kidding? these kids are there because theyved worked hard and went out shot footage got spoonsorship competed in comps and been selected dont try and blame it on racism. get a life

  • Haha sick only if it was barreling

  • What spungers allowed haha

  • meh.

  • I surfed this about 10 years ago with some friends. We rented it out one night. Good times. Im 6'4, and the wave face on the takeoff came up to my shoulder at best. Then it peels down to an average of about 3 feet or so. The drop is super slow, and its fresh water so your board sits lower. You really have to hold back your bottom turn longer than usual. Fun place, but as you can imagine, you're kinda limited on your options here.

  • So I had a direct second hand experience from the size of the waves. Pat Schmidt lives about a block away from me, if that, and he said the wave height was closer to 3 feet than 5. Also, I don't know why Pat looks so young in this. I mean, size wise, he towers over kids but, I always figured he was almost 18, if not actually.

In any case, congratz to Pat and I might consider stopping by there. Looks like fun.

  • Where was this?? Florida?

  • @theGroveMan Corey howell, @ (2:20) is 5' and when he first drops in he is sitting back a little, but from the troff to the crest, lip, peak of the wave is nearly as tall as him and it was bigger on other individuals that were taller than him. need more research? Google the names of the surfers.

  • @theGroveMan Bro, you kidding me? you know where the wave is measure at right? Those were at least 3 1/2-5 1/2 foot waves

  • 8'?!?! 6'?!?!?! Are you talking about these here ankle biters thare are no bigger than 2'... Ahahaha if you think this is any where near 6' i feel sorry for the waves you see... Check out pipeline when it is 6-10' then you will understand.

  • @BomaBoi actually you cant argue with the designers and it is a 6 foot wave stop trying to be so dumb of course its not as big as pipeline and this wave isn't even heavy but it is 6 feet facts are different then opinions

  • @MRsteezy123 Hmm, we seem to be suffering from ethnocentrism. Where I'm from, Oahu Hawaii, we measure the waves from the back. And considering that Oahu is the birth place of surfing, I small kine suspect we have precedence in this matter. From the back of the wave, this is no bigger than 2'.. Look up pipe 6-10'. Those are fucking huge!! These are barely head height. Its just my opinion, and the opinion of Hawaii.. So dont call me dumb when you clearly dont know what your talking about

  • @BomaBoi well see the height of the wave is six feet and if your gonna argue cause of your surfing beliefs go ahead but im saying just as any other website and the engineers of park its 6 feet

  • @BomaBoi I got your back,I'm from east Maui and I surf North shore Oahu every winter, any of these kooks would get serious lickings from Pipe @4ft. No one can contest that 6-10 Pipe is Nooooo Joke. Aloha.

  • @MrSlayer2112 Mahalos braddah

  • @BomaBoi No worries cuz

  • the freakin wave is 8ft when you have surfing competitons and 6ft for regular park hours look at a video called typhoon lagoon:behind the scences that will tell you what you want to know!!!

  • @DARDISNEY365 Looks like 2-3 to me,and I happen to surf real waves daily,How big can they crank it up to?

  • Fun little 2 foot waves for the little ones!

  • @umyeahsooook Hey im just saying surfing would be a lot cooler if they did some flip tricks or stuff like that.

  • wtf im pretty sure these waves are 4-5 ft maybe 6 but definetly not 8 what the hell do u surf

  • @Aarondz1 Its a 6ft wave

  • yeeeeahyeah, of course, 8ft, 12ft, 15ft... are you guys insane? Have you ever surfed a real wave, or just this man made shit? it doesn't has more than 2ft!

  • Its 8 ft tall

  • how big was the wave cuz at 1:24 it looks huge!?

  • @DARDISNEY365 definatley head high

  • @DARDISNEY365 2-3 ft. Honesty. If you want to see HUGE check out The tow session at the Billabong pro this year in Tahiti or check out some footage of Jaws on Maui, and you can always check out the most deadly wave in the world PIPELINE.

  • no lefts?

  • yes they are man made. As a matter of fact there are 12 huge 15 foot high chambers at the surf wave pool's deep end.

  • surfers should learn how to do a kickflip or somethin because watching them carve gets really gay after awhile

  • @BrotherhoodCT these kids are kooks

  • @BrotherhoodCT Guys are doing Kickflips,Shuv its,Rodeo flips on real waves.Check out Jordy Smiths Rodeo flip in the Mentawais...Sooo Sick,Guys make shuv its look really good but any of the kf's i've seen just dont look right but guys are doing mental airs these days, see Julian Wilson,Dane Reynolds,Clay Marzo,Jamie O Brian.....

  • Yew, Stevie Pittman!

  • yeah pattycake

  • are the waves man-made?

  • @oxsideswipexo Yeah, their's a wall that holds tons of gallons of water they give it about 2 minutes each and realease it (:

  • @holyshitbmth no are you dumb? its made out of air technology.

they use air pumps to pull and push water and that creates the waves.

  • its in florida
