Wow, it spend up. The tempo was like a rollercoaster, but other than that when it grooved, IT GROOVED. Pretty good, don't be nervous, you're not getting paid for it, it doesn't matter.
Good effort! Really tough song to sing, and you guys did a pretty darn good job. People on here are stupid.. but you guys rock. Respect for even playing this awesome song :D
Alright. This video is on youtube, it is literally being put up for criticism. The reason I can post this comment is because of the freedom of youtube, and my ability to say that a band on youtube sucks. What you are telling me, is that I am a douche for giving my honest opinion. If the guy who posted this didn't want critism, he wouldn't have allowed comments.
Wow, for once a performance where you can hear the piano. The instrumentation was pretty much dead on, so well done. However, there are SERIOUS intonation problems in the lead vocals. You have a good voice; work on getting it in tune!!!
thanks... yeah I agree about the vocals. Everytime I hear this it sounds worse to me. I had been singing a lot with an a cappella group, which requires a lot more projection than singing into a mic... mixing that with trying to sound like Ben, and being nervous: definitely the culprit on my intonation.
pretty good covering, though there were places that caught my ear with awkward notes...but to say, some of Ben's songs are hard to cover unless you're reading the notes and such.
In my opinion, I think playing any of Ben's easy or hard tunes, it's better to play on a grand piano or a upright. I've noticed it because of how much "drone" sound you need from the low notes. But, well done.
thanks, I actually did learn it from the book, and the awkward notes are mistakes in execution. I completely agree about the intstrumentation. Except not a grand but a baby grand, because that's what he always used... and there was actually one right down the hall, but there was no way to get it on that little stage, especially in the amount of time we had to set up. maybe next time.
are you serious? I know it's no where near perfect--we could have done better...but I wish you'd tell what you personally didn't like about it...unless you were just drunk when you wrote that, then it's all good.
Awesome cover of it. Most videos I've seen of people trying to cover Ben Folds (five) really screw it up and end up degrading it. You guys did a nice job of it. 5 stars! :p
Not an easy song to cover. This was better than I thought it was gonna be. Nice jorb.

Oh... and the bassist is pretty stinky. Honestly, the other two did well for the 60 minutes of practice they put in.... But the bass....

Looks terribly under-rehearsed. Not necessarily untalented...

I guess I'll try and respect your opinion. As advice for the future, don't be so rude when you express what you think.
