  • @Yearofdelena115 Thank you. Appreciate capitalism :D

  • Check out my rendition of vigil from mass effect!

  • i wish i was as good composer as James Horner is :( :)

  • Capitalism is not a system it is the right to live and do what you want. You poor bastards will understand one day. Welfare is a drug that is hard to get off of and I hope American will be able to get back to what it once stood for. And you others who think America is not the best country in the world plz ask yourself "How am I even arguing with this other person? oh ya the Internet......oh ya the internet was made by the USA government" bitches =D

  • @TheCortint i like the way you think... lmfao <3

  • @notenufdaka cuz u all talking bout that prick

  • Its my favourite movie I saw it more than 19 times :)

  • Let me say how special all Avatars music is and i fell in love with it and the movie ( which i have watched 53 times) ty so mush for the sound tracks Caelestis please keep them up!

  • @notenufdaka because all of u talking bout this prick

  • this soundtrack makes my heart bleed.... AND FOR THE LOVE OF GOD SHUT UP ABOUT CAPITALISM AND THE USA!

  • @dumalucky when the opposite is true these rigs would be the same as artificial reefs, for energy we have the largest natural gas deposits in the world! So the notion that we went to war for oil is laughable. If we were just war mongers well then why are there still other nations in the Americas we woulda conquered them long ago. So I ask you why would we attack ourselves plz respond with a reasonable answer and not conspiracy theories with no basis in reality

  • @Gorilder oil isn't the world you're right. but with Helium-3 all our energy problems will be clear

  • @MOnSTER31415 i live in a country of morons, Belgium(the most retarded goverment in human history, we recently broke the world record for longest time period without a goverment) and now that we finaly have one, the prime minister cheated, he didn't even recieve half the votes and the guy who did wasn't even included in the goverment, this dude, decided it was time to shut down the safe nuclear power plants, windmill parks and resort to gas&oil for energy, I hope he burns in hell!

  • @dumalucky wow are u serious. Let me ask you this why the hell would we attack ourselves? Why would we destroy our tallest buildings and terrorize our largest city? You think its for OIL?? Let me inform you that Oil prices have only gone UP not DOWN as one would expect from us getting more oil from the mid east. Secondly the US has its own oil off our own shores. We aren't mining them because a group of people say that it'd be destroying the environment..

  • This is my favourite of all the soundtracks! My 2nd favourite is Jake's First Flight.

  • even a little "troy"

  • I can hear a little "enemy at the gates" and "land before time " in this :)

  • 4:14 - 4:39. this part sounds like the dark knight movie soundtrack.

  • great Film! Fantastic.. Really about US imperialism fucking up this world!

  • Great Film! Really about USA imperialism screwing up this world!

  • @Llortsaccount you really need to learn when to use capitals

  • Emotions, love, harmony i think that is what the most ppl lost. But they need it more than money or other commercial things by the thriving industry. Wake up fellas.

  • ich liebe diese Musik, wirklich schön! der beste film-soundtrack überhaupt!

  • avatar 2 not coming before 2014......... :(

  • @TherealBegave I can wait that long!!!!! I´ll be 15 and not interrested in fantasies like this

  • @alicecullen175 dude i watched this movie when i was 16 and now i cant wait till next comes.

Don't think you won't like this kind of films if youre 15, age doesn't matter. if you liked the first movie when you were 11 then you will like the next one when you are 15 too.

  • @joostinatortje I hope I still am interested in it, and not in shitty boyfriends -_-

    P.S. Im 12 :P

  • @alicecullen175 lol i bet you are more interestet in boyfreinds if u get older^^

  • @LeifErickssonable i sure hope not

  • @TherealBegave wow really? that's so looonnnggg!

  • I fall asleep to the avatar soundtrack every night, it makes me feel so calm :)

  • @letthembefree same here mate haha :D

  • @letthembefree

    yes my to so great

  • Respond to this video...

    i have the dvd

ant i play it 100 times yet so nice

  • Pleaseee somebody can tell me where i can dowloald this song in this high quality?? i find anothers but is not the same sound T_T

  • almost every time i watch this, whenever i stand up-i feel taller, haha, this was such a meaningful movie, my most fave movie of all time

  • the graphics and the 3d animation techniques in this movie are amazing but the story is like the movies Pocahontas and Fern Gully had a baby and named it Avatar

  • @gearworks4905 story is weak true, but the movie is about discovering a new world, not the story like most films ^^ most people keep focussing on the story while it's about the animation, animals, world, visuals basically

  • @elvenwoor i agree that this movie was all about the graphics and the techniques used and i can fully appreciate things like that, however i would have still liked a better story personally. If i had to rate this movie it would be 6/10 for story, 10/10 for music, and 15/10 for graphics lol

  • @gearworks4905 can't argue with that ^^

  • DAMN IT i wish the marines/hired guns would of won instead of the traitors of the human race and the Na'vi

  • @USMCCptKennedy

You are a troll and I like that. I hate the marines while I make thousands of dollars in your country like my hero-James Cameron while the marines live and die on welfare.

  • @kursdima uhhh..there are no words at all just "aaaaaaa~ aaa~ aaaaa~ aaaaaa!!~ aaaa~" that's all, no words

  • WOW

  • @kursdima Its not in english.

  • Awesome music, CGI... and that's about it

  • I fell in love with this movie. And now, 1 year later, nothing has changed!

  • THUMBS UP IS: Avatar is number 1. In 2014 Avatar 2 will be awesome. Jake Sully is hot. Neitiri is hot too.. Neitiri is also 2 italien words putted together: Nei Tiri. That means "In Throws" The music of this film is more awesome of any other film. Justin Bieber VS Avatar = J.B dies! James Cameron is the new "Einstein" Leona Lewis is awesome. James and Leona must win the oscar "BEST MOVIE IN THE ALL WORLD, + BEING THE MOST INTELLIGENT PERSON." THUMBS UP GUYS IF YOU THINK ALL THIS!!
  • @ooooopiuhgfvdxcsdxfd where do you bring justin beiber into this? and no im not going to thumps up the coincidence that two italian words make up a name in avatar..i dont give a damn about leona lewis, and because you asked..im still not going to thumps up..

  • wow look at the two top comments

    bit of a difference

ones philosophical and ones well thinking the same as me

  • I am so sad that the marines lost

I wanted them to win even if they were "doin it for the money" so does Blackwater and I don't hate them. But still you cant speak for all the soldiers who enlist they all have their own reasons.

So Semper Fidelis Col. Quaritch and the brave men who followed.

  • avatar opens our eyes to the world around us and shows us that at one point our own earth was a beautiful oasis like pandora destroyed by its enhabitants. avatar shows every one what this world could be like if we stop taking its resources and let the energy be returned to eywa and the balance of life

  • Brilliant movie i saw 13 times in theaters and one of the best movie experiences of my life in both 3D and 2D. Sure Cameron did borrowed from Star Wars, Dances with Wolves, Dune, Fantastic Planet, Ferngully, Nausicaa (aka Warriors of the Wind), Starchaser Legend of Orin, LightYears, Princess Mononoke Mononoke, Castle in The Sky , Willow, Enemy Mine, Star Trek movies, Totoro, Wizards, Little Big Man, Atlantis, Heavy Metal, Last of the Mohicans and star Trek movies but it was brilliant

  • @Johnlindsey289 Just out on interest what exactly do you think it borrowed from Starchaser besides mabye the design of the horse-like creatures? Or Willow?

  • @MythicDude

Well both Starchaser and Avatar are Sci-fi fantasy epics with similar horses, a similar kind of planet jungle with plants that shut themselves, the technology, people being pushed by a tyrant which Quatrich is like Zygon and a young man to be a messiah to a group of people. For Willow similarities there's a similar scene where Willow is in the forest being captured then surrounded by fairies flying around him similar to what the tree spirits in this movie did on Jake.

  • @Johnlindsey289 hmmmm I see what you mean about Starchaser.

  • @Johnlindsey289 John u talk to much

  • I'm of the few people who thought the blue cat monkeys were ugly.

  • @TheWizardTrembyle

They look like Thundercats don't you think?

  • GOD this movie was EPIC.

  • I am on the side of humans. Die, blue bitches.

  • "One life ends, another begins"

  • 1:56 totally AWESOME! gives me the creeps and yet I love it!

  • Hans Zimmer would've done a way better job.

  • @TheLonelyForce

Not really. Zimmer's music is very much...the same. Horner does better with musical diversity, which is pretty much required for this movie.

  • umbelivable

  • Worthless film. Plagiarism aside, it's simplistic, reductionistic, and unbelievably manipulative, and the way that it handles the issues that it presents is just sickening.

The next time that you watch it, try turning your brain on for longer than two seconds; you might (assuming that you aren't too far gone) see it for the sham that it is.

    Then go outside.

  • @StellarJetman

Nonsense. My brain is turned on, I promise, as were the brains of the majority of film critics, who enjoyed it. It's fabulous entertainment if nothing else. The message is "simplistic" because it doesn't need to be anything else. Not every movie needs to make some complex philosophical statement to become not "worthless," nor are those that do so inherently better than those that don't. This film accomplished exactly what it set out to do, and that's plenty.

  • @StellarJetman The plot is jacked, yeah, it's been used a bajillion times. But the imagination & creativity that went into creating the world of pandora and all the interactions that take place is what makes this film amazing. The creativity of the world is what makes Sci Fi Sci Fi. It's probably the most Malleable genre in exsistance.

  • @Thebluebridgetroll

I don't mind the unoriginal plot at all. I mind that it's told unoriginally, that its morals are patronizingly heavy-handed, and that it purported to be a completely new "experience" when I'd seen literally everything in it several times before.

And, if you think that any creativity went into Pandora, you aren't very well-aquainted with science-fiction. Or Earth itself, for that matter.

  • @StellarJetman

Indeed and Cameron was inspired by the film of Ghibli and Heavy Metal Magazine (aka Metal Hurlant) for the world of Pandora

  • @StellarJetman Alright: Let's see you come up with a plot that hasn't been seen in one form or another a couple hundred thousand times. After 6000 years of civilization, give or take a century, man has pretty much been reduced to recycling old plots. Why? After 6000 years of civilization, we have pretty much thought up what there is for man to think up. This is Dances ith Wolves-in-space. The Last Samurai is Dances with Wolves-in-Japan. Things get recycled. Get over it.

  • @Terran123rd

    >Alright: Let's see you come up with a plot that hasn't been seen in one form or another a couple hundred thousand times.

I don't have to, and neither does Cameron. I don't mind old stories at all; I mind old stories told badly.

  • @StellarJetman

I know what you mean and since your 28, there is some Thundercats elements in this movie that every kid of my generation knows. Sure what if Cameron did borrowed from Last of the Mohicans, Dune, Heavy Metal, Ferngully, Fantastic Planet, Castle in The Sky (Laputa), LightYears (Gandahar), Princess Mononoke, Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind (Warriors of the Wind), My Neighbor Totoro, Willow, Starchaser Legend of Orin, Star Wars etc. but it's great in it's own right.

  • @StellarJetman

I know what you mean and since your 28 (80s/early 90's kid like me) you probably remember Thundercats and did Avatar at times reminded you of that show? same kind of cat-like humanoids only they all look like Panthro's relatives and Neytiri maybe sexy but has no match for Cheetara.

  • When I was lying there in the VA hospital, with a big hole blown through the middle of my life, i started having dreams of flying....i was free....

  • love avatar <3

  • Il never forget 18 december 2009 when I watched AVATAR for the first time(sure it had its own typical parts) but the night that I saw avatar man...... will follow me to the grave

  • Great film.. really about US imperialism fucking the people of the world

  • @dumalucky james cameraon stated himself that the movie is about the balance of nature and how to respect the living world around you. and he's brought up alot of touchy topics with it too

  • @dumalucky its actually Pocahontas with different names

  • @yverodagny Oh I dont think so..

  • @dumalucky

No, it's not. The message is about imperialism fucking the people of the world, regardless of which country is doing it. The US is hardly the only country in history to have done so nor will it be the last. It's a universal message. If you limit it by restricting it to one country, then half of the message is lost.

  • @pa112358TRICK The US is the most proactive and powerful imperialistic government in the world. No other country has invaded other countries and killed as many innocent people over the last 60 years. The US stands out by a mile. The USA has also invaded almost all other countries by stealth, using economic muscle and sanctions, bribary, corporations, propaganda/culture, blackmail, and covert terrorist operations.

  • @dumalucky

I'm fully aware of this. It's also not the point. End Imperialism is the point. And not only that. For example, the Belo Monte damn. This movie was practically made to protest that. And it has nothing to do with the US. Bigger picture....

  • @dumalucky Two words. Prove it.

  • @cabbievonbump24 words. I dont need to.. imagine how any people are clicking my comment down.. yet still it is at the top! No piss off jerk :-)

  • @dumalucky I wouldn't limit that to only the USA... It's just Human nature. Yes, it's sad.

  • @zMinybuddiez icaptalism is ofc human nature... but the point is USA got most of it.

  • @zMinybuddiez

    hahahahaha, you made my day...

  • @dumalucky

Your reply to "cabbievonbump"'s and the fact that your unfounded remark is rated one of the top conveys two unequivocal things:

    1. you have little to no knowledge about international occurances in the past or the present (since you fail to corrborate your statement with sheer facts)

    2. most of those who view comments confirming their viewpoint aren't afraid to strengthen their bias, so to speak.

Learn something about politics before you reiterate such a hackneyed phrase.

  • @MrJs1G My spelling is not so good.. But really old chap.. Do try a bit harder. This is the correct spelling of some of the words you use ( Occurrences corroborate). As for your comments..? They are far too stupid and ill conceived to warrant any decent reply. I think perhaps you are a simple minded man that overstretches his limited intellectual ability. Anyway.. at least you made an attempt.

  • @dumalucky

Again, no real substantive points. Are you simply ignorant and feign knowledge (i.e. like a high school kid) or are you seriously that retarded?

  • @MrJs1G Well to be honest.. writing about US imperialism would take up quite a bit of space in these small boxes, or have you not noticed the limited size ? :-).. But just as one example from History.. Have you not studied operation Northwood? In fact all who read here should take a look at that document :-).. By the way.. your comments still dont really add up in terms of the most simple logical thinking.. This shows you have a relatively low IQ or are a 'shill'

  • @dumalucky

What? You claim that the evils of US imperialism are so nefarious as to be reflected in the movie, yet you rant on about atrocious domestic issues...?

As for the latter part of your rather asinine statement, you can claim something (e.g. I'm "illogical") but you must explain "why" you believe that. So, if you wanted to prove this, you would have to provide evidence (e.g. quotes) corroborating my illogic.

Now that you mention ON and the vids you have favorited, it's unquivocal...

  • @dumalucky

that you're simply another one of those 9/11 "Truthers". Child, please -- you've been dismissed by all serious intellectuals and the theories (inc. the psychological state of you folk) have also been debunked. Message me for the appropriate studies.

  • @MrJs1G Listen.. dont need to waste my time talking to a bullshit, lying fuckwit shill . Ok so forgive the frank reply.. But really you are worthless in terms of any debate.. Go lick some picture of a naked G.i.s cock. like you normally do.. and lets leave it at that :-) Ok buddy :-)

  • @dumalucky

Such a fatuous response. There really is nothing one can do with an irrational mind. You know how dishonest you are in order to affirm your views; have fun being immersed in such ignorance.

  • @MrJs1G Like I said .. take a hike dick brain.. ... To anyone else who reads this.. this dickhead said that Operation Northwood.. ( A verifide historical document that proves the USA planned to kill its own citizens in terrorist attacks and then blame Cuba in order to convince the US Public and the World that the USA would be justifide in invading Cuba) is nothing more than a 'domestic issue' Ha ha.. proves Mr Js1G really is an evasive lying Prick :-)

  • @dumalucky

What's with the ad hominem attacks? They're the final bastion of an argument.

Okay, again, explain your conclusions. Your premises may be true but that doesn't logically follow that your conclusion are true (the definition of a logical fallacy).

You claimed "Avatar" reflected the theme of US imperialism; however, you've yet to articulate any type of connection, let alone any examples.

  • @MrJs1G Honestly.. You are not worth talking with. You are a trickster, A lying toad, Someone who does not want the world to continue to learn what the USA is really all about!.. Its that simple.. But I will post and ask those who are interested in Avatar to look up 'Operation Northwood' 'Zietgiest the movie' 'Alex Jones' ' Architects and engineers for 9/11 truth' and guess what. I will go to every Avatar post on youtube and make my comments about USA imperialism :-). The young will learn :-)

  • @dumalucky

Way to avoid all of my points and continue on with your ad hominem attacks. You've addressed none of my contentions and have no shame in claiming the moral high ground, despite not responding to most of my points. I've invited you to message me about what science has to say about such conspiracies that you so shamelessly believe (i.e. based on no evidence), yet you've yet to do so.

I've wasted my time responding to such unadulterated tripe. We're done here.

  • @MrJs1G Peaple like you should be interned for the sake of society.

  • @MrJs1G there are well over 1300 ( growing) mature international respected professional Architects and Engineers who are responsible for the safety of us all that have formed an organisation to educate the world with scientific studies, research and lectures to prove beyond any reasonable doubt that the twin towers and building 7 were brought down by explosives. and that does not include the circumstantial political evidence! 1300!! and growing!

  • Comment removed

  • @dumalucky

And again, so what? The US gov't kept altering the reasons for invading Iraq; political pandering to the public. It's nothing new, definitely not some unfounded and scientifically dismissed conspiracy theories.

You've also failed to message me in order to see the scientific evidence counter to your position (since links are a pain to post here in the "Comments" section). Are you afraid (or perhaps even certain) of your position being false?

  • @MrJs1G Oh come on!.. there are well over 1300 ( growing) mature international respected professional Architects and Engineers who are responsible for the safety of us all that have formed an organisation to educate the world with scientific studies, research and lectures to prove beyond any reasonable doubt that the twin towers and building 7 were brought down by explosives. and that does not include the circumstantial political evidence! 1300!! and growing! respected professionals

  • "In the 22nd century, the population of the planet had more than tripled since the previous century. Due to pollution, famine, poverty, and war, the population had topped out at around 20 billion people. The Earth is now a decaying world, covered in a haze of greenhouse gasses. Anyone left out in the open or in the cities, must wear oxygen-replenishing cleaners, called exopacks, over their faces just to survive one Earth day. The less fortunate are left on their own. "

  • Thank you uploader for uploading in stereo ... so many other uploaders who actually update MUSIC in mono! Do they not have ears?

  • Brilliant movie! seen it 12 times in theaters and one of my best movie going experiences of my life. Anyone who loves this should read the Dune books and even watch the Dune movies, Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind and Princess Mononoke.

  • @tunkunrunk

Well he was influenced by Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind which is an excellent Japanese animated masterpiece when he saw it in 1992 on video and of course Frank Herbert's Dune books.

  • I love this track...

  • And with this song, the adventure begins.....

  • i used this for my figure skateing :D

  • FUCK I LOVE THIS MOVIE SO MUCH!

  • Wouldn't it be cool if Avatar 2 included RED Na'vi????

Just saying. Idk how it would fit into the plot (maybe a never-before-seen race of Na'vi) but it would be so awesome to see different colors in the film.

  • 1:49-2:00 is my favorite part since I can almost see Cryo

  • can't wait for Avatar 2 and 3!

  • @AvatarNm1fan

Same here, but we still have a bit of a wait. Avatar 2 is to come out December 2014, with Avatar 3 in December 2015. So James Cameron says. And the films are to be shot back to back.

  • @darthsugi89 they are making a second and third Avatar? sweet

  • @AvatarNm1fan

Shame they can't leave it at 1 very good movie, but have to make an 2nd and 3rd for the money...

  • @zwoej James Cameron actually confirmed he would make a Avatar 2 and 3, even before he had released the movie to cinemas

  • @zwoej Yeah but James Cameron has got serious skills... maybe he can actually pull this off without disapointing us. I mean just remember the lord of the rings trilogy: sequels are not allways bad :)

anyway its worth hoping that they will be as good as the first.

  • @AvatarNm1fan If you have watched the making of avatar, you will see it is not likely there will be any sequels

  • @mypotty290

They've confirmed 2 sequels months ago.

  • @AvatarNm1fan There probably won't be. There was too much money put into the first. If you like this genre of movie, check out Sci Fi books. Try The Sky People by S.M. Stirling & his sequel In The Courts of The Crimson Kings. They're amazing.

  • @AvatarNm1fan theres gonna be more movies????

  • @ILoveKira1209 Yeah

  • @bella1197 awesome. cant wait

  • @AvatarNm1fan Avatar 2 and 3? Hold on. Is that actually happening?

  • Pocahontus on crack.

  • While James Horner was composing this music I wonder if he was thinking, "wtf cameron i have to write music for a piece of shit story"

    just kidding. sort of.

  • If you want to know what James Cameron is doing now, watch this: youtube.com/watch?v=TKZ4RolQxec

  • This movie change my life !

  • Better than the movie 2012!

  • @michelsoetens agree

  • nigga i've seen this 42 times

  • Horner really sets the tone for the ENTIRE movie with this sequence, he encapsulates the whole story in 6 minutes... just amazing...

  • I remember this playing while there's a shot of the canopy of one of Pandoras forests at the first part in the film. I was immediately hooked.

  • I wonder, are there any other worlds

With a spark of life and intelligence burns?

Is it possible that, as you look up at the same stars

On a warm summer evening, or a snowy winter midnight

And wonder if humanity is alone in the universe

...At that same instant someone else on a distant world

Is looking up at the same sky

And wondering the very same question?

  • @millionhera22 watch the stephen hawking programs on here they'll answer some of your qus.. i think

  • @lukedeane99 I think no human being can answer millionhera22's question

  • @baxa1981 its a hard question to speculate on isnt it. i cant change what people think nor do i want to but i think that now with all these tecnical advances like the creation of anti-mater i think the answer the human race has been awaiting will become prevalent one way or another, 2bh im not sure whether i would want to know, more people would be hurt than pleased- id think that some would commit suicide or worse go on a rampage of hate, so my question to you is basicly what do you think?

  • @millionhera22 In the new blockbuster Avatar, humans visit the habitable -- and inhabited -- alien moon called Pandora. Life-bearing moons like Pandora or the Star Wars forest moon of Endor are a staple of science fiction. With NASA's Kepler mission showing the potential to detect Earth-sized objects, habitable moons may soon become science fact.

  • @millionhera22 Du kleiner Philosoph ^^

  • @millionhera22 If thats the case and we are alone. we better cherish and protect this microscopic grain of sand we call earth because thats all we have

  • @DBDMotorsports Amen to that!

  • @millionhera22

Be careful what you wish for, we could be attacked by some an advanced race from way beyond Alpha Centuri, with technology thousands of years more advanced than ours. The end of the Human race. Nah, but really, I always think the same thing. I do hope we are not alone in the universe and we do make "first contact" with another race someday in the future.

  • @darthsugi89 If aliens meet us, surely they would vastly superior to humans. I'm thinking they would have been able to manufacture a spaceship that can travel hundreds of light years. My main fear would be, if aliens traveled to Earth, they would feel the way about humans, as we feel about slugs.

  • @georginiou Wow, I had the same theory as you, there being more advanced Humans out there. But even if we did meet them, I think they would think we are out of line and meerly primitive desendants of them.

  • @georginiou Perhaps. But then, perhaps their superior knowledge (not intellect, but real knowledge) permits them compassion and understanding. Every movie we have ever created on Aliens coming to Earth includes either them enslaving us, or us killing them. This is straight out of our human minds.. A very insecure and aggressive race. Imagine if they were vastly superior to us, but very compassionate and infinitely patient.. What an encounter :-)

  • @TheInstinct005 You just described Close Encounters Of The Third KInd.

  • Comment removed

  • @georginiou Saw it when I was very young, but didn't understand it. All I remember is a dude trying to make something from his mashed potato.. I shall have to re watch it :-)

  • @TheInstinct005 I always hear about other species coming to explore us. What if we (thousands of years into the future) found a planet where life exists, and gained the technology to get there, to find a species that still lives in a sort of medieval age? How would we approach them, would we make contact with them at all? Will they cower in fear when we step foot on their planet or will they try to communicate? But more importantly, what would we do? Would we treat them like equals or animals?
