What a great, great voice and songwriter! It's so good to hear a folk /bluesy artist singing with this enormous voice! It's a wonderful change from just hearing many current female folk singers singing in wispery or breathy vocal styles.

I long for the days of the folk singers like Joan Baez, Judy Collins who's vocal styles have these lovely strong folk voices!

Beautiful song. It is always nice to see Venezuela making an impression in the minds of artists all over the world. You should definitely visit the country more often... there are endless sources of inspiration there. I myself am permanently moving there in the next year or two... I too plan to be writing a few books about the slums and rural aboriginal towns... about those who for generations have not been allowed to speak. Thanks for the song.
