  • My husband drives a Disco and I drive a Freelander. I love Land Rovers.

  • strano.. sarà per le gomme

  • My freelander is ace.I prefered it to my disco

  • Fantastic. Proper blokes experiment.

  • I think it did lock up, there is a little snow thrown up from the rear wheel on the far side, so that appears to be spinning in unison with the front wheel on this side. It seems that the traction control (if fitted) is not doing much though!

  • Looks like the VC on the Freelander didn't even become agitated enough to lock, so it was really just the front tires pulling.

Looks fun! Sometimes I wish we had snow here in So. Cal, but then again, no.

Look carefully - the rear tyres do spin up giving additional traction.

Also the "On Demand" traction system is from the 2009 models onwards.

This is an earlier model and therefore is full-time 4wd.

Nice result though, and definitely shows the importance of tyres.
