OMG this vid sucks, it doesn't teach you how to do anything in detail. there is no link in the description that tells you where to buy them and the dipstick even talks about using the wrong wire, then "highly recommends" using the correct wire but doesn't tell you what that wire would be..... why do idiots put up these "tutorials" when they don't fucking teach you anything.
do u think the led lights fromt he parts house would wire the same way? cause i got some blue one with a modded fan on top of the case i wanted to put in there check out my vids on here
hey can anyone tell me if i get like decoration lights (there like christmas lights but there 5 ft long) that runs on batteries, cut the part that connects the wires to the batteries, and connect the wires(there a positive and a negative) to the mother board. will it light up? i might try it its sounds like a stupid idea lol any experts or people who know tell me!!
hey i got 2x led strip in green for my 360 both wire are clear however one has a red stripe along it am i right in thinking that's the positive wire?????
@1sallison i beleive so. but since the leds are only 12 volts, it really wont make a difference if you wire it wrong. just wrap the wires around and do a quick 2 sec test run. turn on the xbox, if they light up, you did it right, if they dont light up, just switch the wiring, and there you go.
@CAGGames i dont think this is convenient. i dont know about price, but i do know that it take a lot more effort to do it your way than this way. i am not condemning it in anyway, i am just saying i think this method is much more effort less. its because you only have to wire one strip with this method, where as you have to wire each individual led for the other method. the leds arent expensive at all either. 3 dollars for a strip of 48 leds.
you could also solder into the 12 volt power supply where the power cord goes into so you dont have wires hanging all over you 360 .if you have a modded case you can run all your wiring under your motherboard and only expose what is needed. that how i did mine, it looks really good.

I was going to buy the LEDS individually and hook them up in parallel with a 470 OHM resistor. What do you think of this?
