I know this is a late post, but why were you selling your bunnies at 5 weeks old? That is far too young! The bunnies should just start getting weaned of their mother at this time, but will still need some of their mothers milk.. If you ever breed again, advice is to sell your bunnies at 8 weeks old!

Question? Ive had people tel me not to pick up a bunny by its stomach but to also support the hind legs because if they kick they could break their backs. Is that not true with babies? @ChiefOScience You think that bad, I used to have 3 rabbits, 1 died after having him for 2 weeks. He bacame ill and we took him to the vets. I admit, the vets told me he passed away a few days after we left him in and i cried like a baby in work (i'm a 33 year old guy). His name was nibbler. You really get attached to the little guys without even realising it.
