  • LEDs, in my opinion, are not suitable for house lighting. LEDs are more appropiate for flashlights or headlamps. CFLs are gloomy and give off awful light. regardless of how much energy incandescents "waste" the light is much better and more pleasent. there 100% dimable and they look nice.

  • @noreaga12326 LEDs are fully dimable also

  • I like CFLs lots better than LEDs.

  • On a serious note, this silly crap isn't helping the cause to get LEDs into the market for replacing the toxic CFLs. Screw the geey nonsense. Get rid of the geek and keep the dog.

  • the LEDs themselves can barely heat themselves, so no chance of explosion [when "burning out" they just go brighter and then die]

the rest of the stuff, if done right, sholdn't be able to even do sparks, let alone explode [even if abused]

if done wrong you ussualy are not alowed to sell it :P

  • can these led lights explode? like regular light bulbs when the over heat or about to die.

  • What they need to do (( and Listen Up LED Industry )) is have multi-selection of VARIOUS TONES OF WHITE - bluewhite tone they have is not warm - and not bright enough in thi bulb i have the same one

The ones in Europe are much brighter because of the extra LED inside.

They seem to have the colours corrected also

stuck with mercury CFL until people get sick Remember VHS & BETA ? Beta didnt sell at all... if you can buy LED & Tell them what we want, then cost goes down and everybody wins

  • yes

  • $50....

  • There is no real difference, you just think that....

  • dogs color blind rite?

  • LOL

  • i dont think their color blind i think they just see darker then us

  • LEDS are the way to go it is proven many years ago, price is a limiting factor though.

  • Cool stuff, I don't know why because I have been watching you for a while, but I just remembered seeing you on techtv. lol

  • I have been waiting for LED bulbs to be available in US stores rather than just on the net...do you know if the lights are pulsed or on steadily as they sip DC current?

  • Maan! You have so many cool little geeky toys! I wish I had some... I barely have anything cool.

  • Haha hes getting ripped on live TV

  • arnt dogs color blind? lmao

  • i put a multi color led and a eprom in my optical mouse and took the original red back light out and put the led and eprom in and soliderd it in and now i have a multi color mouse and the good thing is the mouse is almost 100% clear

  • yes, he never bother, bad !

  • That is indeed cool! I have replaced my MediaRoom lighting with led GU-10's. I have to check this out for sure! Thanks, my-man!

  • DOGS R COLOR BLIND> the night bulb is sweet

  • I don't think wicket can see that because dogs are colour blind?

  • when he dims it or switches colors the light can get brighter or darker and they can tell that.

watch a black and white movie sometimes and u can tell the difference in light.

  • why do you watch it

  • sweet
