@fishyer777 my dad started teaching me chords and stuff when i was 5 (i didnt play much then) then he taught me "crazy train" when i was 10 and i started playing everyday lol
i pretty much learn more about guitar by figuring out songs, and this has been going on about 5..6 years i think:)
@joshwithguitarinhand Your amazing and lucky. I couldn't afford a guitar until recently it will be 2 years in august. Have any tips that could help me out?
@fishyer777 thanks dude! hmm, well when you learn a a challenging song, play it ULTRA slow, rediculously slow, just to get the timing and stuff smoothed out. I cant tell you how ppl i see at my school who play half a song super fast, lose timimg when it gets to the hardpart and...well, its just all over the place haha. stretch your hands alot, metronomes help, keep fingers relaxed, learning scales would be a good idea too, i don't know scales but i wish I did. challenge urself
@joshwithguitarinhand Thanks man I will be sure to try all of that. I don't have a prob with timing at least (I play trumpet in band). I also have one question, I was wondering if you still knew "To be scared by an owl" by Alesana because if you did I would REALLY love a tutorial its one song I've been wanting to learn for a while
@fishyer777 I forgot some of it but I can relearn those parts, alot of people have been asking for that too so I'll be making a tutorial in the near future for sure!
If I learn how to make tabs would that be good too? cuz Ive also been thinking about posting the tabs, unless a tutorial would be better
yeah tabs would be great haha
