  • Richard Dawkins is Agnostic, LAWL.

  • Wow, this is what you call evidence? Thoroughly referenced as per usual I see. Peer reviewed and independently verifiable to boot; up to all the usual measures in true theist fashion. You know what I’m going to drop all that learning I did and just blindly believe in Sky Daddy, so I can get me a piece of that heaven I hear tale about.

  • Clap trap from beginning to end.

  • Even if this video is true - which is unlikely in itself - the professor's still been successful 19/20 times. Those are pretty low chances for theists.

  • I reject this weak video, and I reject your weak AmericanAllRejects

  • This is complete bullshit. No professor would be teaching for a month if they acted in this manner. No professor that is an atheist would ever challenge to prove god does not exist. All atheists know trying to prove a negative is a fools errand. That is clearly made up, and if god were real you wouldn't have to make believe god exists. This story in itself is an example of how religion teaches people to be dishonest, but if is in the name of their god lying to one's self and others is fine.

  • @gearhead2k6

Evolution is unrelated to atheism, so there goes that point.

Even if that were true, there is no book entitled the theory of evolution.

Even if there were, theory is the highest scientific classification of an idea.

Let me ask you about another THEORY, germ theory; The theory that microorganisms are the cause of disease. So I ask, do you think that germs really do cause disease, or do you go with the previous guess, demons?

  • You see, there's two variables, how hard the chalk hit the ground, and the fact he said if god is real, then this chalk will not break....

  • I like how atheists ask for proof, while their only proof is a book titled, The THEORY of Evolution. Hmmmm...

  • LOL

    that is all

  • You said in the story that the professor had "impeccable logic", so why are you arguing for the view point opposite his? You are basically saying "I don't care what makes sense, I'd rather believe in my magical sky wizard and his chalk-based super powers".

  • chalk doesn't shatter into a hundred pieces when dropped...

  • Oh nooooooo LOGIC! Let's put our faith in a piece of chalk!

  • so what if the story is fake or not? itz the message it is saying that is important. god bless everyone. if u dont believe in him bt he believes in u. if the world does end then i hope u all r in heaven. bt i fear not all of u will.

  • This is so retarded it hurts. There is no good in the bible that a reasonable person could not figure out for themselves. All you support is the evil that the bible is full of and the atrocities that so many churches commit. If you want to do good, that's fine. Do so through non religious groups that actually make a fucking difference.

  • Oh yes, of course. Because it makes perfect sense that a college would let a professor make a "God doesn't exist" class, and then force students in a particular major to take it....

I'm sure that wouldn't have made headlines or anything....

  • @pngwn56 That's probably not the class you tard, it's probably psychology. DUH. Anyone could have figured that out. I'm sure it's not that hard or anything....

  • @lilzobel

Oh yes, the infamous psychology class that has the main purpose of disproving god. Because how the mind functions is inherently related to the existence of God.

In any case, such a class would have made headlines, and this video has no proof. It is simply a list of claims, unverified, untestable, unsubstantiated claims. By all means, if you have proof, provide us with some.

  • Comment removed

  • @lilzobel

    Ironic...

It is up to the one claiming that something is real to provide proof it is. Surely I can't make up a story, and expect you to believe it.

If so, then why can't I make a video in which this same situation happens, except the chalk shatters at the end.

And while I am nearly certain you are lying about knowing people who have taken this class, please prove me wrong. Tell me the class name, the college name, and the professors name. Surely the "people you know" will know.

  • Comment removed

  • @lilzobel

Fine, don't post their names, just post the college name, the teacher's name, and the class's name. Otherwise, you have no proof of this.

You not being the only one to say it is real is irrelevant. There are more than persons who say that the Hindu belief is real; it does not make it so.

I'm not trying to justify anything. I've made no claim. You claimed it was real, and even claimed you have proof. The burden of proof lies on you.

    Why would lying be stupid?

  • Comment removed

  • @lilzobel

It's fine if you know you are telling the truth, but I don't. Don't expect me to believe you because you say you are telling the truth. If you aren't looking to convince me, then why do you continue to respond?

I don't care about your life, I care about your claim. Your claim needs proof. You have provided none. Ergo, your claim is baseless.

And yes, the burden of "non-proof" lies on me. Which means that I don't have to prove it. We both agree on that.

  • @pngwn56

    but I don't believe you*

    Lol

  • @pngwn56 I don't care if you don't believe me, I don't need to prove anything to you.

  • @lilzobel

That leaves the question on why you felt as if you needed to respond three times...

A failure to respond is concession.

Unless you back up your claims with the name of the professor, class, and university (which are in no way deeply personal questions, and so there is no need to withhold them), then you have conceded that you have no evidence, and that your claim is invalidated.

  • @pngwn56 You're still replying too, tardface. lol I had to reply to say that. And I swear you are stupid, I told you I don't have to tell you anything. =P And how old are you anyways? The way you talk is frickin' annoying, like an 80-year-old athiest or something.

  • This is not a true story, it's an urban legend.

  • too bad the professor didn't say "if god exists, he'll feed the 25,000 kids who will die in Africa today from starvation. Such a simple task if he's actually god."

  • Well if there is one thing about theists, it's that they have such an inane ability to tell stories that have no bearing in reality whatsoever, and have thousands of people just eat it up without bothering to question where the stories came from.

This is a MADE UP story. It never happened. It's an urban myth. Look it up! Please stop eating up everything people tell you just because you WANT it to be true. Seriously.

  • You people are so gullible.

  • To embrace a deity is the same as run from the truth, because believe in a after life is very comforting, right?

  • or option 3, realize this is christian propaganda (and bad propaganda at that) and continue to live on. You don't need any type of god to be a good person, you just have to find your humanity.

  • I'm not convinced,

    god bless atheism!

  • @fabybou Personally, I love how your not convinced but yet you say "God Bless".

  • @TheMaddieSimps Woah, you're right! They set themselves up for that one! (not trying to appear as mean). lol

  • This video is not fake. Clearly it displays white text on black with music in the background. The story however makes little sense. No actual atheist would abandon all his beliefs because he clumsily dropped a piece of chalk. And no all powerful God would waste his time doing parlor tricks. Grow up children.

  • God is real - if you can't deal with it, have fun during the rapture! :D

  • @TabiiTellNoTales and when exactly is that, because if it doesn't, i am right. if it does, all the christians are gone. win win situation

  • @21delusions

    God bless your soul.

  • This is fucking fabricated, its only here to brainwash even more people to Christianity. "I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ."- Ghandi.

  • so true

  • This is mostly fabricated, obviously :P It makes sense that a similar event has happened and that this is what it's based off of though. This video is intended to inspire people, of which it has done to me :)

  • i saw this on fb tht my friend posted and thought,"what's this?" i watched it and was heart broken ik tht in the world there's probly parents or teachers like this :/

  • ...the professor ran out of the classroom after it rolled off his shoe? I just imagine that and can't stop laughing! Think of your professor running out of class in terror of being wrong. A lot of it seemed like a stretch, but something similar might have happened. The only problem I have with it is that I don't understand why the chalk wouldn't break falling 3 feet onto his shoe but my iPod Touch will shatter from falling 2 inches. Doesn't add up, guys.

  • I will admitt this story looks fabricated, but it's not forcing anyone to worship God. It's meant to tell people that faith is powerful and to stick by your beliefs. Yes it's also saying that more people should believe in God and be good christians, but you don't have to get upset about that or feel like your being presured; you can choose to disregard the video. The point of the video is to inspire faith, there is no need to get offended. Also, this AAR song is great, so enjoy the music.

  • @hardhitlazy Although I am not an Atheist, I think Atheists have a right to oppose a clearly fake video,

  • @AbsoluteJake I agree

  • So what, just pick up the chalk and throw into the ground again.

such a simple task he could do twice easily. but no.

  • @zjhost Well a Christian obviously wrote this story, otherwise they would have looked deeper and thought of that lol.

  • OK, I watched your video. Will you provide more information, something that can be referenced? I just don't think in this particular society, the way atheists are attacked for simply stating their views, that anything like this would even happen. Also, whether or not a piece of chalk breaks has nothing to do with whether or not a particular god exists, the idea that a degreed man would use that argument is not believable. This story sounds made up.

  • lifeneedsmystery

i completely disagree with your post. god has done wonders for me through out my life. i wasnt raisexd to believe in god. i have went to various churches and never found one that i liked and felt part of the family. until i moved to lemmon........ then i found New Hope.... Pastor has helped steer me towards god and his grace. he has worked miracles in my life he exists........ can you prove to me that he doesnt? with every counter i can tell you why that is wrong

  • @Langleybaby There is no logical way to prove anything, which is why Skepticism wins.

  • this is right, we must spread the word of God!!

    stand up Christians

  • @bhannih110 No it's not, its pretty much a fake video.

  • @bhannih110 HAHAHAHAHAHA

  • even if this didnt happen doesnt mean its not an inspirational story. noone said you had to like it or watch it.

  • The plural of anecdote is by no means data.

    More importantly, Non Sequitur much?

  • Alright several things:

    1. Freshmen usually don't have professors their first semester of college. Usually have instructors while taking basic classes. He could have had credits, but usually this applies for the first four semesters anyhow.

    2. I seriously doubt that the Christians in the room wouldn't stand up for twenty years. If they didn't stand up, it shows they are cowardly.

    3. 300 people would stay in the room to listen to one guy talk about God when the professor talked on it all semester

  • @ImNotImpressed nothing is impossible !

  • Bro that thing is real

  • Too bad atheist professors are too busy educating people rather than wasting class time on religion.

    Three words: Christian urban legend.

  • lemme say one thing if all you people posting are atheist why are you over here looking for christian videos to smother with negative comments...if your atheist than just let everyone put a meaning to their lives instead of just live it and die

please if you dont like it dont watch it and we arent making atheist look bad we are just talking about change...change is when you go from one state of though or position to another and it never saids atheism is bad or is wrong in the video

  • Wow, what a terribly weak premise for a video. Yawn.

  • What a stupid video and a waste of 5 min. This story was obviously told by a religious person and carried on and twisted to fit the needs of ignorant religious people. Why can't theists preach there beliefs without propaganda? Its not like Scientists do that they just present facts but when it comes to religion the main goal is "Hmmm how can I trick someone into believing? Oh! I know! Ill make up a fake story to make what I'm saying seem true!" Any1 in here that believes in god really is a fool.

  • If god existed, youtube would have a 'fast forward' button for videos like this one. :|

  • AMEN BRO!! I WILL DEF PASS THIS AROUND! pretty cool vid!

  • Why don't we see faith healers going around healing people with polio?!?!? Oh right...BECAUSE SCIENCE FOUND/INVENTED THE CURE!!!!

  • Also, if god is awesome at showing "a true atheist" he exists through CHALK, then why can't he magically cure cancer, like those children who will die before they're 12? What about those children who are starving, being beaten, raped, murdered? Why can't this oh so "great" deity save a single child, yet the son of a bitch has the ability to make someone drop chalk. Give me a fucking break.

  • @SkelanimalKitteh there is a cure for cancer and one for diabities but the government does not want it released because it would loose billions in revenue. and the other stuff he gives us the option to do something about it and stop it. thats y its called free will we choose to do things because he lets us we could stop these things but we choose to ignore them and act like their not there

  • @SkelanimalKitteh

Have YOU tried praying for those people?

  • @SkelanimalKitteh because it was a simple task. task such as saving a life are much more difficult and require tons of prayer. I used to think there was no god and just thought of myself as having no religion. but because i tried to give god a shot, I joined a christian youth group and learned that beileiving in something other then yourself and your everyday life, like beileving in god, can make you a much better person. as to all religions try to lead you to become. RoP

  • So a random song that's overplayed and sucks and a coincidence that's supposed to make us believe that something impossible. Here's something interesting the writer of this story forgot to mention: Male professors wear shirts that are tucked in. Ergo, no chalk slipping down his shirt. What's even more unbelievable is that the chalk slipped through the waist band. Seeing as the majority of males wear a belt and wear pants that fit around their waist, that wouldn't work either. Epic fail.

  • What this proves here is that God is there and will make things happen if you have the faith and courage to believe in him. And that you have the courage to say you believe in him against all odds.

  • Hmmmm....kinda like what Hitler said...tell a lie loud enough, long enough, and often enough....and it becomes the truth...we seek out things that reinforce our belief systems, instead of looking for and having people in our lives who challenge us to think differently.

  • @scootkh

You are of course referring to how so many people believe the lie that God isn't real, right? It's been being said for at least two thousand years. Quite loudly not to mention frequently, I might add.

If that isn't what you're saying then I'm challenging you to think differently instead of seeking things to reinforce your beliefs.

  • @F4uX5ho IF there is a god (?) and IF this god(?) has spoken to us...then why does this god(?) not show up today and speak now? Why are the muddled, miscopied and bent writings of a nomadic, cattle, sheep and goat sacrificing middle eastern tribe considered relevant in todays world? SIMPLE its about power, control and resource extraction (read:money, gold, oil, lumber, etc) People are supersticious and willfully ignorant in the face of glaring facts and they are afraid of being different.

  • ill pick choice number 1 and pretend i never saw this

  • Without validation this amounts to nothing more than an "A man walks into a bar..." joke. Even if the chalk did roll off of the professor you have no way of showing that it was anything more than a coincidence; if the chalk rolled off of the professor then the chalk was obeying the laws of physics....... wouldn’t "god" be able to violate the laws of physics???

  • Okay, i honestly don't believe in this story. I have heard so many different versions of it. One of the stories was about the professor getting punched. well anyways, I have honestly never seen a piece of chalk break by just simply dropping it. These stories are all fake just to give the Christian faith a story and make it seem so awesome.

  • @PostITnoteGUY he knows, it is just a feel good story for some Ignorant Christians.

Don't get me wrong, I'm Christian. but still....

  • This was some stupid shit...so God let all the other people just get pulled away from him...b/c of some chalk...God let the Devil win all those other thousands and thousands of people....but not this one guy...and his other 299 classmates...this was dumb

  • This video presents a good reason to NOT follow a religion if this depicts why people believe in the first place.

  • All I have to say is, watch this /watch?v=zJ_nSVBIzbQ

  • i dont believe in god if you ask me it seems like "god" is just trying to tell you how to run your life and the christian religion says that jesus loves EVERYONE, when really the christian religion discriminates homosexuals, and all other religions that dont have the same beliefs as them and they say that nobody can live there life without commiting a sin and how nobodys perfect yet jesus supposedly never commited a sin when they say nobody can avoid, it so what makes him so special.

  • @skater74297 Jesus was the son of god. Jesus died for our sins so we would be forgiven for them. Just think about that. God gave up his only son for you and me! It unbelievable what kind of love God must have for us to give his only son to die for our sins so we may be forgiven, and all he asks for in return is for us to glorify him in every aspect of our lives. Is that really to much to ask from us? Jesus loves us so much that he gave his life so we would not burn for eternity in hell.

  • not that i think any one who doesn't believe in God will listen to me, but our father loves you and i'm sure he's either waiting for the right oppertunity to give you a sign or he just wants you to have faith.. but then again i have no idea what he has in store so just keep the faith and i love you

  • A cute anecdotal story, that is complete and utter fiction, kinda like the bible.

  • @Peturs86 the bible is not complete and utter fiction. it is actually proven by many that it is a collection of historical facts.

  • @TimothyRexStiefel847 Badly written, often corrected, and very contradictory facts....I'll take my science with a chaser of reality thank you...

  • @scootkh the bible does have a chaser of reality.

  • @TimothyRexStiefel847 REALLY??!!?!? Do tell...possibly some historical facts. Mostly a narrative about how brutal and abusive one tribe was to another. We've been doing this to each other for CENTURIES its about power, control and natural resources...thats it...religion has this obsession with female virginity, refuses to teach sex ed, and birth control and the states that promote that teaching have the HIGHEST rates of unwed/teenage mothers...

  • @TimothyRexStiefel847 The definition of stupidity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. Why do christians get beaten? Because the rod was made for fools and idiots...

  • One-This never happened. Ever. Two-sure, some effing college student prays once for a god-damn piece of chalk to not break, and it happens, but if millions pray daily for food because they are starving to DEATH then god's just too damn busy? yeah. fuck that.

  • @ItsEasyIfYouThink he did pray that the calk wouldn't break he pray for courage to stand up for what he believed in. Idk why people always argue against each others faiths and beliefs. besides what do you have to lose by being a christian or even believing in our teachings? nothing! if i'm right the i'm going to heaven if i'm not i lived a life trying to be the best person possible.

  • @TimothyRexStiefel847 "Idk why people always argue against each others faiths and beliefs" "The only reason "people" do that is because either "faith and beliefs" are being pushed on them, shoved in their face, ammendments are being forgotten, people are telling gays that they are sinners for being who they are, because "faith and beliefs" have no place in the public, or because people with power in America must have some association with Jesus to get elected.

  • beside those people praying for food more times then not get it from some religious group if not first hand then through charities. a majority of money given to charities are given by people of some sort of religious background.

  • @billecorgan well, in my opinion everybody has a choice but they don't just look at it as a choice. don't let your depression deprive you from God. maybe you have tried to go to church but you didn't listen very well and you haven't put the words in your heart. Sure we can't prove that God exist, but we can feel that God exist. God has a reason on everything that happens to us. I encountered so many hardships in my life but He never gave me a problem that I can't solve.

  • Comment removed

  • In my opinion, you do not have a choice to believe or not to. I wish I could believe in a God. I have had depression all of my life and many counselors I have spoken to, say it would be good for me. I have tried to go to church but the logic seems like BS. You cannot prove he exists, as well as you cannot prove he does exist. People need to stop arguing this one way or the other. And this stupid video...LMAO, HE JUST HAPPEN TO DROP IT IN HIS LONG SLEEVES! BIG FRIGGIN' DEAL! lol

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • @98blackgurl Eh, I could think of worse.

Also I won't feel anything so it can't be too bad.

  • This whole story just sounds made up. I can't help but think that the lack of evidence in this tale of events just shows the author's lack of commitment to the people he/she thinks she's trying to impress. What's really annoying on both sides of the fence is that neither Atheist nor Christian has any proof of the existence of a god. It is still more likely in this day and age, that god still exists in our minds because people in our society are still unwilling to take responsibility.

  • WAITAFUCKINGGODDAMNFUCKINGMOTHERFUCKINGMINUTE, goddammit!!!

A few years ago? FUCK that shit!!!

I heard this story told by a fucking MISSIONARY... BACK IN FUCKING GODDAMN 1989, goddammit!

IT WAS A FUCKING TEST TUBE, and someone saw it curve in flight as it fell, until hitting the shoe and rolling onto the godfucking goddamn floor! SO FUCKING DISCOURAGING I BELIEVED IT! Probably some of that Christian cookie-cutter shit lore stories like those fools who say Jesus's come back in 1988 shit!

  • @WildManChris2000 I just hope you find God's love one day, and I'm praying for you <3

  • @WildManChris2000 I just hope you find God's love one day, and I'm praying for you <3

  • why would god hate gays? thats my only problem....:/

  • @SuckMyLollipop76 He doesn't. If you read the bible you would understand. In it there are many times he goes to the houses of outcasts. The gays are the people he would come to hang out with. He loves everyone equally.

  • @SuckMyLollipop76

He does not hate you. He in fact loves you. He loves all of the people because they are all his children. He wants you to be in a relationship with a woman because he wants you to have a "fulfilled" relationship. He wants you to pro-create. He made a woman to be the perfect partner for man. I'm not saying that you are going to hell or anything like that. Or that I hate you, because honestly I don't hate you. I do pray for you though. Keep the commandments and you will be fine

  • @SuckMyLollipop76 God doesn't hate any human at all, he loves everyone unconditionally, especially those fallen away from him. Like a parent would love their child who rebels against them, all he wants if for you to come back to him. The only thing God hates is sin, but he loves the sinner all the same <3

  • @SuckMyLollipop76

God does hate gays. he hates the sin, not us. listen to the song "oh how he loves"

  • so inspiring, i wanted to cryy

  • Ok honestly if you don't believe in god then why did you watch this video and take the time to post a comment.

  • This sounds like a bunch of lies:p

    fail

  • It's a fake story. There are several versions of it. USC denies it ever happened. BTW, what's the professor's name? If it's true, why isn't he named? And where are the 300 students? Why aren't they out confirming the story? Because it never happened.

  • Wow really, a piece of chalk didn't break? God is the only reason for this! Give me a break...

  • Your story is incredible. I really don't see 300 people whom would chose not to stand up in a classroom sticking around to listen to somebody speak about their faith especially on the last day of class!! The last day of class is the day that people wanna get out on celebrate the end of the semester!! Secondly, there are more than 2 options. The option I have chosen to take is to realize that I did in fact watch this, and in effect, I have posted my comments to this video.

  • The moral of this story is too show that once someone stood up for christ the Lord would proove he is with us. This would then show God that we are worthy of his presence and the defined fact that he IS with us and will never leave us. Repent people ask him for forgiveness all of you claiming he is fake are completely wrong and you need a reality check. "Dvidarmo42415" you are completely wrong and you have no idea what you are talking about. Come the day where God shows us he is real you will c

  • No, i will not pass this on. It is yet another way for passive aggressive Christians to force their opinions onto others. Christianity, god, jesus do not need to be talked about in schools. Schools are for learning about math, reading, writing, the scholastics. there are churches for God. And, if I recall, it doesn't take but a moment for someone to silently bow their head and say a prayer. Why is it so important to others that it become a specific time to do so...why a spectacle?

  • God is alive, whether or not the chalk fell and broke. Im glad it didnt in that case, cause the Gospel of Jesus Christ was shared as a result.it took the boy 3 months of prayer till a break through.

    God be Glorified!!

  • Religion is like a D**k. Please don't whip it out in public and please don't shove it down someone's throat. It's just nasty! There is also this part of the bible that tell people to keep their prayers to themselves. If God truly did say that, then his most likely motive was to make sure that proud idiots like you don't ruin the face or appearance of his religion and discourage people from joining. Your just pushing people further away! Besides this story isn't true! look it up!

  • Sorry, not laughing. Don't care. Show me where this story is actually DOCUMENTED.

  • Take it for proof of your god if you will but that chalk was effected by gravity and the laws of motion only. If god wants to impress me he should reach down and make the chalk hover or bounce back to my hand with perfect elasticity or better. And just for the record when I die if there is a hell and a god that created the place because his ego is so delicate that he just can't take people not believing in him I will go there happily. That god is not even worth of my spit let alone my worship.

  • @beardedbeard it wouldnt be called faith then it would be called common knowledge

  • @beardedbeard

    So true.

  • LOL. This made my day. Didn't know how stupid Christians could be. This is the extent they would go to prove their pathetic religion? Funny stuff.

  • I saw this about 2 years ago, I sent it to a few of my christian friends but never thought about it again. Until yesterday. My friend was talking to me about how he's scared that he'll lose his faith when he goes to college. I had to find this video and send it to him. I really hope it will help him with his fears. This story is so amazing.

  • @cclynn1995

Yes, because your god couldn't do that for twenty years, and the one year that the chalk doesnt break coincidentally, the Christians faith is strengthened.

By the way, I dont think its very probable that the teacher would have ran out of the classroom, this story is a load of horseshit made by some ignorant xtian.

  • @ConclusiveRhetoric The moral of the story is u need to stand up for what you belive in... no one ever stood up and defended their belief so why should God show himself....

  • @cclynn1995 Although I will say this, it is inspiring and interesting, faith is good unless you turn it on other people and claim they are going to burn in hell for retarded reasons. Hope and comfort by a metaphorical father-figure is a good thing, but not when it is the main source of hatred in the world/slowing down science and the advancement of society. peace out.

  • @ConclusiveRhetoric God doesn't need to proove that he exists to an athiest.God stopped the chalk from breaking because the man had faith, he stood when no one else did.A lot of people don't believe in God or miracles, but I've never tried to shove my faithon anyone. I live the way I believe God wants me to, and I preach with my actions, and my life. Too many people use the name of God to justify their evil ways(hate crimes) A Christian's duty is to love others and live according to God's word.

  • If I had a nickel for every time I saw this Urban Legend on an e-mail...so now it's sent to me in the form of a YouTube Video. A very contrived and silly story designed to manipulate through guilt and fear

and make Atheists look like monsters.

The truth is you will find all shades of gray in most any group.

I have met all kinds of "Christians", those who apply the teachings of Christ to their lives and teach by EXAMPLE,

and those who send this type of manipulative trash around.

  • @lifeneedsmystery atheists make christians look like idiots by saying we believe in things we don't and the people who are christians that believe things that most christians do not atheists choose to set as an example also we don't try to make you look like monsters you do that pretty well yourselves

  • @lifeneedsmystery

If I had a nickel for every time someone discredited something for the way it's delivered instead of the message...

There are shades of gray in all groups. There are people who claim to be Christian but don't lead by example. There are Atheists who pray to God anyways. My very good friend was one. Now he's Christian, as am I.

Whether the story is true or not is irrelevant. The point is that as a Christian you should never be afraid to stand up and speak the truth.

  • @lifeneedsmystery

This isn't all that manipulative tbh, it is very thought provoking (which I suppose could be thought as manipulative in a very round about way) .. even if it is an urban legend, does that make the point any less valid?

Something to think about, not to manipulate :)

  • @lifeneedsmystery I don't know why you feel the need to wright this but I wanted to clarify something. This video is very inspiring to me and a lot of other people and I don't know if you are an atheist but I wanted to say this...how can someone believe that everything in the universe just happened? look at something as small as the detail and design of a butterfly or something as big as a mountain, or you could even just look around you and at pretty much anything that wasn't man maid and

  • @lifeneedsmystery just think about how it was made. It's just something to think about and also I myself know people who are atheists and I never tear them down. I simply try to build them up and tell them similar stuff to what I told you.....If you know christians who are treating atheists like monsters than they are not true christians

  • What was the name of the professor? when (date) Hopefully you will come up with verifiable information or you will be called another christian liar.

  • Not a true story. USC even has a disclaimer on its website that it never happened.

  • Its extremely convenient how even though thousands of students took this class over 20 years, and apparently, "Lived in fear," of him, not a single person can name the teacher...

This story is obviously a blatant lie...

  • @thebassiestbassist of course the story isn't real...doesn't mean that God isn't real. It's trying to get a point across.

  • @Laurenlzbeth

So its a blatant hypocritical lie. Just like everything else involving christianity

Why dont you believe in a real religion. Like one that doesnt say god loves everyone and then 5 pages later says he wants to kill all the homosexuals in its bible...

  • @thebassiestbassist not at all. I'm not going to argue with you. God loves you whether you believe that or not. Nothing can change that. And nothing can change the way I feel, or what I believe. You don't have to agree with it.

  • @Laurenlzbeth 1John 4;8 God is love. Love is not jealous. Exo. 34;14 ..........God is a jealous God. God cannot be love if one of his name is something that love is not.

  • @233yvan god is jealous in a different way than love jealous. he is jealous in a way that means he doesnt want his children worshipping idols instead of him because it hurts him when that happens. when he says love is not jealous, he means that a person should obsess over something they love until they smother it

  • @jonyboy43 Jealousy is Jalousy no matter what way it is produced. no love there.

  • @Laurenlzbeth God does not exist, It all man made!!

  • @Laurenlzbeth Yes it does means that god is not real if you make up this story, you are desperate b/c deep down you know that your making it all up.

  • Im sorry, but this story is obviously made up. Its extremely convenient how no one can recall the name of the professor even though hundreds-thousands of people, "Lived in fear," of his class for over 20 years...

Christians, you can have your faith, but dont make up blatant lies like this

  • I believe in God and I go to church every Sunday, but I still have doubts sometimes. But one thing that keeps me believing 100% is the world. Its too perfect for there not to be some kind of Deity. Even the human body and how it perfectly works together and how we were put on the Earth and it is such a perfect climate for us to live.

  • If anything..this made me more atheist........

  • I love this video. Im not a christian or anything like that. But this story amazes me everytime I watch it.

  • This is the dumbest video I have ever watched on youtube.

  • @Escadeus Can I ask why you think it's dumb?

  • Comment removed

  • lol make up more stories plz.... im curious how it could just slip right under his belt into his pants... interesting.

  • 81 people people are gonna go to heaven anyway.

  • this sounds just like a bible story. I've been going to church every sunday for the past 4 months and each time i go, i realize how much more false it is. I've asked "god" with all my heart to show me some kind of sign, and if he did I would dedicate my life to him, a sign that i could understand and know for sure it was him. yeah, not gonna happen. you guys have fun with your little confidence boosting imaginary friend, ill be over here in the real world.

  • @Davidarmo42415

Mark 8:11-12 The Pharisees came and began to question Jesus. To test him, they asked him for a sign from heaven. He sighed deeply and said, "Why does this generation ask for a miraculous sign? I tell you the truth, no sign will be given to it."

Matt. 16:4 A wicked and adulterous generation looks for a miraculous sign, but none will be given it except the sign of Jonah." Jesus then left them and went away.

  • @dlockcarr well if that's his answer then FUCK him. i dont want or need a leader like that, thanks for trying to "save" me, as much as i appreciate it, i dont want it
