@midgetman433 The PREAMBLE to the Constitution is the MANDATE for government to do the will of the PEOPLE. If the PEOPLE want to fund PBS (which I am certain the majority do) then government SHOULD fund PBS after a reasonable debate and discussion in the house of the PEOPLE known as Congress.

@ubuibiok It is ONLY broke because America has followed REAGANOMICS which is the FUNDING and PROTECTION of Corporate America by the taxpayers. EVERY YEAR HUNDREDS of BILLIONS of dollars go to corporations. And when a war is going it is TRILLIONS. I worked for the sixth largest US corporations that PAID NO TAXES AT ALL in the last four out of five years they were in business.

@ubuibiok ONLY because Reagan and every president since has given away the farm. Large corporations get a FREE LUNCH. Hundreds of billions every year of taxpayers dollars are handed out to large corporations. I worked for the sixth largest US corporation that paid NO TAXES AT ALL in the last four out of five years they were in business. THAT part of government surely IS broke. I support government by, for and of the PEOPLE like Abe said.
