@cyberjf2 I agree.The ps1 was overall much better, but this game was better in the SEGA SATURN.The SEGA SATURN had better versions of the 2d games that also came out on the ps1, but that was preety much it.I loved the SEGA SATURN, but for me, there will never be a video game system like the ps1 though.The ps2, master system, mega drive, nes, snes, saturn, and n64 were awesome, but the ps1 was unbelievable...for me of course.Peace ;).

i got this game and i put alot of time into it, i beat SP mode and everything on hard, imo Hard didnt even feel any harder, some tips for anyone playing or looking to play, if you have 1 character and the enemy has 2 or 3, YOU will fill your power bar faster, 1 hit from you is like 3 hits from them, if you do a locked combo where you spin around the guy punching him, its always best to have your aura on then you wont drain energy during the combo, you combo, knock them down and repeat. easy.

Im so proud that I own this game. The PSX version. My friend had the Saturn version. I wish the PSX version had the smoothness that the Saturn version had. Its so choppy...but the visuals are amazing. Also idk why they changed some attacks between both versions..id rather have Kienzan for Krillin instead of the attack he used to wipe out the Saibamen..but can't complain too much cos its a classic!

This game has some serious discrepancies.

1: While the concept of more than 2 people fighting at once in a DBZ game is EPIC, why does it happen ALL THE TIME?! Goku does NOT need help fighting Nappa as is, or Frieza after he goes SSJ.

2. Okay, so you get more Z points for adhering as close to the actual storyline as possible. That's fine, but with the format of this game, it's almost impossible to do so without simply forcing it, possibly causing problems as almost every enemy is a boss

i played this game on my playstation. it wasent modded so i had to do this ridiculous disk swapping. put in a normal ps1 disk. watch the screen from white go to black. switch the disk. listen for the disk to slow down. switch again and as it starts to speed up switch the disk again. then it would load the Japanese game.

this is one of the WORST DBZ games i ever played. i bought this at a store for $16, played it for one hour, and returned it. in multiplayer, you need a microscope to see anything! and theres no moves! everything looks like garbage! the ONLY, and seriously, the ONLY cool thing was that the disc was green and had a cool picture of goku.

@SHlNOBl3 well maybe we have different concept for fun but I like this game because the gameplay feels like you're watching the series, I mean lots of blows and you know, teleportation and stuff you gotta smack opponents to death all with that cheesy music and sound effects, all of this at a very fast pace. the other 2 games that got out for the ps1 (although I assume you got the saturn version for legends) didn't have that fast pace so that's why I like legends better, graphics don't bother me

i had the ps1 version and it didnt work on my ps3 so i played it on my ps2 and had to use swap magic. best dbz game though is definately budokai 3 and infinite world to me though. i dont like the 2d dbz games that much at all. i think that one dbz game, ultimate battle 22 or something it was called? i liked that game alot more then this one.
