Nothing wrong with this vid. It is what it is, a plasterer, plastering fast for fasts sake. You can tell he is a proper spread, just because in this vid he is rushing does not mean he will be doing that on site on a Monday morning.

Give the lad a break he isnt a one coat plasterer, his mate was only timing him on his FIRST coat. Thats why he was messy and using his trowel in the bucket. And using a plank on two crates is an old technique used by many plasterers, its light and easy to work with. The lads a decent spread, bit messy tho.

this vid makes me laugh. i would of done that fireplace and the sides and the 2 side walls in the time he done this,while also smoking the green,dude if your doing a hit,make it a big one then you will need 2 coats to give the time to finish it. otherwise 1 coat leave for 50 min then rub it up .THEN some water. THEN A HARD TRAIL. NO decorator wants a shiny wall. its up to you to convince the customer.25 years in the trade and im just about to retire to australia.. not bad for 36.

Taking it from the bucket just creates waste and a dangerous working area. The 'hating' on here is silly because first coats require a bit of speed - Its the second coat that matters most. 22inch Marshalls are only good for finishing not trowelling on I believe. Plastering is...EASY to learn but takes a while to get right! Especially if you want to charge! :)
