  • I realized I was holding my breath with my hands on my head watching him. I love climbing around on rocks but can't imagine doing something like that!

  • He made that look so easy from my office chair, I wouldn't have made it that far :) PS wonder if he ever retrieved his hat.

  • He looked real solid until I saw his right leg flopping around right before he fell.

It's very energy costly and difficult to balance having a limb dangling around like that.

  • Instead of "Are you okay?" all he got was "Did you get that?"

  • having done a litte climbing myself i get a funny feeling from watching this, damn scary shit xD

  • Amazing fall

  • Aaaaaaaaaaaaah!

  • He made it a lot farther than I would have. Actually, I wouldn't have even been there -- I'm afraid of heights.

  • Thumbs up if you were looking at the yellow balloon instead of him.

  • is that a ufo in the backround???????

  • @numberX1V Hahahaha

  • i would have shit in my pants :D

  • Hey everyone! Come watch some climbing porn I put together! Featuring a raw V10 raw dyno

    Your mother is fake.

  • @Calum2808 how?

  • Press 9, then when he disappears behind the rocks, press 9 again, and so on............

  • AWWwww.. he did not die as I expected to see ('cause this is youtube, where you can see people die)

  • I HAVE BEEN ROCK CLIMBING B4!!!!!!!

  • OMG I would shit out if that would happen to me..

  • ahahaha did u hear his death laugh..? wow.. :52 sec

  • he didnt fail hez still alive wtf

  • everyone is so calmed and having a good time.... and I would be like: Dude how the fu#* are we gonna get down from here. No way I'm going that way.

  • How boring. Isn't there an easier way to get on top of that rock? Try a helicopter.

  • @anaclet The irony... The helicopter would be the boring option.

  • @ThatsKickAss Yep, certainly a question of point of view.

  • @anaclet riiiight...

  • go to 0:52 to save 52 seconds of your life

  • Comment removed

  • At that altitude I would pee my pants.

  • Good thing you didn't hit your head. The only thing cooler than climbing without a helmet is bleeding out your skull dangling from the rope right?

  • @cyleriggs bad attitude

  • solid whipper, nice. is this sport lead or trad?

  • @azndragon11491 Trad.

  • i saw a fall like this in the last issue of climbing same route

  • Okay seriously I don't know how people do that, it's like impossible for me to even consider climbing up over 100 feet in the fucking air and fall and then just be swinging there I would literal pass out from fear.

  • slowest camera man ever haha

  • The safety line was there and that is great. I have friends that do the climbing. I love to watch them. They want me to get involved and I'm saying nope. I tell them, I want my two feet on the ground. I respect people that do this. I scuba dive and I have friends that have no desire to try that and I respect that choice too. Awesome video

  • If the route is clean, and there is no hazard for objects falling overhead usually helmets aren't worn. If you know how to fall which you should you won't smash your head on the rock either.

  • Well, as long as he didn't die, it's cool!

  • 227 people couldn't climb this rightside up if their life depended on it. Awesome climbing. Clearly the belayer/filmer dont really need to ask if he's ok, they would have heard a big crash if he hit something, plus people this technically advanced know how to fall, and there is a reason his cam is out that far and he swings out of view, in case he falls. Don't knock it if you don't know what you're talking about.

  • @sashajanfirst 228 now

  • Outstanding climbing for sure,

but not at all a big fall at all.

  • HOLY CRAB!

  • This is a climb called 'Kachoong' graded 21. It's at Mt Arapiles, near Natimuk in Victoria, Australia. An awesome climb btw, unless you fall off it!

  • another sport not for the faint hearted

  • 0:54 uraHREHGH

  • ironicly he aced the hard part.. And fuks up on the easy finish. This looks like S.Africa.

  • @TheSteve4200 This is the Blue Mountains in Australia.

  • @RaptorFactor5 ... Its Awsome!

  • @RaptorFactor5 No it isn't it's Arapiles.

  • Sorry I mostly wear a helmet out doors

  • I'm a climber and I don't climb out side frequently but when I do I wear mostly cause it's required but places indoor I never wear 1 cause it annoying and unneeded unless ur just starting then u NEED 1 plz if ur starting wear a helmet

I'm not telling 1 what to do just giving my opinion but over all love video and every 1 should try it it's a great sport

  • @DannelleBella What are you a bitch? Helmets are for bitches and whimps!

  • @gernomidy What a compelling argument. Thank you for your insight. By the way, were you by any chance dropped on your head frequently as a child?

  • Lol @ all the people who are obviously not climbers crying about him not wearing a helmet. Get to know something about the sport before you start telling other people how to climb.

  • @RaptorFactor5

'obviously not climbers'...? Obviously we must have learn't from qualified and accredited guides instead of attending the school of cool like you and your hotshot buddies. I've always loved the mountains and I intend to see a lot more of them in the future - I hope you do to.

  • WHERE THE HELL IS YOUR FUCKING HELMET? YOU COULD BE DEAD, BRO!

  • the falls at 1:15 guys

  • Sometimes routes are "bolted" sometimes there not. In this videos case there not, he uses nuts and cams which he places carefully in the rock then clips the rope into it's a bit more gnarly because you don't no weather they will hold or not! They usually do tho if placed well enough.

  • do they put those hooks in the rock that theyre rope is going through as they climb? or are they already there?

  • thats gotta be a heart pounder.....

  • I'd shit myself lol

  • anyone else notice the floating yellow circle in the background?

  • Hooooly CRAP!

  • wear a helmet retard!!

  • i am a rock climber too and your amazing

  • The yellow ball is most likely marking a powerline I would think down here in Texas I see them quite a bit but ours are orange

  • No body asks him if he is alright. The first thought is "did you get that?" Fucking idiots!!

  • @Dortmunderstrasse genau das war auch mein Gedanke.

  • Oops, sorry.

    @lortepikfis

    Hard name to spell.

  • @lortepicfis ,

Um, if you're on a mountain face a couple hundred feet that goes straight up, tell me if your voice echoes. When does it ever, actually? Plus scenery far far away may look fake. I don't enjoy putting people down, but for this, it needs to be corrected. :)

  • UFO in the background??

  • @yattypung hot air balloon probably.

  • @yattypung no its a hot air ballon

  • @yattypung thats a hot air balloon idiot

  • @yattypung naw..... just a hot air balloon.....

  • @yattypung that is security ball on the electric lines probably :D

  • HOLY CRAB ? XD

  • @yattypung its a hot air balloon you retard..

  • teu ngarti ah

  • he falls when he gets to 53 seconds

  • is that a weather balloon in the distance?

  • whats the yellow ball like thing floating above the lake?

  • whats the yellow ball like thing floatingg above the lake?

  • It's not real actually, you can also hear it by the sound. They are in the mountains, their voices are not echoed, there's no wind. Fake. Also, the landscape is just a picture.

  • @lortepikfis lol?

  • @lortepikfis That's exactly how the landscape looks. I recognized it straight away. Mate!

    Type in Mt Arapiles, Natimuk.

  • Thanks for the caption telling us how the thumbs up system on youtube works.

I wish they would remove the ads at the beginning and the stupid captions. Put links in the uploader description.

  • @McJaews you actually can turn off the captions in your settings!

  • Whats that ball thing in the distance lol. And I wonder where your cap went lol

  • cool vidio bra

  • I would've already peed my pants just puttin' the gear on. why? fear of heights. lol!

  • I would of flipped shit! I have a slight fear of heights, but this would be too much, what if those hook things he attached to the rock wall fell off?

  • dude thats awesome

  • Wow that was runout to that first bolt.

  • looks like a win to me, what a badass. wear a helmet though

  • Wow, some people in the comments have no idea about climbing... These ropes are much safer than you'd think. But as for wearing a helmet, yes you should for outdoor climbing :)

  • Helmet yes. Not testing the old crappy peton yes. What up with the crazy Steve Irwin climbers.

  • FUCK THAT! how is that even fun?

  • @yoyoyoletmehitdat its more of a feat of strength

  • 0:55 for the fall...

  • @tonmereestgross

    nah 0:54 for the URAGHH

  • Wear helmet dude, I scared to sheet

  • he was lo noooooo my cap haha

  • ok so falling is awesome, near death is cool......ok

  • O...m...g...seriously awesome :)

  • i think there is a ufo above the lake watching the climbing fall too

  • wearing no helmet...is just stupid

  • wow did he die???

  • @righteousblaze Are you serious? You can see him moving a the end...

  • 0:56 SHIT LITERALY

  • the suspense!

  • 0:58 for orgasm.

    lmfao

  • When rock climbing just think the only thing keeping you from certain death is this rope. It will make you feel a lot better. =P

  • hahahahah u guys are like omg and it a simple faaaaaall!

  • i wanted to see him plummet to his death...bummer

  • He shitted himself when he saw the big yellow UFO in the sky!

  • HOOOLY CRAAAP

  • OMG.. OHHHH.. OMG.. IT WAS AN ALIEN WATCHING THESE TOOLS CLIMB !!

  • HAT!?!?! WHERE ARE YOU!?!? D:

  • @Sk8Freek42 ... And why did I have to know that? Keep it to yourself please.

  • @Sk8Freek42 Are you fucking stupid? you obviously have that small piece of brain to understand it was a joke.

  • i thought he falls and dies just wasted a min of my life

  • "Holy crab!"

  • wtf why does he lose it that part looks easier than what he was doing at the start

  • FAKE! You can see the strings!

  • snap!

  • Unlucky mate I bet that was scary

  • 1:56

  • be better if he didnt have the rope

  • "Aagghhhhhrrrhhaaa" that noise would have been perfect if he would have fallen to his death as he tried to hold on for his life. Oh the suspense but then the rope catches him and people are slightly amused on the rock asking, "did you get that?"

  • Regarding: "Thumbs up if you liked this" HA! I liked the fact that a rope was tied to him. Man, that scared me for a minute! I know you have to have a lot of strenght for that. Nice video! Liked!

  • Would of been funnier if he fell all the way down

  • Helmet????

  • Yeah the yellow ball is for for choppers etc. So they can see it.

  • dude put a lid on it!

  • Is that Kachoong?

  • Urgh, that's wasted.

  • you people never climb, its a simple fall!

  • Why is is everyone so amazed when the guy falls? The amazing thing is how he got to that point to begin with.

  • @Climber

Helmet dude! You almost hit that rock. Wouldn't you have looked silly with your brains hanging out of your skull - Not very Cool then hey?

  • @ncacace helmets are for places with loose rock not bumping ur head

  • @Aquassassinator so what would you use for protecting ur head from hitting the rock? imho helmets are just great for that purpose. rock hitting head, head hitting rock ... not much of a difference there aye?

  • @ncacace lol i like how you said silly!

  • @ncacace I doubt he'd have cared much...

  • @ncacace Looks like he's swinging well clear of the arete. If he chooses not to wear a helmet then thats up to him. I choose to, most of the time, but occasionally choose not to, its my choice.

  • Sweet head first whipper!

  • holy crap that last piuece of gear was ages away and the fall was massive, over massive open space, the guy must have just went " oh shit"

  • I'd try this but gravity is a bitch

  • this is easily a 5-12..but is it abcd?
