it's just an amazing mix of feelings, seeing all of these trailers from the game of my childhood to the game of my adult years. years of nostalgia coming all back. I still remember the day where my older brother bought me arena for my 6th birthday, being excited as hell for daggerfall, thinking "I'm definitely dreaming" the first time I saw the oblivion trailer, and the shivers I got from the skyrim realistic trailer... The TES series were so incredible, I just hope they're here for future kids

anyone else notice that since the 2004 trailer Bethesda has done the same thing in almost every trailer they've put out? some panning shots of the best looking locations in the game. walking forward shots of the same. then some combat from first person, then the protagonist in various roles / locations.

@CrucisJon I wish. Unfortunately, Morrowind had the most variety of weapons and armor. All made after that had very little; crossbows and spears were removed, which pissed me off.

I have a question. Not including elder scrolls travels, there were at least 6 trailers for the series of all different games. If skyrim is the 5 and newest what are the others ones or where'd other fall into place. I know that marrowind is 3 and oblivion is 4 and arena is 1 but then there's dagger something and regard. Is dagger one just a remake of arena and still elders scrolls 1 or is it like the travel one and off in its own thing like gta San Andreas

Sadly I doubt that'll ever be possible, since the better the graphics become, the smaller the worlds become. At least this has been happening with the elder scrolls. It's gonna take a crazy gaming device to take that.

@Hiromu656 That isn't entirely true at all. Not directly anyway. The Xbox 360 has about half a GB of RAM, which can be effectively be eaten by Skyrim and many other games for the xbox. Both map size and graphics are what eat up the RAM of your xbox 360, However, the is a "clouded area" when you are in the province of skyrim you are only using RAM for a certain amount of area you are in say, a mile in each direction. everything past that just appears to be foggy and low quality,

@Bonchika but putting all of Tamriel in one game (not counting the somewhat longer production-time) would make it too big to fit on DVD. You would need at least Blu-ray to do it, and Xbox doesn't have that yet.

@Dirtfire Obviously you don't know anything about past TES games or about electronic storage. For one, TES was originally a computer game, they can definitely bring that back, without a doubt. As for xbox, were talking about Skyrim here. rumor has it that hammerfell, morrowind, and cyrodiil will by in DLC packs. That means it isn't on the disc, its on your hard drive, and 120GB is more more way more than plenty. with 120GB you could set sail on every sea on Nirn and visit avakir

@Hiromu656 If you go to that area, the resolution will come into place, and where you were will then be foggy and low quality. Also, There are rumors that more provinces will become accessible. There is a gate east of Riften that you cant go through the game will say "you cant go that way, turn back." in a map of Tamriel, you can see that this gate would lead to morrowind. There is another gate southwest of riften, that would lead to cyrodiil.
