To be honest , your collection should be with albums you like personally. I don't follow labels or artists in particular , I just buy what I like to hear :)

good stuff, i am actually brand new to being a dj and am just buying some new stuff. anywho, i was wondering how you taught yourself to do it? did you read any specific books, have someone help, or did you just mess around with it yourself and figure out? any advice would be greatly appreciated. :)... also do you recommend any must haves in your record collection if you are trying to play trance kind of music? thanks again!

Is this Drum and bass? Anyway. Your mixing itself is pretty much seamless. I like that your able to come up with some creative mixing points. I'm not sure exactly what the "reverse" button does technically, but I went back to 4:40 and whatever you did sounded jazzy. I'm a trance (Corsten, Darey) kinda guy, but if you were the DJ. at the club I walked into I'd stay for more than just a drink. I would eventually go to a trancier club but this is good from 10pm to midnight for me. Loungy.

The reverse button is to make the record turn in the opposite direction , backwards.

Euh , and no it's not drum and bass , it's just one or another subgenre of trance ..

maybe more progressive or something.

I quite enjoy trance. But stopped listening to it when i started mixing Electro House.. Seeing this almost makes it feel like a bad move. Specially Liked the drop at 6min50sec.

Hehe , yeah I like trance too , not ashamed of it , and you know what ? Plug your ears , there's a 60 (yeah that's right a 60) minutes mix coming onto youtube , so the world has been warn lol. (in 6 parts offcourse)

Well the TT was 300€ , priced off cause it was the last in the shop. Bought it in Mediamarkt. Normal price was 380 , then 325 but I got a percent cause the needle was stolen. Lol 25€ off again.

I know the Akiama DJ4000 Acura is a good turntable. There are a couple of articles that gave it glowing reviews. It is basically the same turntable as the popular Stanton ST-150 for the most part. Also the old Numark TT1 and TT2 dustcovers fit it almost perfectly. If you want to delete this comment after you read it, no worries just passing along some information. Practise and NJoy
