  • @HelloKatyes (i spelled it wrong.. just look at the comment down below)

  • @HelloKaytes some of them dont. look for a non-comedogenic and oil free

    sunscreen and you'll be fine.

  • In some products, besides SPF values, there is also PA values, for example, I got a sunscreen with SPF30 PA+++ , what does PA means??

    thanks^^

  • doesn't sunscreen clog the pores?

i am so afraid of additional breakouts :S

  • How will you get your vitamin D if you have sunscreen on all the time then??

  • @Myobokuuzan

I think he has a page where you can ask anything, didn't watch the video? Anyway:

There's no sunscreen that blocks the sun a 100% so you will always get Vitamin D, also, you get the right amount of Vitamin D only by your food, and if you're not sure you can always buy a supplement.

:D You should watch the other videos before posting or even asking. I think he has a page where you can ask anything, didn't watch the video?

  • Is a spray on sunscreen the same as a lotion or cream type?

  • why does your skin breakout even worse before it gets better?

  • Great videos :)

  • Is there a difference in effectiveness in sunscreen when it is a powder, cream, lotion, or sunscreen combined with moisturizer? (when using it on the face)

  • i have a really nice SPF 80. is that good or bad?

  • so basically there is no such a thing as sunscreen that prevents tanning whatsoever. i.e., if i have properly applied 30SPF then i will be burnt at 30minutes in. but before those 30 minute, my skin will be slowly starting the burning/tanning process, correct?

  • @barelylegalpigeons Effective use of sunscreen doesn't prevent all darkening of the skin but does prevent all burning of the skin, and the mild darkening that occurs, is much less dangerous. In regards to a 30 SPF, it doesn't just protect you for 30 min but can protect you in theory for up to 30-times the amount of time it would otherwise take you to burn if you didn't use sunscreen (approximately 15 min for fair skinned people). For more info, see the DermTV episode titled "What Does SPF Mean".

  • Dr.,

I've found a titanium dioxide/zinc sunscreen that I like with an SPF of 30. However, it has a thick consistency. Would it be a good idea to mix it with a little bit of lotion(CeraVe) and then apply it so that it is less thick? Would it still provide SPF 30?
