  • Thanks for this video. I am having double knee replacement in 1 mth, hope I do as well as you. You have done very well. Thanks for putting this on it is very intersting to see how someone else has recovered.

  • I just had one knee replacement Nov 4. Dr Stephen Howell, Sacramento, CA. He doesnt do the traditional technique and people come from all over to see him. I dont see how people can do two knees at same time. Unless you are on narcotics stronger than vicodin for a lengthy time. You need one good knee to help support when you are even trying to get up to do what you need to do. My doc wont even consider doing both. I hope those who have had are doing well.

  • I'm scheduled for both knees on 10-4-11. I own and operate a Sno-Cat in the winter and that is a big part of our yearly income. I was worried about not being ready this winter, but if I can do what you are doing I should be OK. Your video gives me hope. I can't imagine what it's like not to have the knee pain any more. That must be great!

  • I had just one knee done almost 2 weeks ago, you scared me watching this lol! Great job, gives me encouragement :)

  • I am 53 ,female, going for bilateral soon! trying to loose weight before surgery ...I wish I will do as well as you ! .

  • My mom had double knee replacement yesterday, she is doing okay. She actually had to walk today, she was in alot pain. Thanks for posting this, I will show her this for encouragement.

  • I'm a 60 year old male who is getting ready for double replacement. Hope I do half as well as you! God Bless! Watching you made me feel much less apprehensive.

  • My mother is having her surgery tomorrow 17th may 2010 im so nervous for her lol, shes been having a lot of pain in her knee and she has arthritis in it i hop shel recover quickly.

  • I am booked in to have both knees replaced on 2nd August. If I could do the things you can do even after three months I would be delighted. I am so looking forward to this surgery now. Thank you for sharing.

  • @debbiehill123 Well Debbie, our prayers are with you. Now 3 days after your surgery. Hope to see you commenting again to see how you are doing. Thank you again Jessica!

  • My mum has had her knee replaced on the 16th of feb, 2010 and is still finding it difficult to bent, and also is in alot of pain during day and night and feels depressed and feels like a 'robot'. The bending of the knee is taking alot longer than others.

  • WOnderful!

  • Is Awesome for her that she is recovering quickly. I guess everyone's recovery is different. I had mine done Nov. 24, 09 and I am still having a lot of pain specially in the middle of my knee & sides and I am having trouble bending my knee. Maybe, I am just to anxious to get back to normal or too negative. I am depressed! All I have to say is have real expectations about your recovery, pain and level of mobility before having your surgery. Only you know how it feels and what you can do.

  • I am 49 days post surgery and I have only been able to do what she can for a couple weeks. A lot depends on how tight of a knee your physician gave you and I'm guessing hers may not be so tight. I also got depressed but you just have to have patience and perserverance. My Dr. and physical therapist say I'm right on track! So keep your chin up, we all mend at our own pace.

  • My mother is having her surgery next week on the 3rd. Thanks for posting this video. I think I'm more nervous than she is.

  • What a great idea...posting your recovering. I just had mine done and never thought of doing it

  • Big improvement! LOL Wall-sits! Thanks for posting
