Hi mam, what you say is technically correct but as a matter of fact K-1 has become a style os his own too. E.g. in the gym where I practice muay thai they also have K-1 classes: no clinch, no elbows and so on.

Shoot-boxing is a combat sport which allows kicking, punching, throwing, and standing submission. It was developed from kickboxing by Caesar Takeshi.

I practiced for 3 y, you need a lot of protections, because there is full contact and practically a lot oftechniques are allowed. The good thing, it is very effective in street-fighting.
