all it is is a bug in the game, rockstar tried to make a plane fly in the sky in the scripting, they put the minimum starting point a certain height in the air, but, when it spawns in a crowded area, it continues to fly straight, itno objects like trees, large rocks and even mt chilliad, to see this happen all you need to do is save your game in a crowded area and a plane randomly spawns :D

shit once i saw a ghost plane here and i didnt explode and when i tried to jack it it expoded and turned into a andromada![the andromada was a plane in the beta version of the game but it was cut]. lol just kidding but it did explode when i tried to jack it

they are not ghost planes ,they are just AI planes aka COMPUTER planes , it was made to make the city look more real. but rockstar make them to fly low, and when they spawn they just hit into stuff because they where not program that smart~ love cuzzy

it is programed that a plane passes over your head from time to time , not careing where you are ,so at this moment the plane came but crashed with the mountain :)

@ynagy96 dude u dont know anything about the game all the planes if u look inside even when its flying u will not find a pilot inside if u want a proof have 3 stars wanted and then use the jetpack and stand on the heli when it come and no pilot will be found and onetime i came out of the 4 dragons casino and suddenly found a rustler plane falling on me and also in los santos every where thats not a myth

i walked out of the pizza place in los santos the one rider robs and i heard explosions coming from above me and a freakin plane fell on me and killed me just randomly then the ballas started shooting my body lol

whenever i play i usually see planes flying really fast and then disappearing but sometimes they crash in random places like straight at you or right in the middle of the road which causes the peds to scream and run

lol and the plane still tried to fly ....i spent a night there and i saw three planes crashing there. .the strange thing is thats the most common place to where the planes crash.thumbs up!
