Well heck, he's having a difficult time speaking convincingly, with clarity and knowledge of what he's talking about. And there is quite a bit to remember for the man, quite a bit indeed. He's a very, very busy man. Presidents are INSANELY busy, as a general rule. So, regardless of my personal opinion of Obama (which generally is in the lukewarm to cool area-I'm not really a fan of Obama), this is pretty much the norm, George W. had plenty of goofs too, remember?

Because he's smarter than Bush, his policies are better than Bush, he's much more honest than Bush, he actually knows what he's talking about (even if you diagree with him, that's better than being clueless) and, from what I've seen, he seems like a better person than Bush. No, he did not live up to all my high hopes for him, but very few over-hyped things ever satisfy.

In my opinion, after listening to his debates during the campaign, I agree with him on many issues, think he is very intelligent, and definitely knows what he's talking about. You know, barely anyone knew who Lincoln was until just before he ran for president.
