Thanks for the kind comments. Yeah, I invented electric spoons back in college, around '98. Even made a sign for my dorm room door... lol. I tried mics, which didn't work very well, and ended up with a basic electric circuit that would short, creating a "thunk" through an amp. I since refined the design to be a trigger device for an electronic drum set, so different percussion instruments can be played in time with the spoon impacts. (It's not ready for prime time yet, so no video. :-) )
