The reason why you sound whiny like that is because you play the same 4 chords for 5 minutes which eventually leaves you in a monotonous harmony. There's no break in your vocal harmony, no bridge or pre chorus/chorus, and no suspended chords to build tension. Where's the climax of this song?

@smokewilliams I think he means that a lot of bands/artists (for a long time) have been doing the same vocal and chordal progressions for a while & he is irritated by it. The philosophy behind it, is that these progressions sound relevant and catchy to the western ear. Although we've heard them so many times, some people do them very well, better than others. They are generally the ones with record deals. = ) I enjoyed your song and you do it pretty well.
