  • Those MB diesel engines seems to be indestructible...

  • on not starting german cars its forbiden to gas it when trying to start theats why she did not start she was full of old diesel and the sparks was full of fuel and the engin was drown

  • @CacatRetardat and if you had battery whires to connect with your car and some one to keep it around 2000 rpm was great :))

  • @CacatRetardat sparks? Do you mean sparkplugs? My diesel engines don't have sparkplugs, maybe you have a special dieselengine?

I have had 6 of these cars with the OM617 engine and my family has had over 30 with this engine, I think I know how to start them...

  • you should try to drive it :)

  • @TheHaydn14 I did try to drive it just a little and it drove, but I couldn't drive on roads at speed because it had no brakes..

  • I simply love videos like that. Simply love Benz I could just sit and watch a whole movie with ppl trying to start those cars. Hahaha, great vid!:)

  • 2:52 time for ,,new" battery ;)

  • @Jeerka Hehe, yes I had to swap batteries

  • 82rok z ABS-em???

  • @szladziu I didn't really understand your question, but yes it's an 82 with original ABS, I also have a 81 daily driver with original ABS...

  • wow nice vid ! 8 yrs and not started ! sounds great! did you take off the head lights? i need a set....lol !

  • Die hard car..

  • Please restaure the car. !

  • @DepositMusik Hehe, this car was scrapped some months ago, I sawed all the usefull parts like engine and drivetrain, it wasn't worth saving... Alot of the floor was rusted away

  • @kiarra00 floor is easy to make...

  • @DaKattila Haha... I don't think you know what you are talking about. I don't like people saying something is easy when they haven't even seen it!

  • sounds like a head gasket?

  • silnik dość dobrze pracuje...dziwne...

  • Thanks for sharing man. I could not believe a car would start after such a long time.

  • Nice Caddy, what year is it???

  • @tommysbrowncaddy It's a 1978 with the 5,7 Diesel, it has done 500 000 miles and it has never been rebuilt....

  • @kiarra00 Awesome! definitely my favorite caddilliac. These things last forever

  • @tommysbrowncaddy awesome!I just fucked ur mom in the ass!

  • How come there is no glass over the instrument cluster?

  • @LiftMasterTim Probably because kids had been playing in the car, it was like that when I got it...

  • @kiarra00 ah i see.

  • put new diesel fuel, Add some on the intake. .

  • This is a real MB - reliability, luxury and best of all class. Now days cars are like ipods. Look great the day you buy them, but obsolete in 18 months. Not to mention made in china crap all over.

  • lol i had a 82' 300D with ~ 330.000 km in super condition, and to watch this videos is just like having sex for me

  • Mercedes Benz... they never let go

  • eh low acu.

  • by the way brother 0 : 12 I can't actually see the oil cooler.I have some difficulties in making mines stable...

  • @cyrusthevrus Good notice there man! The oil cooler is from an older w115 and does not fit the mounting holes. Somebody had taken the original oil cooler, so I had to fit the w115 oil cooler just to start it. The w115 oil cooler is made of steel and they are more solid than the aluminium ones originally on the w123. So I sometimes modify the brackets to fit w115 oil coolers, when the alloy ones break.

  • @kiarra00 wow you're a genious bro.but mines dosent have mounting holes I mean wtf its weird!if I could send u a picture...

  • nice car man! these things are tanks

plz check mine out as well....i have an 84 300D (euro)

  • great old diesels :) gotta love them

  • how come.. .at the begining theres a hoes attached to the head, but at the end there isnt lol ?

  • @kiarra00 why is the glass broke in the back?

  • @SirRunescapeLoL Don't know exactly, it was broken when I got the car, but I think some kids broke it while it was sitting for 8years.

  • @kiarra00 if someone even IMAGINED TOUCHING my car id deffinetly stab him to death.

  • 0:10 you were filming that shit?

  • @marcvie9 At 0:10 you can see some paper that was used to check the engine oil, is that what you're asking or??

  • @kiarra00 I thought it was shit lol

  • lol when I bought Christine she was way more rusted than yours.U can save her bro!I mean look at the interior, front bumper-damn I wish I had it-and headlights, corner lights//..Do u sell that Bumper? If u want to sell it to me private message me :D btw u shouldve tryed to start it with the starter

  • @cyrusthevrus You don't know how rusted this car really was/is when you have only seen it on video, the floor is like almost gone, seats are falling out because of rust, it would cost more to fix than buying 20 really good ones!! I'm not going to sell parts to people on youtube, sorry! And didn't I start it with the startermotor??

  • @kiarra00 no you didnt. You did it by instering the key.I can start mines by putting the key in position 2 ,then I can put a screwdriver at my starter's terminal endings. Thanks anyway....

  • By seeing this vid, it should be possible to start my 1982 volvo B21ET engine which was silent for 10-15 years... The ignition is ok but I assume it's a gasoline problem. Need to check that part out :P

    Great vids man !

  • Med en gang du fikk et godt batteri i bilen startet den jo ganske fort. :)

  • mmm....diesel

  • 3 liter 617 engine-music for my ears

  • the engine is a 240d turbo or a 300d turbo

  • @mta798 assuming it says 300TDT (Correct badging is 300DT) and since the engine bay appears to have a turbo, i'd go with the 300DT ;)...plus a 240D turbo was never made here in the USA

  • @TheMercedes300d There's nothing called a carburated diesel, all diesels have fuel injection. These old ones with a dieselpump is mechanicly injected. And newer diesels have commonrail, where you have a constant pressure and electric injectors that opens at the right moment

  • Awesome dude !!!!!

You just wouldn't give up till it started.

  • It's a good old car, it's amazing that it started up after so long :)

  • that started pretty good! i enjoyed it

  • Great video!!! Indestructable engine!!!

One of my neighbours has the same model as a daily driver...It always starts like this one!

I don't think it's had working glow plugs for years...haha!!!

Such a shame as the body is still in very good condition!

  • if only Mercedes still made there cars like this, they would be second to none. :(

  • @CVRealMan when they were made back then they were second to none. Now the standard has fallen a lot.

  • Nice you're lucky to find those.
