Because the columns were put to the outside of the building the loads were carried there. The floors don't hold vertical loads. When the exterior columns buckled and failed the entire load of the buildings upper 30 stories rotated down on to the floor. Its load capacity was instantly overloaded. Asking 3/4 inch bolts to hold 180,000 tons in motion?

One argument against an oxy-acetylene torch is the sheer amount of slag, and against thermic lance is the neatness of the cut.

Further to my previous post, the initial impact event immediately damaged multiple perimeter and even a few core columns, while also removing critical insulation on core and perimeter columns and floor/truss members. The structural damage by the impacts, alone, was not enough to bring down the Towers. The fires that burned for an hour and half at the impact floors caused the steel core columns to buckle, the floor(s) to sag, and shifted gravity load to the perimeter columns.

The jet fuel did not need to melt the steel Nutt ball it just had to make it weak enough so it could not support the structures above it. Jet fuel burns at 800º to 1500ºF, not hot enough to melt steel (2750ºF). However, experts agree that for the towers to collapse, their steel frames didn't need to melt, they just had to lose some of their structural strength--and that required exposure to much less heat. I have been in the fire protection business so I have seen what it does.
What no one has brought up is the extreme heat that jet fuel burns at and what that can do to steel. The weight of the floors above the impact zone pancaked on to your shaft destroying it. The heat took time to have an effect on the steel that is also why the tower with the lower impact zone collapsed first and off to one side at first. Stop trying to see cover ups in everything. Next you’re going to tell us that the feds tell the sun when to rise and they call Israel to get permission.
I will say one thing though: at least he acknowledges that the core remained partially intact through part of the collapse sequence. However, the core doesn't need help to collapse into itself. That it isn't really what actually happened. The core was already torn apart by the collapse initiation and simply followed the path of the potential energy acting on all of the pieces. I like how at the end of the video, he shows close-ups of the pieces of core columns that were cut with cutting torches.
The first thing this video says, is that the commission stated that the core column structure was hollow and housed the elevator shaftes. This is actually, for the most part; true. What isn't mentioned, is that the core columns--themselves--were also mostly hollow as well. Then they go on to discuss the thickness at the base of the building, which is not relevent and has no bearing on the collapses at all. Then they proceed to acknowledge that the cores get less dense halfway up.

There is evidence (photos) to show they were cut by a workers post-9/11. There is no evidence (at all) of explosives.

Ironworkers cut vertical steel, particularly heavy vertical steel at an angle to control the way it falls when the cut is finished. They will make most of the cut, stop, then either attach a crane to the top of the piece or clear the area below and finish the cut. this way it doesnt pose a hazard to the people below or the individual doing the cutting. If it was a straight and level cut it could pose the hazard of falling back on the ironworker.
If you have never chopped wood, you would never understand how lateral force is created by a vertical force.
Since the load bearing columns would be forced to hold too many times their designed load, they would fail very quickly causing a symmetrical collapse.

Note that the Purdue Simulation shows much smaller beams than this video does. Compare both videos to the photos taken during construction of the towers. If the Purdue study falsely portrays the tower beams as less sturdy than they actually were, one must ask why. Perhaps "conspiracy" is the wrong word. Because the columns were put to the outside of the building the loads were carried there. The floors don't hold vertical loads. When the exterior columns buckled and failed the entire load of the buildings upper 30 stories rotated down on to the floor. Its load capacity was instantly overloaded. Asking 3/4 inch bolts to hold 180,000 tons in motion?

One argument against an oxy-acetylene torch is the sheer amount of slag, and against thermic lance is the neatness of the cut.
But at the very least it could have been made by any of the three (third being a thermite shaped charge as demonstrated by Cole), and we can't tell from the available evidence.

Further to my previous post, the initial impact event immediately damaged multiple perimeter and even a few core columns, while also removing critical insulation on core and perimeter columns and floor/truss members. The structural damage by the impacts, alone, was not enough to bring down the Towers. The fires that burned for an hour and half at the impact floors caused the steel core columns to buckle, the floor(s) to sag, and shifted gravity load to the perimeter columns.

The jet fuel did not need to melt the steel Nutt ball it just had to make it weak enough so it could not support the structures above it. Jet fuel burns at 800º to 1500ºF, not hot enough to melt steel (2750ºF). However, experts agree that for the towers to collapse, their steel frames didn't need to melt, they just had to lose some of their structural strength--and that required exposure to much less heat. I have been in the fire protection business so I have seen what it does.

What no one has brought up is the extreme heat that jet fuel burns at and what that can do to steel. The weight of the floors above the impact zone pancaked on to your shaft destroying it. The heat took time to have an effect on the steel that is also why the tower with the lower impact zone collapsed first and off to one side at first. Stop trying to see cover ups in everything. Next you’re going to tell us that the feds tell the sun when to rise and they call Israel to get permission.

I will say one thing though: at least he acknowledges that the core remained partially intact through part of the collapse sequence. However, the core doesn't need help to collapse into itself. That it isn't really what actually happened. The core was already torn apart by the collapse initiation and simply followed the path of the potential energy acting on all of the pieces. I like how at the end of the video, he shows close-ups of the pieces of core columns that were cut with cutting torches.

The first thing this video says, is that the commission stated that the core column structure was hollow and housed the elevator shaftes. This is actually, for the most part; true. What isn't mentioned, is that the core columns--themselves--were also mostly hollow as well. Then they go on to discuss the thickness at the base of the building, which is not relevent and has no bearing on the collapses at all. Then they proceed to acknowledge that the cores get less dense halfway up.

How can those cuts be done after the collapse? Why would any cleanup cuts be done the hard way?, meaning why would they make angular cuts and not just straight through cuts of the steel? Why was there molten metal still burning days after the collapse? In order to get metal molten, it needs to be heated to over 2700 degrees....
Burning fuel from a jet only reaches 1400 degrees.. how is this metal melted? How is a video clearly showing molten metal pouring out of the building, before collapse?

I hear you , there is in my estimation people that are awake to the facts that there is something rotten in Denmark, but unfortunately they are too busy with lives problems, stupid videos on here that are senseless, and watching American idol.

Ironworkers cut vertical steel, particularly heavy vertical steel at an angle to control the way it falls when the cut is finished. They will make most of the cut, stop, then either attach a crane to the top of the piece or clear the area below and finish the cut. this way it doesnt pose a hazard to the people below or the individual doing the cutting. If it was a straight and level cut it could pose the hazard of falling back on the ironworker.

If you have never chopped wood, you would never understand how lateral force is created by a vertical force.
Since the load bearing columns would be forced to hold too many times their designed load, they would fail very quickly causing a symmetrical collapse.
Nobody has ever proved "near free fall since it took 12 seconds from first sign of collapse to completion. Even videos show well more than 8 seconds.

Where did those 99.985% sign and say they "beleive" it is legit. I know the WTC 1,2, and 7 collapse is legitimate too -- they definitely came down. (with timed explosives and structural charges).
How anyone can watch building 7 fall straight down (symetrically) at free fall speed and say that was a collapse is either a liar, uninformed, or just a plane idiot.

Why do the conspiracy theorists keep claiming WTC 7 collapsed at freefall speed when only 2.25 seconds of the collapse was at freefall speed. That's just 15% of the collapse time. Overall, the building fell 40% slower than freefall. Is that what happens in a CD? I assume the CTers can't answer that question.

wtc 7 collased from having debree gash a hole in its super structure. the fire did the rest.

and how can those oppose to the idea of government intervention explain a theory of structural damage yet ignore the obvious that there where vast swaths of the building that weren't structurally damaged and yet two buildings collapsed in mere seconds with out resistance? Hello, When you look at the videos available you always seem to find the same angles and the same pictures. Why is this when the entire world was watching a known landmark for over an hour respectively? The 2 key ingredients that are found in thermite, are Aluminum Oxide, and Brrium Nitrte! Both of which, were ABSENT from the dust samples! Note that the Purdue Simulation shows much smaller beams than this video does. Compare both videos to the photos taken during construction of the towers. If the Purdue study falsely portrays the tower beams as less sturdy than they actually were, one must ask why. Perhaps "conspiracy" is the wrong word. Perhaps "propaganda" or "bandwagon" is the better term. We can handle the truth.

There are now 799 Architects and Engineers demanding a real investigation into the events of 9/11.
More importantly, over half of the American people have serious questions about 9/11 and want a real investigation.
You don't need to be an engineer to see this was controlled demolition, just a little old fashioned common sense and a basic understanding of physics and you must be able to comprehend that kerosene can't melt steel.

@ryconster 10 secs. you are referring to wtc7. The collapse didn't take place in 10 secs. rewatch the collapse. It starts when the top penthouse drops away. It is a two fold collapse. 1 interior collapse. 1 exterior collapse. It took well over 20 seconds.

You will find the south tower collapses in around 8.5 seconds and the north tower at 11 seconds.. As for building 7, that was 6.5 seconds from start to finish.. FULL STOP.. Doesnt change the fact that the wind forces sustained by the towers was FAR greater than the impact of those planes..

Steel loses carrying capacities the hotter it gets. It deforms. Eventually the steel structure will snap at specific conjuctions.
If you all doubt the engineric reports on the collapse and demand new ones, perhaps you should first at least look at them.
