I was in one the master Chu's seminars. He did this yi/chi sending multiple times. usually i was in middle of the row. If i had choose not to move, i would have not moved. Those demonstrations back then were not THAT strong. But the chi can be felt easily. And i descripe him as small nuclear reactor :)

In his seminars, master Chu often pushes rows of about 20 people. Those in the middle or on the end of the row do not see him and have no clue what he's doing. But when he sends the chi, the last ones in the row fly away. Those in the middle often do not move.

I this was hypnotizing or suggestion, they would have to see when the action is done.

Anyway, believe it or not, his power ist just amazing :))) And being pushed that way feels very special, very nice!

if you are not physically fit, then you will not have enough presence to sense the action at a distance. It is tied to ability not fakery. The same people also would have no chance moving a tai chi master. Try dribbling a basketball with low air pressure. The excuses put forward by his entourage are fantastic, to die from laughter. Once, uncautiously, he physically crossed hands with a English practitioner. He ended up against the wall several times and even to the ground. So much energy at a distance, who knows where it ended up in that occasion. The floor was slippery, of course :-)

CKH had at most 3 months of teaching with Yang Sau Cheung, just before Yang Sau Cheung deceased. He was still in probation when he became disciple for business reasons.

All that show has nothing to do with Yang Sau Cheung's teaching, that show is dishonouring YSC.

What is so strange is how easy it is to disbelieve these demos. It has to be coupled with a similar belief that all of these men and women who do Tai Chi demos, are somehow all involved in a nationwide conspiracy to decieve people. Even the great, respected T T Liang gives these demos. Is he also a charlatan? The demos are designed to show Tai Chi skills in grand ways, but not fake. As he says at the start of the video, they are there to demonstrate what many people cannot do and never see

Many demos are done for theatrical effect, and have little value in the truth. Example: sleeping on a thousand-nail bed may seem impressive, but the master would not sleep on a one-nail bed. Just physics (pressure and surface area), not qi. Another example: breaking concrete slabs with a sledge hammer over the masters body/head. If the master is for real, just use the hammer over his head, no concrete slabs to absorb the force. These tricks can even be done with a 7 year old.

I was taught by Master Chu in the 1980's. I took part in some of these demonstrations both as an individual and in groups. He did the same with all comers. It was something very strange, but boy that guy had something. Many people have since said it's nothing special but I have NEVER met anyone who could do anything anywhere near what he could do.
