  • Mike don't get the operation.

You are suffering from stress, adjustments, insecurities from your recent expat move.

You are just needing to balance within yourself with your new continent of adoption.

When you learn to focus on relaxing, beeing supremely confident about yourself, your carpal problems will go away. resting your suffering arm is also a requisite during your re-aclimateness.

These carpal "syndromes" are psychosomatic occurences within oneself.

    research and find your answers,

  • Mike, sorry about your hand. My sister had the surgery on both of her hands (long ago). One hand at a time though. I love your tee shirt. : )

  • My wife got relief from cortisone injections.

  • Mike,

Re: the Carpel Tunnel, I went through a similar thing with both wrists---The only long-term solution was Surgery. It is GREAT!

    Good luck with the wrists.

    William

  • May I recommend finger exercises, like guitar players do, if your typing alot. It`s like doing warm up exercises and cooling down.

  • Thanks Mike, look forward to the documentary.

  • Good to see ya buddy. Take care of yourself and don't be so scarce around here!

  • I could get a brace for world of warcraft :P

  • I am astonished at the lack of interest in the huge Norway sky spiral. I had to give up keyboards for about ten years! Surgery and treatments had horrendous side effects and essentially failed. I went into a depression at the prospect of not being able to write or work with a keyboard. Best to ya!

  • Acupuncture will help. You can very likely avoid surgery altogether. Rest your arm. Take "microbreaks" of 10-15 seconds every three minutes while you're typing/mousing.

  • Use your mouse with your left hand!!!

Its not too hard especially when you think about surgery.

  • Hope you have some good results with the brace, and that it gets better soon.

Looking forward to the documentary, as we do not seem to have the real story on supposed Global Warming.

  • I'll be looking forward to the documentary.

  • You should try some stretches for carpal tunnel here on YouTube. They work very well. Also get an ergonomic keyboard and a trackball mouse.

  • Dude, use your other hand. Some find that if they sit on it for awhile and it goes numb...it feels like a stranger's or Sarah Palin's.....but I wouldn't know about that.

    Look forward to your documentary!

  • look forward to it

  • Try using your left hand for mousing. BTW, Earth in the Balance had some juiced up science in it I think. I vaguely remember a contributor justifying using unsubsantiated theories because it was very important for the public to get engaged and do something. Being an engineer, I do remember my emotional response (disgust) with the revelation. I need to track that one down.

  • The documentary sounds fun.

  • mike you have to stop strokin it too hard..LOL j/k Seriously I enjoy your video and I hope you will make more.

  • Most maladies are often a result of a vitamin/mineral deficiency. Check it out:

    xrl.inSLASH400n

  • Don't subject yourself to surgical intervention without exhausting all options. I had the same situation. I purchased the 3M Ergonomic Mouse. It took about 3 days to get accustomed to it's functioning. However, my carpeltunnel disappeared and has never returned! This mouse is absolutely fantastic. I suggest you try it out. It's worth the effort and the $55 that it costs. Just test it out for a few days and see if it works for you. Much better option than surgery.

  • Love the shirt.

I wore one of those wrist thingy things once.

I'm a sheetmetal worker so I was movin metal around a lot.

When I got my wrist thingy, I decided to become aware of my repetitious movements.

I figured out what caused it and did it differently. Slowly the numbness went away.

Don't do the surgery, become aware of how you treat you're body. Stress from work changes your focus. You may need to re-prioritize your attention a bit.

  • 5 stars for the shirt.

  • wow . insanely good news, I will watch you documentary. Sorry about your arm. :(

  • I had ct surgery in both hands twenty years ago or so. If you have it done I have a little advice . do what your doc and therapist tell you no more no less you will heal a lot quicker .god be with you and I hope your enjoying your new home.

  • brilliant - will be looking forward to that documentary. keep well! :)

  • mike, you should be checked for hashimoto's disease. Its symptoms are similar to carpal

no need for surgery if you have hashimoto, just take some meds.

  • I thought to cure CTS you had to lay off the repetitive movement that caused it in the first place for long enough for the body to heal.

Richard Stallman had it so bad he had to have people do his typing for him. Can you imagine developing software while dicating to someone else? "Ok, type main left paren i - n - t argc comma char star star, NO! I mean asterisk asterisk, yeah ..."

  • The thought has crossed my mind; but I was reminded last week that it really isn't so easy! LOL

There I was telling someone how to find an issue with a DNS lookup.. LOL "no I meant nslookup... blah blah blah"... just wouldn't work!

Yup, I am using my right hand as little as possible :-)

    Peace and Love

  • Mike you could have a thoracic vertebrae out of alignment, this could also be causing the sensations you are or not feeling down your arm and first 2 fingers ... check with a chiropractor ...

  • good to see u sorry for ct hope the wrist gets better

  • Load up on vitamin C also find a good accupuncturist.

  • Good to see you Mike. Sorry abt the CT.

sure you will research all available approaches.

    looking forward to your doc.

    peace

  • Good to see u mike!

  • Hi Mike.. good to hear from you again. Hey, wanted to ask you if you've watched or read any of the work from Abraham-Hicks related to the law of attraction? I know you're on a sort of spiritual quest, as many of us are these days, and thought I'd ask about these works as they've inspired me so greatly (in addition to my work with the "Law of One" teachings). Anyway, not sure if this is the type of thing you're focusing on right now, but if so, do check out the channel AbrahamHicks here on YT.

  • My doctor showed me an exercise to do which releaved my CTS within a week. It did not come back. Good luck with yours.

  • Feel better soon! :)

    Love the t-shirt!! : D

  • Mike,

We all love you here, but the most important thing is for your health.

Chiropractic and liquid forms of MSM and Glucosomine/Chondrointine.

Take care of you we will be fine.

    Much Love your way !

  • Hey Mike, I've watched your other channel (pretty much from day one) and I totally understand your change. You mentioned 'The Field' (amazing, wake up the person from a coma book) in your last vids & if you can In one sentince (or word) describe, what it did for you :)

I'm interested to know because I believe it's triggered something in everyone that's read it

It's one of those books, everyone should read with an open mind for the true effect to be possible.

    Dig

  • So happy to see you, missed you! Read the articles on Mike Adams site on carpal tunnel, before having surgery. Hope your wrist gets better soon.

    naturalnews(dot)com/026883_thyroid_carpal_tunnel_syndrome_health.html

  • Take care of you, Mike. You're one of mah faves. :-)

  • Ive had CT for years...at night sleep on the opposite side of the injured wrist and lay it straight down your side. I always got relief at night from this position. I am so sorry to hear of your injury. I know how painful it is. I sewed for a living and had do it with numb, tingly, pained hands...not fun

  • Mike,

do a video of the snow outside please !

Haven't seen "real" snow for such a long time !

  • Hi Mike

I miss your economic / news updates

    Get Well Soon !

  • sorry to hear about the hand yea theres a documentary on my channel on my favs called exstinct it myt b good for ur reasearch in global warmen

  • Great to see you back Mike and i look forward to the Al Gore Truths or Lies vid should be interesting.

  • Dude, how many times do I have to tell ya - stop wanking so much cos it'll funk up your wrist! ;-) Good to see you back Mikey!

  • No excuses!!! Put a pencil on your mouth and type with that!!!!

  • Hi Mike,

    Re: The carpal tunnel syndrome:

Are you aware of electrical hypersensitivity (EHS or just ES) due to electrosmog?

Make sure your PC system is grounded.

Avoid wireless parts - use corded.

    Hope this helps, Nikolaj

  • This'll be great, for sure!

    Looking forward to it...

    Get well first!

  • Great to see you Mike! Hope the wrist gets better soon. And looking forward to the documentary.

  • Hi Mike, glad to see you again! Take care and keep on fighting the good fight.

  • would you believe I have a wrist brace on :o(

    Really sore :o(

nice to see you mike ...... your late :o)

  • Ouch! OK, not my intention at all! :o(

Hope that gets cleared up soon!

  • nice t-shirt... :-)

  • nice lighting too... (sadly my computer still wont let me watch the video properly... i'll come back tomorrow... sigh)

  • Have you fed the 'man to sort out the mac" yet? If you have, you was robbed LOL

  • LOL... no, the 'man to sort the mac' was under his girlfriends xmas shopping thumb this weekend... official bag carrier i believe. It'll get done- no stress! :-)

  • hope you get better soon

  • Should be a good documentary

  • Mike:

My Chiropractor said that putting a rubber band around the end of your fingers, and expanding it out will help with carpel tunnel. It strengthens opposing muscles in the wrist. No one ever needed surgery if they kept this up he said.

  • The shirt is hilarious!

  • Can't wait for your doc, Bro!

  • Oh, Dang! Forgot....

Few years ago I got (back)

    into horse-riding. It cured

    my CTS. Attention to posture,

    balance and all that.

    Downside; Broken ribs & shoulder,

    torn ligs, bruses & abrasions.

    Over several occasions.

    Pick your poison! ;P

  • Mike take time off as much as you can. Rest is the best medicine for carpal tunnel.

  • Great idea with the documentary. That's one of the most important issues to cover these days.

  • Look forward to the docu.. sending healing.

  • thanks - your idea sounds great and would be greatly appreciated.

  • A gentle high fives M8

These snows here are quality, innit?

Love this miserable white stuff lol

  • LOL me too! I watched in child like wonderment this week as the snow danced around me... and then in awe as birds settled in the trees next to me. How can anyone not LOVE it?

I could do without the wind here though LOL but I guess that is part and parcel of the process!

    :-D

  • What part of what al gore said is not true. Will be a very long doc lol.

  • practically all of it! Hes one one the biggest liars and frawds to live!

  • Are you sitting properly? In the past, I was developing CT and I bought a book on how to cure it naturally. I've learned how to properly sit at my desk and type and the symptoms for CT went away and have not come back. I thought of this because one of my office jobs had the Insurance company come in and teach us all about how to sit properly and type in order to decrease the number of CT claims that they have.

  • full frontal.......for what it is worth....i had the surgery for CT.....all has been well for years......it got so bad that i woke up one night with so much pain in my arm i would gladly have let them remove it...lol....this was way before pcs...to much knitting i guess...glad to see you again........

  • Get well Mike and thanks once again.

  • Best of luck Mike. Look forward to seeing your documentary.

  • Rest that wrist! But keep making the videos :-) Looking forward to more vids from you, especially the more 'spiritual' matters.

  • Get well soon, your postings are always most welcome. I'm especially looking forward to the montage tearing the slimy Nobel laureate* a new one.

    * meaning Al Gore, of course. Who else?

  • Sounds like acupuncture has had very good and long lasting results for Carpal.

  • Nice candles

  • acupuncture and exercise and proper healthy diet with plenty of water

  • I had a similar problem. Wore a brace for a while, bought an ergonomic keyboard with touch pad, mounted on sliding tray under desk. Problem solved. Using the mouse on the table caused repetitive stress on my wrist. Give it a rest, let it heal.

  • thanks Mike, feel better soon, cool shirt, lol

  • whoa who knew chronic masturbation could be so painful

  • Get a check up with a good ChiroPractor

  • I have been considering that as well... apparently they can give great results; depends on how advanced it all is i guess :-)

  • A good Chiropractor is worth their weight in Gold! mmmm as long as they are not Tungsten filled! Mike that Tungsten Gold Bar thing is going to have some serious delayed reprecussions

  • use ur left hand for the mouse, I found that helped me

  • Yup, i've been doing that, was a hard switch, but I am almost comfortable with it now :-D

  • good luck mike

  • Peace.Love.Understanding. For everything else the is the nail bat. ; D

    {

  • Yup!!!! LOL

  • excuses... you have another hand and 10 perfectly good toes! These are the times when we need to think outside the box and make due with what we have,,, right? he he

  • Yeah I kinda also don't care anymore, their gonna boil us so long that only most vicious watchmen will be able to see that we're already in hell...

Meantime gotta find job in some carbon trading buisness, Keiser said it's a future - like it or not. :)

    Thx for up.

  • Hey Mike, the CTS sucks. I have it as well and it can be a bother. My hands completely fall asleep sometimes. LOL, they may just be bored. :o)

Love the shirt. Made me giggle.

And I think those of us who do the news vids go through periods of where we burn out a little and need a break. I have been there twice now. So I understand. As long as you keep us updated to let us know you are doing well, that we will be fine.

    Merry Christmas by the way!

  • Thank You :-D I think it may be boredom as well LOL

  • I hope your wrist feels better!

  • I'm looking forward to the documentary.

  • Ripping some footage now - which will likely get me into trouble with YouTube, but I really don't care LOL It's educational after all!

  • Mike - there is a product at health food stores for carpal tunnel - it is a Bell's product... provides needed nutrients to help the blood to flow... maybe worth a try instead of surgery.

  • I've been trying vitamin B12 and Glucosamine; which does reduce the pain (it doesn't make it all the way up)

I'll have a look out for the Bells product :-)

  • MIke, MSM helps reduce the pain symptoms of arthritis and joint problems. Take glucosamine, MSM, and chondroitin all together.

  • Having trouble with snow storms eh, global warming it,s bitch innit :)

  • Michael, nothing heals like cold steel. Get well.

  • ROFL nice one! :-D

  • Thanks Mike for the update, hang in there with your arm, things will work out

  • I had that but treated it myself. I noticed the pain was caused by mainly frontal plane flexion of the wrist in downward motion.

nice shirt mike, i understand not wanting to type or make vids, its very very painfull, like a damm root canal.

Good luck in getting that better hopfully without operating

  • wish you good luck with your arm

  • Get well soon. Oh, I like your candles:)

  • Ah yes, pure bees wax... apparently releases great ions into the room :-)

  • Take it easy and get healed up.

  • love the shirt man lol

  • when are you gonna do another video?

  • Hey Mike.

Hope the carpal gets better. Mine did, after months. Don't get the surgery.

  • TY... Yeah, the doctor even admitted it doesn't always work.. but at this point I'm willing to try almost anything!
