While I would actually prefer to buy the new 6' line, I don't think I will be buying this. Besides the fact that he doesn't wear and undergarments, and his back looks like someone stabbed him with an Allen-wrench, I just have no reason to digg this. I can see someone buying two of these, customizing one and junking the other and keeping all of the bandages to accessorize him to hell and back, I just cant see them fixing the ab articulation.
see this is why these companies never listen to us because some extreme nostalgia demon controls some of us fans into believing that this is as good as it gets, BULL you see what mattel did with he-man they made it in scale with other stuff, they're based of the vintage figures, meaning they were made to be in scale with each other, seriously, hell these are smaller than the vintage figures they're made off of SERIOUSLY, bandai is too occupied with megaman x figures, sell to matty for quality
lol its crap it should have been 8 inch to match the lion0o and the tigra they made it like the othe classic i just gotit today and half of his stuff falls off
I hated on the other figures when I saw them on reviews but ended up loving them when I got them so although this looks bad I think I will like it much more in hand. But I do agree it could be improved but I will still buy it anyway :)
There are instructions in each box. Between the display insert and the box walls. It has instructions about where to put the clip-ons but they are absolutely no help whatsoever.
I don't understand what the point of shrinking the scale was for when the outcome is bad. It was a potential hit, but now seeing these reviews, I don't like anything about them. I also don't understand where you come off saying they are going into the right direction when there's so much wrong with these figures. I'm very disappointed. It made the staction figure look awesome and a better buy for a collection. I really hope they remake this guy in an 8" version. Not all my figures have to be 6".
mummra is the same size as classics skeletor! i just set them side by side on my desk and i was exspecting him to be smaller -but- no! same size which is s'hweeet!
I did see the new 6'' Thundercats figures in my local Walmart, I'm sorry to say I wasn't impressed with the classics series . I did buy the new 6'' Cheetara figure, very nice figure , but the joint pegs are black just like the 4'' version . It looks ok on her , after all cheetahs do have spots .
i wish this line was done with as much love and care as masters of the universe classics..besides the fucked up swaped shoulders.im sorry but these look like walgreens toys
@hemanfoo Bandai America just needs to pay more attention to how Bandai Japan does things with their collector lines. SH Figuarts, as an example, are super posable, expertly painted, and don't feature screw holes. If one division of the company can do it, so can another. Of course, they'd probably have to be more expensive as a result.
@hemanfoo dude these look WORSE than walgreens toys these ARE toys you'd find in a mcdonalds or a garbage truck or the dump, hell these can't even be considered ACTION FIGURES they are that CHEAP
@hemanfoo yea i know i had literally just been letting this anger towards bandai build up for so long, that i just had to let it out,the needed to STICK with the 8 inches, who cares if you say they're supposedly "out of scale" that is some major bull look at the vintage thundercats compared to the vintage masters of the universe figures and the dcs the thundercats where taller than eternians and humans, and the eternian's where tallers than the humans why can't we get that straight ugh
Nice review as always Dan!! There is instructions in the box that tells you how to put the flowing strings in the back. look between the cardboard inserts.
After watching this review... I don't think I am going to buy this Mumm-Ra figure. I actually wasn't planning on getting the 6 inch Lion-O but now I think that's the one I want the most...

All you 8" whiners just need not buy him if he upsets you so much, me personally I like him and he will go well with MOTU Classics I have.

I actually cancelled my pre-order. I don't like Lion-O's face or the fact Mum-Ra doesn't have a cape. Hopefully, they'll re-do them...

Dan you must remove the exclamation point in the ThunderCatsNOW (dot) com URL in the description, it makes the link non-clickable

The face sculpt is terrible, the statue has a more accurate face sculpt 7:43.
