I wish some one would put this movie in full on you tube and the 3s company episodes. It still comes on TV at 3 am. lol. They only show certain episodes on TV instead of start to finish.
I think the name of the movie is "Three's Company Unauthorized" that aired on NBC several years ago. They also did one on Charlie's Angels, Diffrent Storkes, and I think Dynasty as well.
@KELLYMONACOSAM The odds are, being that it's 2 years later, you probably found out the title by now, but if not, I wanted to help you out and let you know that the song title is "Rich Girl" by Hall & Oates. :-)
First off, I don't understand why people who don't know a thing about this show even bother to watch clips much less complain about a show they don't even get. This is a clip from the abc made for tv movie about the making and breaking of this series. I was just wanting to ask you (mayberrystreet) if you know where I can find a full copy of this particular film? I missed it the night it aired due to work, and I've wanted to see it ever since. I'm a die hard 3's fan and appreciate any advice. TY
@SECgatorFAN did you ever find the movie? there is a guy online selling copies for like 15 dollars and stuff, but if u know somewhere i can buy it as well, let me know. Or I'm buyin the sucky 15 dollar copy lol
Suzanne is an idiot and she was funny and much less HOT...come one...she doesnt even have any ass just some hanging boobs...I guess the 70s people had weird preferences....
Yeah, Suzanne is a rich idiot though at that or is she? Jack Ritter really gained a lot and had a very successful career. Norman Fell was already acting before then and has always been very talented. Don Knotts we all know about.
What probably drew in the TV audiences was the intriguing fact of having a guy living with two girls.
All the sitcoms had their internal issues. Drugs, alcohol, you name it. Longest running for our time was Married with Children.
yeah that show had a good run for it's time, but featured Lucille Ball in one episode. That show actually had some very good talent. The spin off though never did get off the ground. The bit was getting old.
For that time period I enjoyed WKRP and All in the Family just to name a few.
Present day I like Two and Half Men, That Seventies Show, Everyone Loves Raymond, and Malcom In the Middle.
I have to say. John Ritter made the show. If it wasn't for him, the show would suck. Even Larry, the Ropers, Don Knotts and Jeffery Tambor were WAY FUNNIER than Susanne Summers.
I hear ya on the R.I.P. and glad you give credit where it is due.
I saw Norm in Charley Varrick and he had a very good acting role regardless of the bit part he had.
Any one who knew about Knotts, Tambor, or Fell could really get a kick out that show.
Unfortunately I guess the blonde bimbos from Suzanne on were nothing but eye candy, then again Dukes of Hazzard was the same way with Catherine Bach only that was two guys and a girl.
I remember watching this and it was kinda depressing because it shows how and why the show ended. Please refresh my memory but, in this movie, didn't they also speak with the real actors during this movie?
Yes, I believe Joyce DeWitt popped in between scenes to add her two cents. Kind of like, "if only Suzanne Somers had used her powers for good, instead of greed." Meanwhile Suzanne is laughing all the way to the bank.
The only problem I had with this was they made John Ritter seem like a prima donna. Everyone who worked with him said he was the nicest guy in the world. It also seems a little convenient that Joyce DeWitt (who produced this movie) comes off as nothing but agreeable while everyone around her sells out.
why dont they actually redo this tv show i like the premise and its not like theres any other good sitcoms on tv anymore giveit a try,

suzanne somers srsly thought too high of herself while on that show.
backstage, she acted like the whole series revolved around her and showed her theory by not showing up to tapings.
that just showed how underappreciated John Ritter and Joyce DeWitt were and to me, they were the best actors on that show hands down.

There were actors on that show?

That actor bears an uncanny resemblance to John Ritter. Well-cast biopic!
