  • THE RESURRECTION OF THE BODY

Reassembled from spare parts on the latter day

I cannot plumb it, 'tis a mystery

    Walking hand in hand hesitantly

Across the green, which is green again

What once seen is seen again

    Your eyes

  • This late Beethoven is gorgeous.I thought i knew all da bagatelles but this one is fabulous .Like a new discovery for me.

  • @lovesGenet The amazing thing is that this is really a set of variations on a microscopic theme in Eb. It even ends with a long trill like the last movement of Op. 109 and Op 111. The entire set is a cohesive single work. The concentration of expression is unsurpassed.

  • ¡Eso son letras extranjeras!

  • These lesser heard Gould live recordings are gems for me. Thank you so much for uploading, I appreciate it.

  • Extraordinario...no solo es Bach...excelente¡

  • It's amazing how much more beautiful this piece is at Glenn's tempo. Clearly, with it being in 3/8, he plays it MUCH slower than would be expected but I think it gives the piece such a sense of grace and epic beauty. Good call Mr. Gould!

  • wow. can't complain about that now can you?

  • I'm sure someone can. I'm not him, though. Ab-so-lutely gorgeous.
