  • Respect Hannah :-) You are so cool - Many greats from Denmark

  • wow, I'm 52 and stuttered since I can remember. This young lady is my hero I weep as I type this reply. You are one special girl and my heart breaks for you and yet rejoices in your courage..................may the good lord bless and bless and bless you

  • I stuttered all my life and I wish I had her guts god bless u girl

  • you go girl!

  • drudruudrudrudrudrudrudrudrudrudrudrudrudrudrudrudrudrudrudrudrudrudrudrudrudrudrudrudrudrudrudrudruudrrrrrudruuuuuuuudruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrdurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrdurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrdurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrdurrrrrrrrrrrrrrdurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrudrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

  • GREAT speech. I'm very proud of you even though I don't even know you and I don't stutter. I have also seen your monologue. Some people have accents that are really hard to understand and stuttering only takes a little more time but is easy to understand. Stuttering is an art, because you guys really think about every word and don't just say it without thought. Taking time and living in the present is so important and for some people It'd be good to stutter, not to hurry through life.

  • proud of you.....

  • I wish I had half of the guts she has. What an incredible girl! I'm so impressed, I can't even explain.

I'd struggle to make a speech like this, and I don't even stutter! She's a real inspiration.

  • i stutter, and in my speech class we all had to do a 2 minute speech. i finished it in 7:49 minutes. i couldn't speak at all i have stutter episodes, blocks and stuff. my friends call me studs, and the girls call me stutter lips. but i don't mind it they're my friends :)

  • good effort, i salute u and the supportive audience! keep doing efforts.......

  • I was there back in 2008 and I still think back from time to time and remember Hannah and all the others who stood up and spoke. I wish you all the best in sharing your confidence and spirit with others so that they may ignite and shine their own light.

  • AMAZING... AND INSPIRING... THANKS A LOT HANNAH... I UNDERSTAND WHAT IS IMPORTANT ABOUT STUTTERING.. COURAGE AND SELF CONFIDENCE...

YOU ARE MY HERO YOUNG LADY..

  • I have respect for her, i have a stutter and i always avoid public speaking at all costs. in new zealand school we have to do a speech as part of the year and i would always say im sick and can't go to school on the day i was supposed to say it.

    You have inspired me

  • Hannah is simply astounding! She's a skilled public speaker. She's confident, knows what she's talking about and has a perfect voice for public speaking (volume, tone, etc.). For her to accomplish this with a stutter is nothing short of amazing. This courageous young lady shows us that anything is possible if we focus our wills on our goals.

  • This girl is staring her greatest fear in the face. One cannot have more guts than that.

  • dam this girl has guts shes my new hero :)

  • game of stuttering - dr morton cooper... see his videos on youtube, best info on stuttering I've ever heard, its really helping me... :)

  • what an amazing young woman; i wish sometimes i had your courage with my speech x

  • this girl is hero

  • i too spoke like hannah for many years ive now found my fluency through costal breathing .hopefully hannah with the right help will find the fluency she deserves . i think she s a total inspiration for all young people suffering this dreadful condition .well done hannah from tony stuart london

  • ummmm.... wwwwwwwwhat was that couldnt hear you speak up.

  • umm..... what was that couldnt hear u there

  • What a terribly annoying speaker.

  • @angrywinds why are you so angry. I am happy. I am sure something else is bothering you, so you lash out at me

  • Thanks Hannah, you did so amazing... I'm 29 and stuttered since I can remember... Actually it's been getting me down recently, and your videos give me inspiration, thanks darling!! Your cute and full of courage. Peace.

  • @Queeg500RD thank you for the kind words

  • this video must be lagging

  • @kaoticservers nope no lag..your just an asshole thats all.

  • God .. that girl is so strong to do it infront of all .. what a courage ,, what a spirit .. wish you all understand how hard is it to stutter .. i am a computer programer and i do sttuter .. wish i know that girl more and more ..

  • @mariost64 thank you

  • Wow...what great courage this girl has! This was very inspiring. She should be extremely proud of herself.

  • you are a true inspiration i have a stammer and i always feel like a dont want to talk to anyone you should be so proud of yourself your amazing i look up to be like you i want to also raise awareness for stammeres like mez

  • wow, she is amazing

I myself have stuttered since i was 12, it is sooo hard to live with, im in college, and we are having speeches this term, she gave me insperation, i am going to make my speech on stuttering.

stuttering is so had to live with, sometimes i cant answer the phone, or tell someone my name, it effects my life everyday.

  • LOL

  • Hannah may stutter, but she is still somewhat understandable and I praise and love that.

Me though- I stutter very badly, and I can't get amything out.

  • Thank you for the kind comment. Just keep trying and get help. If you are getting help, ask about other options for you. If there is more of a cost involved you can get help from different associations for funds.Just keep trying. Accepts yourself. Working from the inside out makes a big difference. It is part of who we are and we have come to terms with that b/c it will always be there. Are you involved in a group with support for people who stutter. That helped me big time. Take care.

  • I used to "lag" like her (for like a day or two) but then i automatically started to get "blocked" rather than lagging... better i guess.

  • you are a true inspiration

  • People take for granted how hard it is for stutterers to finish "simple" sentences.

  • If she didn't have the stutter this speech would have only been about 1 minute.

  • Why even say that ,seriously? Do you stutter, do you know how hard it is?

  • whoa, at 5:00 that made me cringe

  • Comment removed

  • she used more syllables than i thought. i counted 5,653,792,385,941

  • @j6282

    Rofl

  • your damn brave. GO GIRL xDD

  • wow this girl is great!! such a courageous act..

  • am feeling sorry for u dear. i hope all be alright ok . God is there.

  • no need to feel sorry I am doing just fine. I am now in university studying criminology

  • That's cool!

  • are u still stuttering or not.

  • @kofiaidoo you shouldn't feel sorry for her, she's great and she has more balls than a lot of people. You'd rather feel sorry for people who thinks they're better than others

  • thankx i really appreciate that.

  • hahahahahahaha, sorry, I'm not laughing at the stuttering but her last name is very close to semen

  • It makes it easyier to talk (like more confidence) if people know a person has this horrid problem

  • you are a big inspiration to me

  • Your really brave Hannah. Its my time to be brave now. Thanks Hannah!

  • in order to kind of get your words out if u stutter is to talk slowly and dont be in a rush to get your words out

  • I have so much respect for this girl... she's my idol.

  • hardmancanada.... i kno this is dumb but if you read books out loud on your own you speech will be fluent, i also stutter and it's my only weakness and speaking slow also helps and practice mouth exercises that also helps

  • I agree with you. Reading books does make you more fluent. Try also seeing videos from a different language with subtitles and read them out loud. Like interviews for example.

  • she was very brave! I alsoo stutter and I don't know anyone else (in person) who does. Beind in a camp to meet other stuttering persone should be great a experience. Making good friends are hard to make in my condition. And finding a girlfriend is even more of a challeng because The first impression is very important.

  • Stutters are cute you it should be easy for you to find a girlfriend

  • thanks! I'm starting to realise that.

  • Does anyone know any techniques on how you deal with your stutter like how to speak more fluent..... i know theres vids on youtube but they never tell you they jus bring a before and after so if any 1 could help it'll be much appriciated....

  • is the camera shaking with the vibrations of her voice?

  • i dont know, is your mom's mouth shaking in the beat of your erection?

    dumbass

  • I would punch anybody laughin' in the audience dude! Brave ena!! Keep strong

  • wow - for me, if knew i were going to stutter 'bad', i would want to avoid situation like this - so, i give this girl credit - not sure if i would or could do this, if i were having a 'bad stuttering day' etc... bravo to you, u r brave girl ;0)

  • you're so brave! im proud of you.

  • WOW....Thats the bravest girl ive seen.....Ive had my share of public speaking and Ive had bad experiences with my stutter...

  • After seeing this I think you can do anything you set your mind to. Such determination and strength is much more powerful than any speech impediment. It is worth remembering that 1 out of 7 people have some kind of disability, and many others have problems they must overcome. You have strong character. Good luck to you and I have confidence you will do very well in your life. Lotsa hugs and take care.

  • one of the bravest things i've ever seen, your're an inspiration to me and millions for world over!

  • u go girl that was awsome

  • Hats off to u young lady .....I too stutter and after watching this video i think that I've got a lots of confidence in me ....and m ready to face this world .......this fuckin world ......

  • Great job! Respect!

  • I'm a stutterer but I'm grafeful but I'm not that stammer..

U really a strong girl, unlike me..Whenever i hav to present sometime in front of my classmate i always run away or trying to escape from doin that..

    I've cried after watched it..

  • my dad who normally accept my stammer, today he mocked my stammer

  • I am a stutterer and a doctor. I am now working as a post doc. I had a feeling that this was ruling me until i saw the video of Hannah. You have given me hope and above all you have made me realise that i must accept and let it not rule my mind and future. I shall try to come out of my shyness and shall try to bring awareness.

Hannah... you are Awesome and really Great!

  • Please don't be sad.Hannah is not sad. She is quite happy. She is happy with the goals she has set for herself. Her goals are to bring more awareness, understanding and compassion about stuttering.Hannah was ashamed of her stutter but now she accepts it b/c she realizes by educating, people are much more understanding about it.They realize how difficult it is and the impact it has on her daily life. In the end they have a great amount of respect for her, like you. From her Mom.

  • ah i cant watch stuff like this.

    it makes me so sad.

    i really respect this girl.

i dont think i could do it.

  • i cried when she finished..gOd she is strong like a stone. respect

  • strong, like a rock.

  • Strong like Arnold Schwarzenagger, not physcialy strong like Arnold, but strong in heart and mind!

  • respect for her!!!

  • That's exactly what she's trying to do, you fucking retard.

  • Hannah, you are exceptionally brave and honest. I really admire you.

If any of yall Need someone to tlk to Hit me up...

    Holla ha

  • really?

what kinda stuff do you do?

coz for me, id say its pretty much incurable,

coz it wont matter if im reli confident or not, i still have the same trouble.

  • Wow, that was amazing. At the same it was very emotional, as it brought back my memories of stuttering to read a lesson or even speaking in public. I really admire your bravery for standing up and making this speech. Well done, you're a star.

  • do you not have it anymore then?

  • yes, I still do stutter.

  • ugh... I stutter, but I hate to say it... I couldnt watch this video. I just got way anxious.

  • i know how you feel.

  • I stutter muuuuuuuuuch worse than her:o I stutter in every word in every letter and it takes me 10 seconds to say "truth":o

  • But she does stutter on every word too.

  • Good for you, Hannah. The best way to meet your fears is to face them head on. You are a brave girl and you will be an inspiration to many, I am sure. You go girl!

  • you are doing a greate job! keep going on!

    respect

  • How did u feel after u were done the speech.

I stutter and I'll pass out if I did that speech, u inspired me, u r awesome.

  • When I found the video I first thought: "A stutterer delivering a speech that will be funny to listen to". And in the begining I found it funny.

And then, I started to fill ill at ease about my reaction. I began to realise that I was more and more impressed by her. She stutters on virtually each of the words of this speech, and yet, her courage, her obstination to go until the end of her message, led me to the only possible conclusion:

Congratulations, Ms Seaman, you tought me a lesson.

  • agreed...

  • Thank you, this is all I set out to do.Educate by bringing awareness, understanding and compassion for someone who stutters.

  • her stuttering is so cute and sexy!!
