Puppies, a Vibe (aka Univibe, note Trower or Hendrix) vibratos, phaser, flanger, chorus are all different. Nothing is quite like a Vibe, when you rig these into a board using OD and half stack it does things nothing else can do. This is a photo-cell circuit box which is like the original. FYI, the foot switch uses a STEREO plug cord, not a guitar cable. You do not really need it because usually you set it at a warble pulse like Trower Bridge of Sighs.

Had this pedal as well as most Vibe pedals. This is not a bad pedal and I had the foot pedal. Better than the low price 2 knob boxes, go for the Fulltone if you want a great vibe that can OD the amp for a great tone.

I've also been really disappointed with Dunlop of late. My pedal board was giving me all kinds of trouble until I removed the Rotovibe. Even by itself, not even turned on, it sucked the life out of my tone. It was like turning my amp down from 5 to 4. Most of my patch cords wouldn't "lock" into the jacks, they were always coming loose. The lettering on the case, labelling the functions, has mostly rubbed off. It's a $249 paperweight. Find an old one and you'll be set.
