  • This is shitty. You have to read the freakin book first. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING LIKE THE BOOK!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Okay, not to be rude and I know that you probably worked really hard on this video and I know you're not a professional but...THIS IS NOTHING AT ALL LIKE THE BOOK!!! I mean, seriously...CIA?!?! There was no CIA in the 1900's. And why the modern times. And changing Diggory's last name is just BS!! It's almost like you're mocking him!!!

I understand that you worked hard on this, but next time don't make a video that is unrelated to the book because it just might upset hardcore fans.

  • @EmilyMikuChan

guys, come on. that is the point. we KNOW it has nothing to do with the book. I read the magician's nephew a while before we shot this and we all know that there is virtually no similarities between the book and this film. Again, that is the point.

  • seriously guys! have you even read the book "The Magicians Nephew" half of this isn't even related to the book!

  • Retarded.

  • What in the world???? O_o

  • Hey!! The first guy untroduced to us, he looks like the main guy on Life With Derek on Disney Channel! He looks like it too! Is it?

  • not wat i thought it would be but this is pretty funny!!

    lol.

  • what on earth. yes irs funny but its not what i expected. you got me excited for nothing

  • wtf

  • this is not TRUE to the book at ALL!!!

  • That Bartender knows something!

  • u got to admit the book waz awesome!!! but this messed it up

  • nice and humorous adaptation...lol, and coming from the disney background, i wouldn't rule out a film version of magician's nephew...it's a matter of keeping the fanbase strong enough that disney would stand to profit. (ya know how those silly actors like paychecks )

and the whole which came first debate in the comment section is hilarious: yes, magician's nephew is chronologically first by order of events, but lww is the first published...and mn would mean little without it, so lww comes first

  • Actually half of you are wrong. Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe was written first by C.S. Lewis and called "Prince Caspian": The Return To Narnia, was it's original name before Lewis actually knew he was going to make a series. So no Disney did it in it's correct order.

    Origial:

    1 lww

    2 pc

    3 vodt

    4 sc

    5 hhb

    6 mn

    7 lb

  • Yes ur R right in the correct order in which he wrote them, but he wanted to be read an in the fallowing order

    1) M.N

    2)LWW

    3)HHB

    4)PC

    5)VTDT

    6)SC

    7)LB

Disney was doing it in the orthe that C.S Lewis wrote them( Douglas Gresham (C.S. LEWIS )stepson who is also producing it wanted the movies to be done in the same order that Lewish wrote them ) what matter is no the orden in which they are made ,but that they made them all .

  • by the way you have that lb to be the last book ,but that is not right the Magician 's nephew was the last book C.S.Lewis wrote

  • The magician's nephew was the last of the books to be written by c.s.lewis and he said God rest his soul that that book was the beginnning of narnia and a prequel to the other six and that is why it is always put as no.1 in the narnia series as it show how narnia came into existence

  • according to a narnia book i have the order goes the magiciens nephewe the lion the witch and the wardrobe the boys horse then prince caspain yet prince caspain the movie came before the boys horse movie

  • This sucks

  • This has nothing to do with MN really

  • That is the joke

  • the magicians nephew is the first book in the narnia saga stupid!

  • You are wrong, my friend. The Magician's Nephew is NOT the first book. PC58 is 100% correct!

  • Actually PrinceCaspian58's only about 96% correct, as I have a box set from 1989 (I was given then as a christmas present either 89 or 1990), where it is numbered 1 ;D a good 5 years before HC took over :D so not sure who numbered mine that way.

  • its not the first book written but the first book in order.

  • The Magician's Nephew is not the first book. It's actually the 6th book that C.S. Lewis wrote, but When HarperCollins took over the series in 1994, the books were renumbered using the internal chronological order, as suggested by Lewis' stepson, Douglas Gresham.

  • Yes we are well aware. Just like how The Hobbit was a prequel. But when you are making an adaptation as loose as this, the sequential order of the books really does not come into play.
