  • Zero just loves holy world :D first in a ZvP vs Kal and now in a ZvT vs Hwasin, 2 very good players of their races by the way. wonder if he'll ever pull it off in some long ZvZ, like the 1 Luxury had with his twin Yellow Arnc, that would be totally awsome :D

  • Infested Zer0 on a rampage!

  • Hwasin did nothing wrong after losing the middle. It was absofrickenlutely amazing that he was able to hold his natural for as long as he did, considering Zero's massive economic advantage. It was mostly due to that ginormous science vessel fleet that he could hold out for so long, so I don't think you can really fault him for going with that build.

  • Thanks very much.

  • in the begining he failed to protect that bunker or else he would won after that both players made stupid mistakes and plays not geting more tanks or the huge sci vessel but most importantly the INFESTED TERRAN=0

  • Hwasin got totaly pwned!! xDDD

  • perfect play for zero nice commentary Nuke

  • OMGWTFBBQ! I almost shit my pants on multiple occasions during that match.

Holy World is 7-6 TvZ last I checked, and 4-3 ZvP so this map is definitely not imbalanced. Actually its statistically one of the most balanced maps so far in the star leagues. Zerg can get so predictable at times so I really think that a neutral command center should be a required artifact for new maps. It really makes for some exciting, creative play if the Zerg can muster the cajones to go for it.

  • Agreed, maybe not on all new maps but I wouldn't mind seeing the CC becoming a more common map artifact (say maybe on one map per season, or maybe every other season).

  • @Nukethestars @shortpitched713 this map is not Zerg-imbalanced, It is Zero-Imbalanced =)

  • This game is exactly how my ideal ZvT would go. The MM force always fighting against a constant stream of Zerg units, lurkers pushing them back and Infested Terrans blowing them up. That was awesome.

  • 'Infested Zero' yea he should change his name xD

  • spoiler

This was a great match to watch, but i just dont get Hwasin here, staying with MMs against lurkers?if he'd made a few more factories and gotten out a handfull of tanks he'd have this game in the bag, and he had the gas and the minerals for it, not to mention he had ample time to destroy that neutral CC in the middle...but a great game from ZerO non the less...gg

  • He was probably scared to lose his tanks since that infested terran blew up 2 of them in the beginning, so he didnt even produce too many of them maybe...

  • Terrans never have the gas to make multiple factories and lots of tanks as well as Science Vessels. Vessels are more important, and easier to use.

  • I beg to differ. I don't think he had the economy to move for more facts and tanks, he was only on 2 bases - It doesn't work when you're consistently streaming vessels. And I wouldn't fault Hwasin, Terrans frequently stick with M&M against lurkers, simply because of vessels and zerg adaptability. If done right, it can work. If he would have invested all that money into getting more mech, ZerO could have simply went for some muta. When a zerg hits any more than 5 bases, it's impossible to

  • play a reactionary game, it just can't happen. ZerO could throw in a ton of muta, and switch right back in a heartbeat. What you said sounds all nice and cute, but it doesn't work. I'm not sure where you got that from, but he by no means had the resources to do it.

  • ...there is a flaw in your logic at the very beginning of the post, when i said he had the economy for a tank army i ment that then he wouldnt need so many vessels and if he cut down on the barracks and had 2 more factories, i'm not saying he should have gone mech but just add some tanks to the army of marines, then he'd still have the ability to deny a tech change to mutas with his MMS and have range to deal with lurkers and infested terrans...just my opinion

  • it's called going SK Terran, which is a very viable build vs Zergs... Irradiate>Lurkers even more than Siege mode does...

his problem however was that he wasnt playing aggressive at all, and neither was he expanding. so he was stuck at his 3 bases with 2 gas for the entire game while Zero expanded all over the place.

  • Geee Geee ZerO!

  • Beautiful game to watch.

  • Just call him Hero :D

  • wow zero just forfilled my dark fantasies of this gamme in a pro match amz

great play and great use of the map

    go zero

  • That was really good play by ZERO. Nobody can deny that.
