@SleekandSmooth WD40 is a petroleum-based oil; it'll ruin your gun. Airsoft guns need to be lubricated with 100% silicone oil.

@SleekandSmooth Get the hi capa. WE 1911 and basically any other 1911 other than WA have horrible gas capacity. 1911 magazines can barely hold enough gas to fire off one magazine.

@SleekandSmooth Single stack magazines are basically what you think. The bb's are stacked one on top of each other allowing a slimmer magazine but with a drawback of hardly any gas containment. Double stack magazines are when the bbs are side by side of each other such as an M9,USP,Glock which allows for more bb's in one magazine and much more gas capacity with the only drawback being the bulkiness of it(which isn't bad at all). Okay so you know the little piece at the bottom that moves in and out? Mine is stuck firmly in place and I think it is preventing any gas from coming out. I just bought two propane tanks to use with my new adapter and neither work so I think it has to do with the adapter itself, and the only thing that doesn't seem right would be that my piece doesn't move. Try some traction tape on your tank so it doesn't slip out of your hand. Its like sandpaper with adhesive on the back. You could also use those things you put on steps to keep your foot from slipping. Home Depot has them for like $4 each and you could do about 3 tanks with it.

@SomeAirsoftGuy Yes you need silicon oil beacause it lubes the gun when your shooting it. Also its really good idea to have silicon spray to spray any moving parts on the gun. Gas guns are amazing fun but you have to take good care of it.

No lube means some oring will crack and gas will leak somewhere.
