Cost and insurance differs from person to person. My insurance covered $1500 of the cost. You'll have to contact your provider and ask if they cover orthodontics. Some will only cover for ages 18 and under. Mine covered adults too. Your treatment plan will determine how many sets of aligners you'll need and how long your treatment will last. My particular treatment cost $5800 but then insurance paid $1500 of it. Dr. Carter gives free consultations as do most orthodontists.

@manyousocrazy1 Yes a 13 year old can wear Invisalign. Try Googling Invisalign Teen. The Teen version gives you more aligners in case you lose them.

@manyousocrazy1 The length of treatment varies. It depends on the types of problems you're having with your teeth. My treatment will take around 24 months. But others have taken 12-18 months. After your consultation with the orthodontist, they should be able to tell you.
