I had a large collection (up to '87, with over a dozen vehicles including the terrordrome) but when I grew up I gave them all away to my cousins--they loved me forever. I kept my figures in great shape and with everything too, even the file cards. Never knew they were going to be the best toys of all time and be worth so much....

Have you had to replace the rubber bands in the torsos of the 80's figures? All mine dried out and snapped.

Once in a while some figures rubber snaps and takes out one plateau in the vitrine. When I set them all back up again I mostley find about 5 more with a dryed out band. So I'll replace them :D

1. No idea, I have been collecting for 20 years, so I don't know what it has cost me or will bring up when selling. Depends on the market I think.

2. I will NEVER sell everything, maybe a part of it some day, best thing would be a little museum ;)

3. some joe's broke while playing with it when I was young, or by changing the rubber,the plastic got brittle and shattered.

But no extremely valueable ones. Still a shame though ;)

Say, do you use tinted glass to protect them from the sun, or does it matter?

I use curtains, 2 for the windows, one for the vitrine. It does matter with the light figures, the discolour easily.
