I'm not necessarily complaining, but I find this new ABC to be quite odd. I once read that after looking back at himself in JDA that he'd never go blond again. He had his own look in ABC. Now he just kind of blends into the scene. His new lyrics are forward & blunt. They've made 2 FBs, a blog, twitter, & a youtube channel. Everything just seems so commercial. I wonder how much Yasu has to do with any of this besides showing up to sing. I just fear he's finally let the label gain full control. =/

Its expected to advertise, but 5 months of releases w/ multiple versions of each single & merch that even the biggest fans can't buy all of, not to mention the fanservice in Chou (NOT complaining btw). Yasu and the staffs know ABC has a lot of international fans (JDA FC membership is one of the indicator) and many fans (like me) have worked very hard to get to them so we can get those ameba, mixi, twitter, FB, YT channel. When Yasu chose to appear on USTREAM with Daigo a while ago, he did say he chose these platforms so he can reach more people, not just people in Japan.

And what is wrong with multiple versions? He only has 2 standard versions, not 820916750127 versions like other people and the Les are just 50k copies. And the TSUTAYA version? It’s just super limited, not much copies printed, but it happens because we (especially me) asked for it.

The surgery and matured age (you can read this in the latest CD&DL donna kanji) changed some of his old views toward life (including career and relationship).
