  • SUPER !

  • I remember dancing to this as a young Airman in the RAF,never bothered with the 'message' of the lyrics, just loved the heavy pounding beat of Funk, I wonder what those hot WRAF's I used to dance with look like now? ;)

  • I remember shaking my booty to this in The Royalty Ballroom in Southgate,London,England. But even though I was only about 16 or 17 at the time, thanks to my parents clever and very left wing upbringing,I knew at a very early age what the South African white govenment was doing to the black people and had been doing for years.Steve Biko and Nelson Mandela spring to mind.Still a great disco record none the less.Pax to all from 73soulboy.Xxx.

  • @73soulboy Those were the daze music was in our blood. I used to go to Royalty as well, now its a fucking fitness centre.

  • First, you need to calm down about your comments. You don't know me. We heard this cut when we were teenagers. The problems of South Africa were far removed from out world then. Wasn't til later that I found what the song was all about.. You get a grip. BTW notice the Soul Train crowd shakin their booties. You think they knew about the problems of S. A. back then???

  • Fantastico!!!

  • You have got to hear the bass line on some Cerwin Vegas 18' folded horns. I heard DJ Dagger from Brooklyn NY at the Hotel Diplomat blast this cut, The bass was hitting us dead in the chest. Love this cut!! Whoomp! Whoomp! South African Man.

  • @hbarber This is not about some 'dj". This is/was protest against the racist apartheid regime that was in control of Azania at the time. Get a grip!

  • great track ,,i used to cut up the dance floor back in the day to this

  • Thank you for posting this way cool track from Bohannon's 1974 LP of the same name. Funky dance music that is timeless and certainly defies categorization. Great artist, and check out the 7" version of Disco Stomp Pt. 2 as well as Stop & Go. Happy New Year!! DAVEDJ
