it sucks having a strained hip flexor i was wrestling when i injuried it so i couldnt do a thing at practic and i cant even jog or lift my leg that well
@hotdrumchick Hip Pointer's are deep bone bruises along the iliac crests...what you have aren't hip pointer's. But try, these exercises, they may help your condition anyway.
@jay733 popping is symptom of joint instability meaning the muscles arent there to hold it in place. It does take a substantial lack of movement or under development of muscle for it to be unstable like that so i reccomend you find the exact joint issue and look for strengthening exercises to create more stability. However I'm not a doctor so consult a physician and ask for advice.
This was a great video. Really showed how to get the most from that stretch and how to do it properly. This is now part of my morning and evening stretches (I have a tight psoas on right side) and it has made a HUGE difference in lowering my pain and tightness.
That is actually one of the 1st things I have found that helps my hips. thank you

So will this exercise relieve "hip pointers"? I have them in both hips, especially when I wake in the morning.
