  • And an art expert too.

  • Not many know that Mr. Price was a fine cook, far more so then more famous ones. His cookbook is amazing if you can get your hands on a copy... that and watch the movie keys to the kindom, an old blk & wht movie...

  • Salting any meat or fish before cooking will make it tough and dry, but it's nice to see Wolfgang Puck use red wine with salmon - two bold flavours that work well together.

  • Vincent was a jack of all trades so to speak. He and few other actors like him during his time did alot of the same things suprisingly enough.act, write, cook, creative instincts on high here for sure.Miss yah Vinny.

  • OMFG too distorted.

  • mrprice07, could you please explain how this dish is "very dated"? Thanking you in advance:)

  • @ConalCochran everyones a critic. LOL

  • If you're ever lucky enough to find Vincent Price's cookbook "A Treasury Of Great Recipes" in an old bookstore, do yourself a favor & buy it! I found a 1st edition from 1965 & it's my favorite cookbook. He & his wife went to the best restaurants in the world & collected their favorite recipes from them for this book. It's also the most lavish cookbook I've ever seen; they spared no expense in its production (at least my edition). Plus, it's a real trip back to an era when cooking was done right!

  • Ha ha that's wonderful! Thank you so much! Greetings from Italy :-)

  • Tehe, not only a great actor but a chef too.

....(aha) so thats what superman looks like!

  • @arisztidoltz Yeah, Vincent Price was definitely not just "the horror movie guy." He worked with people like Orson Welles, Joseph Cotton and Jose Ferrer. I think Vincent Price was more talented than some people gave him credit for.

  • @arisztidoltz he actually released a cookbook in the 80's. my cousin got to interview him for a Texas newspaper. The next day he needed a ride to the airport and his chauffeur had cancelled. The only other person in town who he could call was my cousin. So he called her and of course she agreed to give him a lift. Upon reaching the airport he stepped out of her car, grinned, and said "Madame, I have been in many a horror film, but your driving is the scariest thing i have ever seen."

  • wonderful...only robert morley is missing from this stew.

  • YAY VINCENT PRICE!

  • I don't know where you find these gems, but please keep posting them!!

  • I totally want to cook this now! Thank you so much for this GEM!
