In some situations questioning authority is important, because not every authority is right. Sometimes authority is very wrong, it depends on the nature of that authority. Following blindly what any authority says can be dangerous. It's important to find a balance between thinking critically and obeying. We're all humnas and certainly capable of making mistakes.

Yes, but people write about vampires and not believe in them. I can write about a talking rabit, but that does not mean I believe talking rabit's exsist. I'm simply using my imagination.

As for the other information. I don't understand the purpose for it being there. Yes, she was under depression. Yes, she was frightened  by her father. I've never read anywhere that she thought her daughter was destined to die. I'm curious about that. Can you send me a link?

@ViaChristy7 she never said anything of the sort. she said that, during her depression, so many things in her life were going wrong (no money, an abusive ex relationship, etc.) that she was terrified that her daughter, the most beautiful, precious thing in her life she loved and cherished beyond all else, seemed too good to be true and might be taken from her as well. a common fear in depression.

these books r about naught but the redemptive power of love and triumph of good over evil. fullstop.

@19justinbrown88 Actually double lightning bolts symbolize Nazi power. Not one lighning bolt but two. In mythology, yes, the lighning bolt was used to punish creatures by Zeus but it was also used to fertilize, and water earth. Navajo myths linked the lightning bolt to the Thunderbird, the symbol of salvation and divine gifts. The lightning bolt is usually showed to represent power and speed.
