And that's the reason why I always start my clients on lighter weight on the KB until the they understand what proper form is. Are you even KB Certified?
ask bruno if his lower back hurt from the poor form on the kb swings... thats how you seriously get hurt and as a gym trainer you can be sued for not showing proper form to someone you are training... just saying next time make sure you got your customers doing the right thing to protect themselves and your gym
and if you had read them comment, that was the first time ever that bruno had picked up a kettlebell the second part of his set he changes as i gave instruction
". thats how you seriously get hurt and as a gym trainer you can be sued for not showing proper form to someone you are training."
every person that picks up a kettlebell or any other weight, "THE FIRST TIME" runs the risk of injury and we spend time teaching and instructing ......as it is I think this was only 2nd or 3rd time bruno had stepped in to our gym
@jerseyjackalMMA The 20kg ball appears too heavy which is why he is not exercising good form. I've been working with Kettlebells for 2 years as a trainer and for personal use. I would never start anyone with such a heavy weight. First I would make sure they could perform proper squats and second, would start out with very light weight just to get the form down then gradually increase the weight.
great effort. however, those KB swings looked pretty bad: the stance too wide, no explosive extension in the legs, no snap in the hips. i understand it's his first time, but you got to corect him while he's doing it. he doesnt get any benefit from doing wrong and neither the unknowledgeable viewers. then those hip KB squats looked bad too, knees past toes on the lowering phase. u got to corect those things
i understand it, but i think this way of swinging is very dangerous, and ineffective. If there was an experienced coach nearby, he shoudn't let the guy doing this execise in this form. The hip work is completly missing.
