He sounds like he wasn't prepared for a seriouse mature relationship don't be so upset about it try to be understanding as well it's better off it ended now than later and him trying to act like u guys are good for each other ya kno what I mean cheer up and just be understanding that he wasn't ready for it and glad that he broke up with u other than leading u on for more cheer up and there lots more fish in the sea try looking for differnt types of guys that would wouldn't normally be attracted

It's okay to be upset right now, and you are right - don't pretend to be someone you're not to hurt him. Be yourself, but love yourself as well. Hang out with your friends and keep busy <3
